Perfect for a weekend in Rhodes Town.

This was a great hotel for our three days in Rhodes Town. The owner came to meet us from the transfer with a trolley for the luggage (you'll need it, you can't get dropped at the front door) quite late at night. The courtyard has a little plunge pool, which is great for cooling off. The hotel has been renovated with lots of nods to its past. Daily bottles of water in the room were very welcome. It was our honeymoon and they welcomed us with surprise wine and fresh fruit in the room - really nice of them.

Maybe a very British comment, but I expect tea and coffee-making facilities in the room at this price point.

Very good

Beautiful renovation and charming garden. Excellent location and helpful staff. Quite the most comfortable bed we have ever experienced away from home. Really good breakfast. A pleasure to be able to eat outside.

Bedroom lighting very poor. Dreadful hairdryer, why? Lack of comfortable indoor seating.

Spirit of the Knights is a hotel to remember, part of Old Rhodes town walking down the cobbled street to its entry gate.

Spirit of the Knights is a small boutique hotel that perfectly caters for the independent traveller. It’s such an opportunity to stay in a beautifully restored building from the past. Our host Duncan was so obliging, with a great sense of humour.

Spirit of Knights is a must while in Rhodes.

There is everything to like about the Spirit of the Knights. Perfect location,spotlessly clean, most congenial hosts who attended to all our needs. The place is just gorgeous, you are in a piece of living history with all the mod cons and so painstakingly and lovingly restored. There is an attention to detail everywhere you look, whether in the furnishings, design and decoration, the stately library, the tranquil garden, but also in the lovely breakfast, which was sumptuous. Duncan is a delightful and endearing man who could not do enough to assist us. Elena was the perfect hostess, who always went over and above. It was hard to leave and we will miss them both.

I’m looking forward to going back! Unique.

We loved staying at this hotel. It’s a beautiful sanctuary in a quiet spot of the Old Town. Close enough to walk to an array of brilliant restaurants, shops, bars and the castle, which we visited and it was well worth it. Stunning mosaics! The breakfast is lovely too with a great choice of freshly made options. The hotel owner Duncan made us feel very welcome and I was blown away by the way his family lovingly restored ancient ruins to create this little haven of a hotel. It had so much character and a beautiful well-cared for garden, it’s a truly heavenly place to be.

Nothing could have been better.

A Gem of Old Rhodes Town

The location, comfort, attention to detail, garden facilities and small pool. The excellent standard of refurbishment of an historical building in the Old Town. The food at breakfast was superb. Friendliness of the staff, both Elena and Duncan went out of their way to make our stay at this family run gem a dream.

Exceptional

I came on business, but extended and my wife came too. The Pascha suite was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the steam room good fun! Duncan and Lena were very helpful from pick up to drop off, they made everything easy. Great location.

A beautiful old building exquisitely furnished. Delicious a la carte breakfast. Lovely service that makes you feel at home. I could have spent the whole day in the lush garden watching the butterflies, or sit at the library reading the various interesting books.

Loved it and would like to return for longer visit

Perfect location for exploring old town of Rhodes, lovely place to stay, comfortable and peaceful inside and out. Excellent breakfast, good choice with fresh ingredients, prepared when ordered.

Steep stone steps to main accommodation level , ok for us but could be very difficult for someone with reduced mobility

Hotel's atmosphere is magical and mystical. Spacious rooms makes you feel like a king. Perfect handmade breakfast made by the hotel manager!

Extremely quiet

While it might be a little difficult to find the first time, you are thankful for that going forward. It is off the beaten path but still close to the heart of Rhodes. It is a beautiful hotel with great staff and an amazing breakfast! Can’t beat this one!

Excellent stay in old town of Rhodes

We have stayed in various hotels in Rhodes over the years and this one was the best so far. Beautiful hotel with a nice shady garden with a refreshing plunge pool. Friendly and witty staff. Excellent breakfast. Good communication around the stay and transfers.

Hard-pressed to find anything about this hotel that is not to like, but maybe the absence of a glass shower wall in the bathroom. This caused a bit of a water ballet when showering. Not a big problem, just a minor nuisance.

A lovely get-away/oasis in the middle of Old Town Rhodos.

The hotel was in a great location, off the beaten path of the tourist overload and still right in the middle of things. The garden was like an oasis, and fabulous for relaxing. Breakfast was beautiful, the beds divine and the staff super helpful. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and already have. A haven, a wonderful get-away.

I had no complaints at all. Even with fires burning across the water and water restrictions to guests the staff went out of their way to make sure everyone was informed and taken care of. I have only good things to say about our stay!

A little gem

The people were incredibly helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. Quick to respond pre arriving. The place is beautiful, lovingly restored and maintained. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat.
