In 20 Minuten gelangt man außerdem zu Fuß ins Zentrum, also alles bestens.
Die Umgebung ist ein bisschen grindig, vor allem die Stiegen mit teilweise abgeschlagenen Stufen, auf denen immer suspekte Gestalten mit allerlei "Rauchwaren" herumlungern.

I am speaking about Dryades hotel. Very good one, I felt really great there. Personeel especially the lady was absolutely very helpful in every way. She explained me everything about the hotel, the city.
Great advice to go to the hotel or leave is best with the taxi as the hotel is on the hill.
The hotel is on the hill but near the park and the market on Saturday's. Walking from the hotel direction to the center if you will allow yourself to walk without the gps and looking for good looking areas you will discover nice places to grab good food, smoothies, greek coffee, anything you like.
Orion hotel needs an uplift but has a good vibe. Both hotels are on the hill so if you are not a fit person then it's not for you. For someone who is fit it's automatically a great exercise for all of your muscles ;).

The hotel has been extensively renovated and is good value for money. A nice touch was the kettle and tea bags. The staff are friendly and polite and answered any specific questions easily. I love the roof top breakfast terrace, which really gives a great start to the day. Also, this is a favourite area of mine and it was a 5 minute walk to the lovely taverna Ama Laxei.
The room wasn't exactly as described " city view" but was over the back street facing the hilltop park, but it was comfortable enough, quiet and I slept well. The breakfast was not as good as a previous visit, but it was enough to start the day.

It was my third time staying there, great friendly staff and I liked the spot where it is located, its a bit of a walk to the main attractions but that is not an issue for me but if you are limited in movement then perhaps somewhere closer would be better considered. WIFI was very good and there is a wondaful roof top setting with incredible views of the Acropolis and Pantheon which also is where the breakfast is served in the morning.
That week I was staying there was a noisy group celebrating, they seem to go on for a few nights until they were booted out I think. Depending on the room, some rooms dont have the best soundproofing but they have a good mix of rooms spread between floors and blocks so you can ask about that.

staff were excellent
hotel was neat
The location not that great
4.3
Everything. Every member of staff had a smile on their face and a positive attitude. Anything I would ask, they would drop what they were doing to make helping me a priority. The room was as explained, clean and welcoming and the view up top was incredible. Thank you to all of the staff for everything you have done. When I pass back through Athens, I will stay :)
Nothing :)

I stayed there for nine nights, and I highly recommend it. It is essential to know that the hotel is located on an uphill street, and it might be slightly challenging to walk for older people. However, the taxi can bring you to the doorstep. The nearest subway station is one kilometer(16 min walk) away. The rooms are well-equipped, and the staff are super helpful. There were noisy people in the hotel at the time of my stay in my next door, and a staff member relocated me upon my request.
The hotel is cozy, and you will enjoy a rooftop with Acropolis view
I can't find any drawbacks.
4.3
The roof terrace is lovely! Our room was large and very clean, and staff were pleasant and helpful.

3rd time staying, they looked after me very well , I originally booked a single room which did not turn out to be a great choice for me due to noise but they changed me to a great room.
I will stay there again because of the staff and location
There was unfortunately a noisy group was staying there that same week and they were not curtious to others, speaking loudly in the hallways at 1am and having small parties, I think they got thrown out after a few nights. The room above me had a wooden floor and people seemed to move and drag furniture around alot which you could hear very loudly late at night.
4.3
very friendly staff, they offered us a family room instead of a double room with no additional charge, just to have more space and a bigger terrace. that was very lovely. the rooftop is great and the staff is sooo friendly.
all was fine.
4.3
Very friendly staff, great area with good restaurants, the hotel was clean and the breakfast was really fine for only 7 euros.
I'd come here again
Unfortunately the mattress was very hard. But everything else was great
4.3
The balcony was nice and the terrace view.
Mosquitoes attacked me and other bugs. I was struggling because of that. The room by itself is smaller than on the photo. Bathroom is not comfortable, especially when washing a face.

I arrived to Athens and booked this hotel upon arrival for 2 nights. I was met with a great mood from the receptionist where she explained in details about the stay where everything was and simplified everything for me - this was well needed as I barely got any sleep on the morning flight so all I was thinking was I needed a nap ASAP.
As soon as I got into my room, I switched on the AC desperately and got into bed and had a pleasant nap. I really enjoyed how central the location was - the hotel is close to everything you would need and I spotted lots of nice restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. I can really recommend this hotel!
The shower felt quite small, but it was not really a problem or anything at all.
