Stilvolle Oase in Darmstadt

Wir haben im Nebenhaus übernachtet. Uns gefiel das Design des Hotels und der Zimmer im edlen Countrylook. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, ebenso wie die A-la-carte-Gerichte am Abend auf der Restaurant-Terasse. Zum Nebenhaus geht man sehr reizvoll kurz durch den Park am See vorbei, kann aber auch mit dem Auto fahren.

Schön und ruhig.

Frühstück war sehr lecker, große Vielfalt und sehr guter Kaffee. Die Lage war traumhaft! Schön ruhig.

Tatsächlich fand ich den Zimmerpreis doch sehr hoch, Vor allem da das Frühstück dann noch on top kam. Was ich gar nicht gut fand, war der Fön im Bad. Ich weiß, dass sind diese typischen Hotelföne, aber ich finde sie einfach grauenhaft! Und ich fand schade, dass die Hotelbar erst um 22:00 Uhr geöffnet hat.

Stilvoller, entspannter Sprung in die Darmstädter Geschichte

Geschichte pur, mit modernem Komfort. Das ehemalige Jagdschloss der Landgrafen von Hessen-Darmstadt. Und abends ein leckerer Weißwein aus dem Weingut Prinz von Hessen an der Bar.

On booking.com page it says pet friendly, but which is not true. They ask that pet cat should stay in box/cage when we in room. Due to that, we cannot cancel by our side, so we went to the reception to do the cancellation with them. Making it inconvenience for our journey.

A magical place

an amazing location a beautiful property near the lake and the forest with hiking trails 23 min. from Frankfurt airport 7 min. from a nice and big shopping centre and you can’t feel it it’s like you are deep in the woods

Beautiful location, attentive staff! Restaurant is fantastic!

The room was very cold and only had a small radiator. Even after switching it on the room did not heat up during the night. Wool blankets were provided.

Last year we could charge our electric car. This your this service has been discontinued “due to high electricity prices” as explained by the reception. why not increase pricing? For us not having charging facilities is a reason not to come back to this hotel, despite the positives of the hotel.

Very unique hotel. Comfort, clean and friendly atmosphere . Free parking and nice view surrounding. Absolutely will be back.

not much. they made us stay in the converted hunting lodge-not the hotel as pictured

having to walk all the way to the hunting lodge which has a museum on one side and then take our bags up the old stairs-no lift.

Location, historical environment, large room, natural forest surroundings

Service level (low level of customer care), e.g. reception staff on (private?) call for more than five minutes not serving checkout customers, breakfast staff must be asked for serving boiled eggs, pepper, hot water (annoying for the servant on day 1, shameful for unavailability with the servant on day 2), room cleaner makes herself audible as much as possible when her shift starts at 7:30 am…

Beautiful hotel like a castle. staff was very friendly and accommodating. their cakes are amazing!

Rooms did not have air conditioning and it was quite hot jn June. had to leave the windows open which caused bugs to enter the room.
