Disponible sur le moment, emplacement correct, personnel agréable, chambre moyenne

Personnel très agréable , disponible. Bien sécurisé.

Climatisation qui se coupe plusieurs fois pendant la nuit, oreillers pas confortables, les alentours abandonnés et en construction donc rien à faire autour et pas forcément rassurant. Pas de petit déjeuner.

Hotel familiar acollidor

El personal és molt amable. Els llits son còmodes tot i que la coixinera és molt alta y dura. Està genial el detall de l'hotel de posar a disposició dels clients de manera gratuïta té, cafè, xocolata i productes tipus galletes i croissants per esmorzar. Es tot un detall. Està molt net.

Les coixineres. Eren molt altes i dures. La habitació triple és una mica justeta de tamany.

L' hotel si trova a 20 minuti circa dal centro di Bilbao. È una bella passeggiata lungo il fiume. La struttura è molto carina e c'è un bel giardino dove potersi rilassare. I titolari sono gentilissimi😉 Si può fare colazione gratuitamente. A disposizione dei clienti ci sono caffè, tè e merendine/cornetti. La stanza è curata e pulita.

A fantastic stay at a class hotel in a beautiful city.

I Liked the location of the hotel, set on an island in the river. The location was quiet, although there is a lot of building development close bye, but the double glazing in the hotel was excellent and you could not hear any outside noise when the windows were closed. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the shops, bars/cafes, metro, etc. There is an excellent bar/café right next door to the hotel providing hot and cold drinks, tapas and snacks. The hotel itself does not provide meals, but there is a free hot drinks machine for use in the mornings and late afternoon/evening. There is also a vending machine that takes cash for snacks, etc. The hotel has a large lift to all floors. The room was of a good size and I did have a chance to upgrade for a price, but I choose not to. The double bed was very comfy, there was a desk and chair, bedside tables, a comfortable arm chair, wall mounted TV and a phone for internal calls only. The bathroom and shower was of a good size and towels were provided. Everything was clean and modern despite the building being established. The hotel is family run with the owners living at the premises. On check-in you are given a does and don'ts sheet which was very useful and check-out was easy, just depositing the key in the box provided just outside the check-in desk. The hotel is fully secure with CCTV and a swipe card to gain access to the hotel and your room. I will return to Bilbao and will definitely use this hotel again.

I liked it all, but some may want to consider the daily walk to the main facilities and back. As mentioned, there is a lot of building development going on next to the hotel, which may worry some, but I did not find it intrusive, or off putting. When the building work is completed the area will look upper class and desirable.

Fijn aangenaam verblijf, op goed te lopen afstand van de bezienswaardigheden

Vriendelijke ontvangst, goede uitleg van de gastheer, waar we heen moesten gaan en de ligging. Ondanks dat er flink gebouwd wordt hebben wij daar geen hinder van gehad. Gratis parkeren op nog geen 50 meter van het hotel. In tegenstelling tot wat we gelezen hebben van andere reizigers, hebben wij alles wandelend gedaan en was dit prima te doen !!! Gugengeim = 20 minuten lopen, oude binnen stad 35 minuten.

Totaal geen kritiek. Hotel is prima voor overnachting en kamers misschien wat eenvoudig, maar super netjes. Een goede badkamer/douche. Inderdaad wat klein, maar je gaat ook niet naar een wellnesshotel.

Alright for two nights, but not a first choice

We had booked a double room, it was okay. The bathroom and shower were great and the bed was quite comfy. There was a lot of closet space. The room and the bathroom were very clean. There was an easy to use air conditioner.

The room was dark (only one window and the blinds were down because of the heat). It felt a bit too small. There are strict rules on what you can and cannot eat in the room (snacks are ok, bread and fruits not ok). The building has thin walls, you could hear what other guests were doing.

The manager is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and comfortable with a nice garden. The free coffee and biscuits/cakes were a nice start to the day. It's on an island but there many places to eat and drink within 15 minutes and the guggenheim is only 30 minutes walk away

A comfortable stay in a quiet area

If you want a quiet and comfortable room in a nice area overlooking the river, away from the noise of the downtown/city centre area then this is the place for you. There's a bus stop nearby, or you can walk along the river to the centre which takes 30 mins or so. As for the area, it feels very safe. Even late at night there are people walking their dogs, exercising, walking along the river.. around near the hotel is very quiet. I've travelled a lot through Latin America, and more recently around Spain and this area is probably the safest I've felt anywhere, and it's a very pleasant walk to and from the centre.

Decent value for money

Good value for money. Friendly helpful staff, clean, comfortable room. Location good for University and stadium

A bit of a walk to the main sites. 30 min to Guggenheim about an hour to the old town. Lovely walk though. Tram stop is 10 min walk. Easy to use, goes to add all the main points of interest. Not the hotels fault but there is a big building site close by. Didn't bother me but worth considering if you're a light sleeper

Nice but too expensive.

The room was clean and beds comfy. Good, warm welcome.

I would have expected a hot shower (shower was cold) and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The front door slamed through the night; soft close would be a nice feature. Comparable accommodation in more central Bilboa locations were charging around 20 euros per person per night. This would have been a more appropriate price.

Perfect stay for the value, clean, with all comforts and very nice staff

The owner was really helpful. he let us check in earlier than the actual time and suggested a lot of things to do in the city. also gave us a map :)

the only thing would be to suggest to have single pillows instead of one long but this is a very minimum thing

Great stay

The owners are so friendly and helpful !! thank you for keep our bags prior and after check in. Also, thank you very much for help us to get a taxi to the airport. beds are comfy, room and bathroom are very clean and the area is very quiet for a good night of sleep. there is a tube station 12 min walking distance.

I liked everything, but as the hotel is in a little island is bit “tricky” to get in and out all the time.

under expectations...

The room is clean in general, the bathroom is renovated (in contrast to the rest of the room). The modern elevator, a nice inner courtyard, free snacks and coffee at the entrance to the hotel. The kind receptionist (gave me a map of the city and showed me points of interest). Access to the hotel and the room is based on a card. The bed is comfortable, but the pillow is very long (about a meter long??!) and hard to handle. During my stay I had heat at night (the heater worked well), but there is also an air conditioner in the room.

The main problem is the parking - there is none at the hotel and they apologizes: "it's full" - it is very difficult to find parking in this area, so if you travel by car take into consideration this. No water pressure and you have to wait some time for hot water to come. It's a desolate sight, it's being built everywhere and it's an infernal noise during the day. The room is very small: you can't even get out of bed on one side. Outdated sockets, switches, telephone reception (except bathroom). There are no towel hooks in the bathroom, but instead there is a hair dryer. The internet went down several times in the evening.

Terrible because of the noise made by the banner shaking in the wind.

The view is lovely.

The pillows are terrible, we would recommend something softer and smaller. The bathroom size too small, uncomfortable use of wc since there isn't enough space for your legs since you have the garbage bin, consider I am a petite size. What makes our rating so off putting is the noise of the banner attached to our balcony. It was very windy and it made an excruciating noise all day, afternoon and night long which made it impossible to bear. Honestly this cannot be attached to the balcony as made our stay impossible to enjoy.

Nice location - Hard to rest

The location is great and the staff is extremely nice and helpful!

The loudest hotel I have ever been in. You can hear everyone talking in the entrance from your room. Especially if you are in the first floor. Also, the only way to shut the door is to "click" the door (there is no door handle), so every time someone gets in their room you are 100% aware of it. I left a message to get a quiet room but I believe it was ignored.

Cheap and off beaten track but good value for what it was

Small hotel. Friendly staff. Small room Very off the beaten track so at least 30 mins walk to major parts of town and abit remote but good value for money.

Further from main town than I thought. Quite remote place that I wouldn't have wanted to walk to alone.

I would not call this place a Hotel. It is very misleading and very expensive for what was offered.

The Husband and wife who ran the hotel were friendly and helpful. He gave me an adapter for the electricity as I had forgotten mine. There was no restaurant only a coffee machine and litte baskets of pastries, there was a machine for chocolate and crisps and another for bottled drinks. No tea facilities in the bedroom. I moved out after two nights as there was an intermittent buzzing during the night approximately 3 times an hour. I did not sleep and got a taxi to another hotel in Bilbao. I had to pay again.

No restaurant or decent tea and coffee arrangement. No Breakfast or evening meal available. No indication of this on Booking .com
