The screened in porch was our favorite spot. We made use of the smoker and the grill. We loved how many options we had for dinner seating and game playing. Really well thought out for relaxing and connecting!

We loved the house- it was extremely comfortable. Our group consisted of my 80+ yo mom, three 17 yo teens, my 2 sisters and my husband. The game room was great- ping pong was played by most. We didn't get to enjoy the hot tub due to some mechanical issues, but the property owner was gracious and compensated us for the lack of the hot tub. Other than that (and the crazy Texas heat!) we really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen had top of the line appliances, and we appreciated the second refrigerator. Everything we needed for cooking was supplied. Very well stocked. We loved the long table with the metal top- great for games! Towels and bedding were very nice quality and the mattresses were comfortable. There was a lot of parking for the 4 vehicles. It's in a beautiful place to go for walks (when it's cool), and we did get in a good 15 minute walk before melting and giving up to the AC. The AC in the house was able to keep up with the outdoor heat, so no worries there. The screened in porch was nice. If you are looking for good bar food and don't mind an extremely loud atmosphere, Savages, the closest restaurant is fun. Our group didn't really enjoy just because we couldn't hear each other. The food was on par for bar food. We had a very nice stay and felt we were very informed about everything. Management was very attentive. Lovely stay!

We came for our son’s wedding in town, but have all agreed we want to come back for a long family weekend and just enjoy the house and it’s amenities. It is rustic and comfortable. We had a small lizard sitting atop our light shade but my grandson thought that was fabulous! Room for adventure and fun! Two thumbs up!

Our family had a great time at your house. It was nice for each bedroom to have a private bath. Loved the game room (have you ever considered adding a rest room in that space?)! Loved all the outdoor space - the screened in porch and the picnic area. The house is 10 minutes from downtown Wimberly making it easy to get to town and the grocery store. Will definitely return in the future!

Book this house! This house was clean and the perfect space for our group of 8 women. Kitchen is well stocked and everything is in really nice shape. Hot tub, game room, screened in porch, cozy living space - we loved everything! Beds were comfy, showers were hot.
Easy 10-15 drive to downtown Wimberley.
That being said - don't listen to Google or Apple maps for directions to the house, get specific directions from property management.

This place is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We had plenty of room for everyone to relax and chill out. I especially loved the screened in porch and porch swing. Our young adults loved hanging out in the game room. The kitchen was well equipped for my foodie hubby and with the two large tables we had plenty of room for everyone to eat at once. Thank you so very much. We really loved it and have already recommended to friends!

I was impressed by how clean the place was. The bathrooms and showers were pristine. The AC system works really well and we really appreciated it. There are so many great areas to congregate, play, and eat. You really don’t even need to leave the property, but if you do all the cute shops and restaurants in downtown Wimberley are just a short drive away.

I seriously loved everything about this property. The booking process was so easy, the property was beautiful and all of my friends loved the house. It was the perfect stay for my husband’s birthday. 10/10 would recommend!!

Fun for a family get-together
We stayed with college friends and our families. This home was perfect for all ages. There was plenty of seating for hanging out together, including an amazing screened in porch. We had a great time stargazing by the fire pit, and the kiddos loved watching all of the wildlife. Thank you for sharing your home with us! :)

The AC in the game room was not working, no discs for the disc golf course, no wine opener, a door handle was loose and fell off and there was no tool box to fix it. We had to buy a screw driver to fix it (it was the front door).
The house was really nice. It rained when we were on the back porch and it was so quiet with the rain on the tin roof. It was magical. Overall it needs some small amenities and a more communicative property manager but still a great place. Very quiet and enjoyable with enough to do on the property.

Rustic House on the Prairie
The house was very nice, clean and comfortable. We especially liked that each bedroom had their own bathroom. Kitchen had modern appliances and the other rooms were spacious enough for 10 people to enjoy. It also included a great playroom with games and a movie theater. We would definitely rent again if in Texas.

Every room had an attached bathroom which was wonderful! This is the perfect little place to feel secluded in the woods but also very close to a restaurant, bar and HEB. We stayed with three families and had plenty of space. There were rat droppings all throughout the kitchen so make sure you wash all pots and pans before use. There was only one roll of toilet paper per restroom so maybe pack a couple rolls to bring. Overall this property exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful, relaxing time!
