A MI CHEMIN SUR LA ROUTE PRICIPALE DE INVERNESS À FORT WILLIAM

Nous avons été accueillis très gentiment par le propriétaire qui nous a présenté le logement et le village. Le logement, indépendant de la maison du propriétaire, est spacieux et clair. Il est situé en retrait de la route principale donc dans une rue sans circulation et calme. Au village, très proche, 3 à 4 minutes en voiture, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour des touristes de passage: supérette, cadeaux et souvenirs, carburant et restaurants.

Remarque qui ne concerne pas la location, mais réelle lors de notre passage: arrivés un dimanche de mi-septembre, un seul restaurant servait le soir alors que les autres étaient ouverts mais ne servaient pas par manque de personnel... La plupart des restaurants n'a rouvert que le mercredi avec une carte succincte (le traditionnel Fish and Chips)

Exceptional

Lovely furnished and decorated lodge, we felt very comfortable! Everything was clean and the communication with the host was super nice. It‘s a great place to stay if you want to make day trips to the highlands.

Nice size, great that it has a full kitchen and washer and dryer.

Was not very clean. Also, no lighting to direct you to house if you are arriving in the dark (there is a small sign that says Tajgh Na Frithe but you can’t see it when it’s dark.

Perfect location within easy walking distance of Fort Augusta via the golf course and canal. spectacular views within a short drive or up the hill at the golf course. property modern and comfortable inside with everything you need. Kyle a very friendly and helpful host

We absoloutely loved this little place. There was 2 of us, and a medium size dog, and plenty of room. Its super clean and we had great hosts! This is perfect for a getaway to this area as its very well placed for a nice walk into fort augustus. Would 100% stay again.

Perfect little retreat

Gorgeous one bedroom apartment/pod. This apartment has everything you need, fully fitted kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living space. Wonderful, considerate and helpful owner. Whilst it is a little bit out of Fort Augustus the walk into town isn't long, there are two options walk on the footpath or walk through the golf course and along the canal.

Lovely lodge that is really well presented and very clean. It was perfect for a weekend away where we could bring along our puppy. The facilities in the lodge for self catering are really good, but Fort Augustus is a 15 minute walk away where there are really nice pubs to enjoy. Would definitely come back again

Cosy and well appointed cabin in a great location for accessing all local attractions

Accommodation well located within an easy walk to village centre and all amenities

Vey noisy extractor fan in bathroom woke up everybody whenever the bathroom light was switched on during the night

The house was clean, comfy bed, great shower. Dishwasher with tablets provided.

The house is new but with a few problems. This was a surprisingly noisy place, from the radiator in the bathroom to the dishwasher and the fan extractor that made the wall vibrate. The heating was not working so the house was cold when we arrived. The owner was aware but he was away and couldn't help much. Luckily the boiler somehow started and we were eventually warm. Bedding visibly stained.

Two day Stay

Clean, well equipped with lots of technology. Off the main road, dog friendly with lots of rabbits to keep dog occupied in the evening.

Privacy lacking, - no curtains across main windows, the net curtains not enough. - no physical barriers between both and main house. - small (1 paving slab wide) sitting out are directly overlooked by main house.

Great location and tiny house

The property was fully equipped, great shower pressure and good internet. Size of the property was perfect. Really enjoyed my stay here, fantastic spot to explore the lochness. Do try the fish and chips shop in the village too .

Large comfortable bed and powerful shower. Peaceful with excellent local walks and further afield

The shower wasn't draining after 1st use but was cleaned the following day after contacting the owners. Could do with curtains/blinds in the living area as the netting does not provide privacy at night from the neighbouring property.
