Very poor, and no value for money.

Room conditions are really poor, bathrooms all leaking. Not even towels provided in the bathroom to wipe floor. Aircorns not working Beds and very bad shape - deems over used.

All those mentioned above.

Reasonable option in Honiara

Lobby and restaurant design and cultural features. Room a decent size, good screens on windows and aircon. Staff friendly and helpful. Wifi okay. Conference facilities and catering good.

Problems with hot water although not really necessary given weather so warm, and colleagues had no issues in their rooms. Pool not very appealing.

I am a regular customer and it’s nice to there with friendly service.

Last minute booking Room organised before you get there. Very efficient. Poolside is gorgeous for a swim.

I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Breakfast was good. I had a bowl of fruit which was very good.

I would have liked a warm/ hot shower. Also some information about things to see and do in Honiara.

Pleasant

The room was decently comfortable, but the shower hardly had any water coming thru coz it was so clogged up. The AC also didn't cool properly and needs to be serviced I think

Advertised as a 4-star but clearly a 2.5 star hotel.

Good AC and cold refrigerator. Room was large.

No WiFi in rooms. Very worn rooms. Towels had holes and were worn. WiFi was only available in reception area, was weak, and rarely had connection (but reception at other local hotels was fine).

It was a pleasant and good stay.

The rooms are nicely placed in the steps of the hells. You could see a far but good view of the sea. It is all green and nicely decorated with flowers and trees around.

It was noisy at night especially on Friday and Saturday nights due to the high music in the lobby and nearby dance club. Sometimes you hear Dogs barking in the night.

Frustrating place to stay for the first time

The rooms were cleaned on time

Leaking taps, cold showers, confusion on allocating rooms to guests, I had a guest opening my room and I was really angry about that, pizza took 2 hours to be cooked and was so tasteless, Friday night parties ended at 2am which was not considerate of the guests, I had 2 days of my room not cleaned as key was misplaced which was pathetic

Highly recommended

Such lovely people. Nice room .lovely pool. Delicious pizza. Hula dancing on Fridays. Fascinating market. The funicular was fun. Highly recommend.

Very good

The rustic feel and the unique layout. The staff were friendly as well. Room was a little dated, and the price reflects it, despite that, it was comfortable, and I had no trouble sleeping. The views from the balcony (especially during sunrise) were beautiful. I'd definitely stay here again if I get a chance to visit in the future.

A unique and colorful place more than offsets the obvious need for improvements

A unique and colorful place. A Polynesian theme with thatched roof and lots of carvings. It also has the unique feature of a cable car to connect the lobby to the rooms.Not a lot of places to eat nearby so I ate at the hotel for most of my meals and the food was good.

While the main part of the hotel was excellent, the rooms need a lot of work. The phones weren’t working, the A/C was poor, the bathrooms were very worn, there were a number of poorly patched places on the walls, etc.

Mostly good, value for money

Clean room, cool temperature and comfortable bed

I had no water a couple of times when the pumps working. I also had to wait an hour and a half for my pizza I ordered. When I gently reminded the waiter about it, she acted like she didn’t care. I was surprised to receive no explanation or apology.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Friendly staff

The bathroom was horrible. The hand basin taps & the shower constantly dripped all night...it was torture to listen to. The bed was uncomfortable. The room was noisy. I was booked for another night but chose to relocate to another hotel. The cable car was mainly out of service.

decent location

the stairs are insane and the tram frequently didn’t work. wifi only available in lobby area and was very temperamental where it was available. breakfast was average and coffee was poor. plenty of other options nearby though. oh and the pool area barely resembles the marketing pictures

There is no free breakfast - even if your invoice/reseravtion says there is.

The cable car, though agonizingly slow, still works and lends the place a bit of charm.

When I made the reservation on Booking.com - it stated: Free Breakfast. I did not get Free Breakfast, despite showing them my reservation and invoice. Without that, I would not have stayed there. It is old and tired and not well maintained. I had hot water 6 out of 11 days. The door doesn't lock properly and cold be forced open. I carried all valuables with me at all times and never left anything in the room of value.

the listing says it’s 4 star hotel but doesn’t deserve more than 2 stars. it’s very basic hotel. i booked with breakfast but there was none. loud music and terrible food quality.

the place is run down, and the Booking.com description is certainly inaccurate

inaccurate offer through Booking.com. please note that breakfast was not offered. and there was no wifi. it was very noisy at night with loud music. and on the last day there was no water for all guests

Really nice hotel

My favorite part was riding in a cable car. This hotel has a cable car that takes you into your room!! How cool is that 😀 Rooms are spacious, comfortable bed, hot water shower, ac, hbo on tv, super nice stuff, bar & restaurant to meet more people, happy ambiance, good pool. I really enjoyed my stay and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Honiara.
