Yhden yön stoppi matkalla Helsinkiin.

Erittäin hyvä sijainti, majoittuminen ja alueen palvelut toimivia, hyvä aamiainen helposti saatavilla, erittäin kiva lisä kun kanootit ja veneet olivat ilmaiseksi käytössä!

Exceptional

Really cosy experience - we had the Laavu cottage which was tiny but really cute. The amenities were good, we stayed close to the bathroom and kitchen which was really nice. Electricity in the cottage was very appreciated! The surroundings are beautiful, and there is a Lidl in walking distance!

Great place to stay

Great cabin with electric sauna and glass roof. The cabin and surroundings were clean and well-maintained.

The younger staff English was very poor. There was no wifi in the cabin. (However this was little bit expected.)

Disappointing

This place is ok, if you like dog smell and dog hair. The cottage had a strong dog smell and everything was covered (also the bed) with dog hair from the previous guests…

Stunning lakeside location

Excellent location right on the lake, made even better by the availability of canoes and rowing boats for guests to use. There is also a nice wood-burning sauna for an extra fee.

We didn't even get to the accommodation, we paid through booking, the money was withdrawn, after a few minutes we received a message that the accommodation is full and we will be refunded. To this day, we have not received a refund from Booking.com We have already written everywhere and unfortunately without success. Please give us our money back!!! Grac

If you don't care how are you treated, you can choose this place.

The nature.

The worst place regarding communication and service ever. I have been in many places during work trips but this is by far the worst on how you are trated as client. No respect at all. It felt that i schould be greatfull that I got chance to spend time in this "amaizing" place.

Dirty toilet, no wifi, rented towels smelt bad (like washed few years ago), old and dirty kitchen sponge, only one cooking pot! generally not so clean.

Beautiful cabin, beautiful setting, very nice hosts!

We stayed in in an igloo cabin with a glass roof. It was wonderful and so relaxing to watch the lake and the trees! I highly recommend!!

Real Finnish holidays Everything was Nice

Everything was Perfect, nice area, wonderful owners, wonderful place and wonderful sauna and beach! I recommend eyes wide shut!

The experience left a bad taste in mouth

The igloo cabin was nice - great lake view and next to the beach and sauna.

Customer service was extremely bad. We were supposed to be a big group of people (a wedding party) and many of us had made their bookings many months ahead - even a year in advantage directly through the property. We even contacted the property many times to make sure the bookings are ok and we were all ensured that everything is fine - until a few days before the event, when basically all these bookings were cancelled by the property because they had made double bookings. My partner and I were the lucky ones whose booking (made via booking.com) wasn’t cancelled, but still the whole idea of everyone staying at the same place for the weekend was ruined because of this as the rest of the group had to stay elsewhere. The way the owner/manager handled the issue was not professional and they did not compensate the harm caused by it. We got the impression that this was not a mistake at all, and the property had made double bookings on purpose to play it safe. Also to be noted: bed linen and cleaning are not included in the price. They charge 10€/person for the sheets. Would not recommend this place.

Location great near main road, forest, lake, wellplanned location of service facilities. Frendly crew.

Excellent place but need some minor fixing ,🌅☀️

Rowing boat, lakeside beach, kids playground, and other facilities.

All except the black out curtains used to cover ceiling of the iglu cottage. It's irritating while we wanted to sleep at mid-night. Ceiling Curtains were not fitted well and lights passes many ways. Especially, I couldn't sleep due to have excessive light. Otherwise, the view from the cottage was exciting and enjoyable. Next time, I wouldn't book the Iglu, rather choose other options.

Good place to stay in Leppavirta

The location is the most appealing thing about this place. It is located on the banks of a lake and close to the main road just before entering the town centre.

I had expected the bed linens to be a bit more clean.
