This cabin is tucked away in a scenic spot yet minutes from town. Unfortunately it was raining during our stay but we could still tell that they view off the back deck and the main bedroom were amazin!
The cabin is pretty basic, don't expect anything modern but it was clean and has a fridge and small kitchen area and TV. Heater kept us cozy. Plenty of room for a family although the bathroom is small. Be careful on the back deck railing, it felt a little wobbly. Overall a great place to stay with the best views.

Clean cabin with a great view of the valley. Pre-visit communication with the host was excellent. Host provides booklet in the cabin with helpful information, directions, and services available in the area. Cabin was well-kept.
There’s no kitchen, just a small sink, small fridge, a tabletop propane grill and a hot plate.
It’s exactly what we needed and we were thrilled with the views of the valley from the deck and bedroom.

We loved this place with a view of Denali, which took a day for the weather and clouds to cooperate so we could see the whole range, but it was worth it! Lots of bedroom space, great deck to hang out on, and we didn’t encounter any bugs at all even though we were prepared. Mirrors in the bedroom would have been good so more than one person could get ready at a time. Would definitely stay again!

This property did not disappoint! This charming cabin was in a perfect location back from the road. It was quiet and had the most beautiful view from the deck and the large picture window in the upstairs bedroom. Perfect for two to three people comfortably. We loved it so much and will be back soon!

Whitney is an incredible host, she made us feel comfortable and the cottage has incredible views of denali. We were a family of 4 and had a great time in the cottage. Definitely recommended if you want to visit talkateena and nearby areas!

Loved this rental! The views were amazing, the beds were comfy and it had what you needed for a pleasant stay. There is only a kitchenette so cooking large meals isn’t possible but Talkeetna is less than 10 minutes away with plenty of dining options. Definitely don’t pass this one up if you want something in the Denali area.

Great views on clear day and very nice location close to Talkeetna. Very quiet and beds were comfortable. The amenities were basic and photos very accurate. We had a visit from a baby moose while on the deck and enjoyed our few days at this location.

We stayed in the cabin for 3 days and enjoyed it.
Overall, a good accommodation but dated furnishing and equipment. The kitchenette had only a single mobile cooking stove with took long time to get water boiling.
Info provided by host inside the cabin regarding local restaurants etc is also dated (mainly between 2012 - 2014).

My husband and I had a great stay at the cabin! We loved the deck and enjoyed time sitting outside and admiring the views. The cabin was wonderful (the Scrabble board game was a plus!!). We would love to stay again next time we’re in Alaska :)

Pros -- the view! This property has a deck with an amazing view and is not far from the main square in Talkeetna and other attractions such as ski resorts and the 7 Glaciers restaurant.
Cons -- Be prepared for a rustic experience in a cabin with well water, and low water pressure. The cabin is attractive but there is limited seating in the living room with a very uncomfortable futon and the mattresses are adequate. This is a fine setting if you are doing lots of activities.

Nice, clean property. I'm glad we stayed in summer with our little sedan. You would need better in the winter. The view is worth it. My downstairs bed was very firm, but fine.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the beautiful rear balcony views. The cabin was well-equipped, very clean & all of the furnishings were very comfortable. We appreciated having fans available in both the upstairs bedrooms. Thank you! Great location. Would stay again, if ever we return to the area.

Spent four nights in this lovely cabin, but a lot of our time was spent exploring the beautiful state of Alaska. The town of Talkeetna is close by and offers great local/small business shopping and dining. We also did a Chulitna River Cruise with Mahay, which was a great time and more beautiful views. Did a little fishing on Christiansen Lake, which was about five minutes away, and saw lots of families swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. This cabin in Talkeetna was perfect for our family and Whitney was easy to work with and very gracious!

The Denali views alone would give this place a 5 star review, but the adorable cabin, comfortable beds and super helpful host made this stay even better. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin was very nice and was just as described in the listing. It would be a great place at a different time of year, but in mid June it is impossible to go outside because of the mosquitoes. you are not even able to get into your car without being swarmed and a half dozen little critters following you in.

We had a great one night stay in the cabin and loved it! Whitney was a great host, checked in on us, and took the time to explain the mountains and peaks we were seeing off the porch. The queen bedroom and the living spaces have beautiful views of the Alaskan Range and we got lucky to see Denali.. the downside Roberge beautiful views on a sunny day was the heat radiating through the picture windows. Fans helped, but I can imagine it getting hot later in the summer.. definitely keep the blinds drawn when not admiring the view! The one shower was sufficient for the five of us, but the pressure was fairly weak making it tricky to wash long hair! It’s an adventurous drive up to the cabin, but completely worth it and still only ten minutes from town.. we would absolutely rent again 😊
