Posizione centrale ma colazione da migliorare

Posizione centrale ma silenziosa. Stanza ampia e confortevole

La colazione in camera consiste solo in una macchinetta del caffè in stanza con un paio di capsule, un succo di frutta a testa in frigo e una merendina, oltre a fette biscottate in busta e qualche confezione monouso di marmellata industriale. Per il prezzo pagato, la colazione avrebbe dovuto essere servita in camera, dando la possibilità di ordinare qualcosa (cappuccino, cornetti, frutta...), oppure il b&b potrebbe convenzionarsi con uno dei tantissimi bar presenti in zona. In un mio precedente soggiorno presso la stessa struttura la colazione era organizzata diversamente. In questo caso, alla fine, abbiamo preferito andare a fare colazione al bar (a nostre spese, ovviamente). Peccato.

It was perfect!

This B&B was perfect. Maurizio was very helpful and friendly. The location was great and very convenient for a solo traveler. the terrace and the breakfast was very good. This place was very pleasant and made my stay in Lecce great. Grazie mille Maurizio.

Great location, only a 15 minute-walk from the train station and very close to centro storico. The host, Maurizio, is very friendly and kind and it was very easy to check in/check out. Nice breakfast and coffee are served in the room, which we found very convenient.

central place but… BED BUGS !!!

the stay is nice and central. the bathroom is clean. The breakfast is ok.

BED BUGS ! The most disgusting you can have a place where you sleep. all the mattresses, bed sheets and chairs we re full of is. we had to run to the pharmacy to treat our luggages and clothes, hoping we won’t bring those disgusting insects with us.

Superb

Great terrace with stunning view over Lecce. Overall a nice bed and breakfast and nice room. Breakfast was served on the terrace and quite large.. Location is also perfect in the city center.

It could be hard to find a parking spot but not a major problem. Pretty steep stairs

mauritizio was friendly and helpful. great location quiet rooms air con clean good bed.all good. The addess on google maps and the website is inaccurate for whatever reason so just contact the accommadation to confirm adrdress to save any problems.good job!

Wonderful location - shame about the facilities

The breakfast was good and delivered to my room at the agreed time and all the staff I met were very helpful.

I could write an essay on the ‘faults’ with this B&B but suffice to say it was at the top of the building ie 50 steps with no lift. The apartment was in three different rooms separated by a staircase. There were no cooking facilities whatsoever and no additional charging plugs in the room. Bed side lamps had to be unplugged! The only window in the room was covered with a heavy fabric blind difficult to move.

Exceptional

Great stay! Very beautiful room, with great aircon and comfy bed. Great value. Reception is unmanned at times, we called the number on the front door and a guy came quite quickly and checked us in. There are stairs leading up to the repception and further up to the rooms. Location was perfect for us, as we were on foot walking the city, and it was close to almost everything we wanted to explore. We enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend it to others. To the owner, I would recommend putting in a small fridge, as we really missed being able to keep cool water and sodas in the hot weather, or being able to get cold water on site for example from the reception (or at least we couldn't find it).

Breakfast was very good and position of the hotel was perfect. The building is very nice. People were nice and supportive also to find transportation.

The room was rather small and the bathroom was bad smelling and not so clean. We are mother and son (22) and do not sleep together, was told 2 beds were available but one was very small, good for a kid, not for grown up people

A Wonderful stay in the center of Lecce!

Location was super central in the historic center of Lecce. Our gorgeous room was one of the basilica style old ceilings which was quintessential of the old town - so pretty! Our on-suite bathroom was chic and clean! Maurizio was a warm and welcoming host and arranged breakfast to be brought each morning. Lovely!

Hidden gem in a wonderful city

Perfect location near lots of restaurants, bars and the old town but also very quiet so you get a lovely night's sleep. Air con in the room was fantastic, we arrived in 30° heat. The Orange room was stunning, very spacious and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast is served to your room. We loved our stay here and would thoroughly recommend it.

Bordeaux room - Advantages & disadvantages

The location is really close to Lecce's centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hot water in the shower all day. The air condition was working really good. The roof that is made from stone is something 'different'.

There was a huge problem with the toilet flush, it was flowing down at infinitum. The water flow of the shower was at the lowest level. The closet is broken at the back side. There was also a problem with the mites, as i realized that i had several bites in my body, because of the darkness of the room. The room was not so clean, such it was seem to be in the photos at booking. Really small room for 3 to 4 persons.

It was beautifuk

The breakfast was delivered to our room at the time that we requested. Tge staff was fantastic and the location was perfect for seeing everything g in the city.

Although the location was excellent, the room fell short of what we paid for.

The location was excellent. The breakfast, in the room, was a nice touch and good. The room was quite small and did not provide the "two queen beds" that we had booked. There was one queen bed and two single cot-like beds. The two cot-like beds were wobbly and seemed unstable.

There was a missing Television that had been advertised for the room. Maurizio told us that "the last occupants had damaged? the television and that he would run get one now and bring it back"? Difficult to understand exactly what had happened to the television from our conversation. Once he left to get a replacement one, we never saw him again. I was most disappointed that the room advertised was for 2 queen sized beds and that is what we paid for. There was no offer of a lesser price.

I wouldn’t recommend

The location

We both had severe allergies from dust mites and i had bites all over my body that caused aggressive skin rashes. This was probably caused by the fact the room is very dark (there was only a little window near the ceiling) and there’s little to no ventilation + they haven’t cleaned the upper sides of the furniture and under the beds in ages. The coffee machine didn’t work. All the dishes were dirty. Bidet was broken. The breakfast was strictly portioned and poor and not that fresh (Industrial cakes with some sugar powder)

Nice room and perfect location, but breakfast was bad and host was unhelpful

The room was beautiful, nice vaulted ceilings. The property was decorated with lots of art which was very nice. Also the location was perfect, in the middle of the centre of Lecce, everything was in walking distance.

The breakfast was not good. The first morning we got a muffin and cake, which is not suitable for breakfast by our standards. However, when we said we would prefer bread with ham/cheese, they did accomodate to us for the rest of the stay. It is however not possible to get fresh eggs or fresh juice. Furthermore, the host was barely there at the accommodation to help us with information. When I texted him to ask about the best way to get to Otranto, he was very short in his answer and unhelpful.

The city is beautifull, staying in the old city was nice.

We booked a room with teracce, and we find out that we have to climb stairs, so we changed to another room. It was the Red Room. This room has a wooden cielling, so we heard every step of the room above us.

Fantastico host

Perfect location near beautiful churches and a multitude of restaurants. Lovely room with domed ceilings. Owner Mauricio was extremely accommodating and delightful.

Parking was a challenge, in the old city. Would be helpful to have a map of area when arriving with areas to park.

The room appearance with vaulted ceilings, captioned in the booking promo, was not applicable to our room. The in-room refrigerator did not work. The shower rose & water pressure need improving.
