Lovely venue and perfect for what we required

Breakfast was great. Staff were really helpful. There was no water when we woke up so no shower/running water in the bathroom. The staff said that this had happened before/regularly, maybe a contingency plan to be put in place

Recently refurbed, comfy, really clean, nice food

The Towel rail was on full heat all night so the bathroom was like a sauna. The bathroom light is on a timer, I’m assuming because of the extractor. Not the end of the world but seems a bit needless and must be wasting so much power for the owner.

Perfect for overnight

This is definitely a pub with rooms. The rooms appear new. They were spotless and well provisioned we had a kettle, cafetière, tea coffee and small fridge with milk and water. Bed comfortable. Meals are served in the pub. Food was very good and stsff helpful

The coffee for breakfast was the cons coffee. We made up cafetière from room instead

Friendly staff, beautiful comfortable room and excellent food

The staff were so friendly and the room very comfortable, with everything you could want for a short stay. Little touches like plenty of tea bags and a real choice of hot drinks in the room. The food in the restaurant is excellent too, with so much choice, and a superb breakfast

The only negative I can find is that it would have been nice to have some tissues in the room

Over night stay

I just loved the room, it had everything you needed, comfortable and spacious, you can easily stay more than one night. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it. Food was lovely!

Excellent stay overall - would recommend

The accommodation is annexed to the main pub which was great as you feel like you have got your own space. Outside there is the pub terrace which, again is a good area. Breakfast and the service on check in and at breakfast was exemplary - thank you.

The accommodation is next to a main road which was noisy early on but quietened down later in the evening. We got back from our night out shortly after 10pm but the pub was shut which was a shame as we wanted a last drink before bed. Had we been informed then we could have brought a drink with us as there is a fridge in the room

Tastefully presented country pub with great food and accommodation

Friendly staff, excellent rooms with comfortable beds and good attention to details like a small fridge with water and fresh milk. Lunch was very good.

Great breakfast and friendly staff. Great location for the event we attended at the weekend.

Just to be aware that the accommodation is close to fairly busy roads. But it was fine for our needs.

Suitable for visiting Worth Abbey ..

Would have preferred to be closer to walks and the village.

The welcome was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Comfort was excellent. I would stay here again.

Spacious, nicely furnished and comfortable. The breakfast was better than stated in the details, it was very good.

Absolutely amazing thank you

We had a fabulous time at The Cowdray, the room was lovely, clean, modern, cosy, very comfortable and had everything we wanted and needed! The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Michelle who kindly let our grandson finish off the raspberries at breakfast Lol We had two evening meals and three breakfasts, and we couldn’t fault anything, so delicious! A big thank you to Michelle and all the team, we didn’t want to leave :)

The room was clean and tidy we had everything we needed.(shower= power was the best) The staff were the best ever, nothing was to much trouble..helpful and informative ..always with a smile. I would recommend 100%

Exceptional

Staff on arrival very helpful as we arrived earlier than the check in time but we grapped a drink and some food from their fantastic menu . We were able to get changed for the Wedding we were attending in nearby Highley Manor and the staff organised a taxi for us too. Breakfast was sensational, a lot of choice to suit all tastes. I would highly recommend this B&B and I would definitely stay here again.

Overnight Stay

The room was in an adjacent purpose built building, not attached to the pub. It was very clean with lovely decor, comfortable bed and modern shower room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very enjoyable.

Continental Breakfast which was excellent with an amazing variety of fresh fruit along with everything else you could want in a continental breakfast. Rooms were in a separate which were large and very private

amazing and welcoming.

I can not fault this stay the property was amazing the staff were very helpful. the man and the lady ( sorry didn’t get there names) were very friendly. I will definitely be returning. the breakfast was amazing also
