Location

The Kadenwood neighbourhood is perched on the south side of Whistler Mountain, high above Whistler Creekside, and is easily accessible by road or 4 minutes by private gondola from the base of Creekside. Kadenwood provides easy access to ski-in/ski-out trails on the edge of an old-growth forest and offers astounding Coastal Range views.

Kadenwood Gondola

All Kadenwood guests have access to a private gondola. This will take you on a 4-minute ride to the Creekside Village, leading to shops, restaurants, a grocery store, and the Creekside Gondola for slope access. A small parking area at the top of Kadenwood Gondola makes transporting people and sports equipment very easy and convenient. It takes a 15-minute walk or 3 minutes to drive to reach the gondola from this property. View gondola operating hours here.

Ski Information

Ski-out access is near this home. Taking a left from the property and walking for 1 minute will lead you to an access trail between houses 2930 and 2934. This leads to the 'Lower Peak to Creek' run that ends at the Creekside Gondola. The access trail is narrow and more suited for intermediate skiers. For beginners, we recommend taking the 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive to the Kadenwood Gondola and making your way to Creekside.
Ski-in to the same access point between houses 2930 + 2934 by taking the 'Upper Kadenwood', 'Big Timber', or 'Home Run' trails and following the signposts towards 'Heritage Peaks Trail'.

Ski-in ski-out access is dependent on weather conditions and snowfall. Ski access typically begins in late December and ends in March. The Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.

Things to know

• Construction. As one of the newer neighborhoods in Whistler, Kadenwood has several homes that remain under construction. Construction is typically active from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but is permitted from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Guests may experience construction noise from machinery, cranes, other construction-related vehicles, and workers. During the summer months, we include a construction discount at the time of booking as compensation for any disturbances guests may experience. We won't offer additional compensation for construction disturbances. We're sorry for any inconvenience.
• No air conditioning. Fans are supplied for all bedrooms
• Strictly no parties or events. To respect our neighbors, we have a strict no-party policy in this home
• Quiet hours. Whistler municipal bylaw states that quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am
• No smoking on the premises. This includes patios, decks, and hot tubs
• Not pet-friendly. No pets are permitted in this home

Wonderful Whistler Escape
The home was everything we hoped it would be. With Whistler operating under Covid 19 protocols, Whistler Platinum was organized, friendly and had sensible procedures in place. Everything went flawlessly. The bike park staff were well trained, friendly and above all patient. It will be awkward and challenging in some stores and restaurants but that is a small inconvenience if you are luck enough to enjoy Whistler this summer.
