We had a great time at this house! The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, etc. so that we could cook dinner there both nights. The view is absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for 2 families and the kids loved the bunk room! Jamie was great to work with and was quick to respond to my messages. It is conveniently located by the ski slopes so it was easy for us to ski for the day. We are already discussing staying here again next year!

The view from the house is special - we loved hearing the sounds of crickets and birds in the evenings and watching sunrise. The house was comfortable and practical - appreciated having lots of hooks to hang towels and bags, The kids room with 4 beds and a sofa was perfect for our gang. We had a great stay. And owner was very responsive and easy to work with.

The home is in a good location, has a well-stocked kitchen full of pots,pans, spice and things you might have forgotten not to mention plenty of linens and a cliset full of family games and puzzles and stacks of firewood waiting for your visit. Everyone had a great time and the bunkroim was a huge hit with the grandkids! I can't say enough about how refeeahing the communication was with the owner, always quick to respond and accommodating. The family is definitely looking forward to our next trip. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heavne on earth with us.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had 2 adult couples so the property was perfect for each couple to have privacy & our own bathroom. There was plenty of seating. The stack of firewood outside was great for the chilly evenings. The property was in a convenient location for our winery stops. We would definitely stay at this property again.

The cabin is nicely done,inside and out. There is a 3/4 wrap around deck with a nice sized deck in the back accessible from sliding glass doors and a really nice view of the mountains. The inside is clean and bright with a working fireplace and plenty of seasoned firewood stacked near the house, ready to burn. There were plenty of board games and a hook and ring game we all played a lot because it is right in between the kitchen and den. There were six of us,two grandparents,two parents,and two grandchildren. No one paid much attention to their phones other than taking pictures and recording videos of the family fun. We visited near by Grand Caverns,a brewery,and an orchard/festival. I WOULD rent this space again!

We booked last minute and were very happy with the home. Our 3 sons had their own rooms, plus we took advantage of the fireplace with cooler temps at night even though it was Aug.

Wonderful People
We had such an amazing time in this mountain home! The best part was the kindness of the owners. We had a flat tire late on the last day and asked for a one day extension. Within minutes, the owners replied with a yes. It was a soothing balm when things were a bit crappy with the car. We really appreciated it!

Beautiful View
Easy check in, very clean, and well stocked! Exactly as the listing described, but better :). Super close and walkable to great hiking. We came to hike in the off season over spring break and had a blast with our two kids ages 9 and 6. Amazing views from the house on a great deck. Nice variety of bedrooms and living space.

Great Mountain Stay
We had a great time at the cabin. Easy location to Wintergreen Resort and BEAUTIFUL view. The house had everything needed for a weekend get away. The rooms and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed cooking meals, crackling fires, and gorgeous sun rise views from the living room. Owner communication was A+! Highly recommend!

The lodge was just as described. Sitting by the fire, watching the snow come down over the mountains was amazing. Skiing was a very short drive away.

Spectacular!
Our family stayed in this beautiful house for our Christmas holiday. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. We regularly book VRBO houses for Christmas and this one had it all! We enjoyed that they thought of everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The decor inside was beautiful, the furnishings comfortable, the fireplace cozy and wood ready to be lit, and the sunrise dreamy! Jamie, thank you for sharing this home with our family and for being an extraordinarily gracious host. This was the getaway our family needed. Our 5 year old grandson said “I love our vacation house”.

Beautiful view!
The view from this house can’t be beat — and the sunrises are the best we’ve ever seen!! House is comfy and decorated really cute! Our only complaint is that there wasn’t any place to put our clothes in the master bedroom (closet is locked for owner) and the armoire is full of towels and sheets. We loved the plentiful supply of fire wood and cozy blankets! The owner was super responsive!

Beautiful Views
We spent 4 nights at this wonderful home during our children's fall break from school. The house is tastefully decorated and was a perfect size for our family of 4. The views from both decks are amazing (much better than the photos suggest) and can been seen from the living areas as well as 2 of the upstairs bedrooms.
We found the home to be well appointed with everything we needed while there (i.e. cooking utensils, games, plenty of towels). The Market on the resort is a great little spot to grab any small grocery items you may need and there are several restaurants nearby.

Brief Getaway
Despite the fact that my short stay at the property was rained out and I only caught a glimpse of the spectacular view, I enjoyed the experience. Everything was spotless, the kitchen was well equipped, there were lots of towels and toilet paper (not always a given) and the location was breathtaking. There was great hiking nearby. Also, the internet access and cell phone coverage was really good. I will definitely come back.

This cabin was just perfect for a long weekend getaway. Located on a quiet street with plenty of space and a great view of the mountains and stars. Close enough to town or to Wintergreen market, spa, restaurants without being in the middle of any crowds. Perfect!

Perfect weekend getaway!
We had three families meet up for a weekend getaway to Wintergreen. The house was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed spending time on the deck overlooking the blue ridge mountains. The house hosts were very helpful and responsive. We hope to visit again!

Beautiful mountain home
Beautiful Mountain View’s with lots of hiking, breweries and wineries nearby. The deck was lovely to sit on the the morning and early evening when it was cooler. We had 6 adults and there was just enough space. I wouldn’t recommend more people than that. A few minor things that could have made it better would have been a working coffee maker (the keurig worked but not the other coffee pot); there were lots of cobwebs so we questioned how clean the place was and also lots of burned out light bulbs, especially in the master bedroom and bath. But all in all a great vacation home!

Great Home for a Large Family
This was the perfect home for a large family vacation. We were able to comfortably fit two families. The house was well stocked with what ever we might need. We enjoyed the modern and creative home decor and were extremely impressed with the DIY elements such as the bunk beds that must have been built by the owners in the kids room!

Best Stay on the Mountain!
My family and I love to visit Wintergreen all throughout the year, and we have stayed all over the mountain. This cabin by far has been our absolute favorite. The location is amazing with a breathtaking view. The stars at night on the deck will make you speechless. The cabin is an authentic cabin in the mountains with plenty of room for our family. We had four adults and three teenage boys, and had plenty of room. Jamie was an amazing hostess, and was super responsive to our questions. We hope to stay again at our new favorite place!

Cabin weekend
The cabin was clean and well stocked. The pictures do make it look bigger than it is in person but we made it work. Some of the kitchen supplies could use an upgrade (knives were dull, cooking utensils weren't in great shape, dishwasher easily slide out from cabinet, no disposal). It was cold and rainy while we were there and the fireplace was a lovely feature.

Wonderful Stay!
Traveled as a group of 4 BFFs, seeking a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of busy life. This house was simply perfect for our needs; wonderful location, beautifully decorated, and a view to die for. Comfy beds, too...which is always important!! We made good use of the fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and the deck (oh, the view!!). Breweries, vineyards and hiking very close by. We really enjoyed this lovely home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Thank You, Jamie!

Waller Lodge was the perfect getaway for my family. We loved everything about this place. Our children loved the bunk beds and we all enjoyed the cozy fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with spices and things I needed to cook. The view was beautiful.

Amazing property!
Stayed at this property for a long weekend with friends. The house is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The deck was perfect for enjoying the picture-perfect mountain views and star-gazing. Close to wineries and hiking trails. Would definitely book again.

Cute cottage
We enjoyed the house. The only two things to note are that, though the house can sleep 10, 8 of the people would have to share 1 bathroom. Also, the house is very small, and could not accommodate our family gathering of 13 people for dinner. Other than that, it was very comfortable for 5 adults staying there for the weekend.

We loved the kitchen to work in and the open fire place and lounge kept us enjoying the atmosphere.
