Perfect Property!

Perfect accommodation for a family group attending a wedding. The 4 en-suite double bedrooms, one on the ground floor, were sparkling clean, comfortable and well equipped with TV, WiFi, hairdryer, toiletries and a fan - needed during our stay. We didn’t miss not having a lounge, we were able to sit in the pleasant yard and in the dining room. Well equipped kitchen with pods for the washing machine and tablets for the dishwasher. Lots of matching crockery and a variety of glasses. Iron and board are stored in the kitchen. Great idea to have the cupboards neatly labelled with the contents. Welcome pack of tea/coffee/sugar, cereals, milk and chilled water was appreciated. Small but adequate food shops within a few minutes walk included an M&S Simply Food and a Tesco Express. A CAMRA rated pub, The Nags Head with a beer garden, is just around the corner and a good range of takeaways close by. The area was quiet at night and the neighbours pleasant. Taxis from the train station charged between £6 - £13 depending on which taxi company we used! Early check in and check outs are possible depending on availability at £10 per hour. Latest check out 14.00. £200 damages deposit is required and was returned very promptly after departure. Photo ID for all occupants required in advance of check in. We enjoyed a comfortable stay which proved to be perfect for our needs and inexpensive compared with hotel rooms. Highly recommended.

The staircase is quite steep and doesn’t have a handrail, we managed but some people need a handrail. It would be nice to have some solar powered fairy light in the yard to add atmosphere in the evening.

A nice place to spend with the family for dinning and shopping at and near the location.

There were supply of milk, coffee, tea, washing balls. Equipment were all new & functionable. Washing machine & dryer were very easy to be operated.

There was no pre-advice but needed all of our adults' photos identidies. I feel the apartment owner received excessive personal information. This could be told to the clients in advance and so clients have choice not to book if they do mind that. Actually I do mind. But at that point., I couldn't cancel the booking despite I nearly wanted to do it! Having said that, the way the owner organized the apartment was in detailed consideration according to the guests' needs. So I will still rate it as good.

Luxury home from home, great time had by all.

Absolutely beautiful place, very clean and comfortable. kitchen had all you needed.

only thing could pick at was the light sensor downstairs, kept going off constantly even when not near. The people staying in room 1 had to put a towel at the bottom of the door to stop them being woken up from the light going on and off.

Excellent Reading house

Really quiet area. Very near to the town centre and railway station. Very nicely decorated. Excellent that all bedrooms were ensuite and all had tvs. Free wifi. Nice outside space

Missing a few things that we expected - no hairdryer in any of the bedrooms which meant we had to buy one. A few more kitchen items would've been good eg scissors, clingfilm, foil, cooking oil. Seemed to be set up for individuals rather than a family as no lounge area so, for us, quite impersonal. These are minor niggles as we enjoyed our stay here.

Modern and had a fresh feel to it.

The thermostat wasn’t working with the radiator in one of the room so we had to turn the heating for the house off. No living room

Excellent property

Beautiful, clean and well maintained house. Very comfortable beds all rooms on suite.

No parking. There was z very secure car park nearby but even with 20% discount it was still £50+ for 4 nights. With each of us having a car this came to a total of over £300.

Great stay, comfortable and clean. Good location to reading festival!

We booked this property to stay in for Reading Festival. It was a great size, and provided us with 4 large bedrooms with en-suites. It was also in a good location for the festival, around a 20-25 minute walk. The property was clean and also had a garden. We had one issue with one of the showers leaking, however the property were quick with responding to the problem.

Only downside to this property was the lack of parking. We used a local carpark (Q Park) which was quite expensive.

Perfect home

Everything about the lodge was nice. We all enjoyed ourselves. The TVs in the bedrooms kept the kids entertained so I could do my work in peace. The kitchen fully equipped with everything

Everything was perfect. Just a shame there was no parking on the street as it was for permit holders only. However there are plenty of carparks dotted around
