Perfect for a simple 1-night stay

Rich breakfast with fruit

Belltower tolling every 15mins... Not the owner's fault :-) The other guests could be more respectful... But you can't choose them!

Great decoration and location.

The place is in a lively street in Eglisau, with restaurants and shops. Additionally, the flat is exquisitely decorated, and the staff is very helpful. You can help yourself with a glass of milk or a yoghurt at any time, and breakfast is great.

There was not much to be disliked.

A nice room in a nice appartment

The hostess, a really nice lady. A good breakfast and a nice and clean appartment in the heart of the old town of Eglisau, literally two steps from the river... where you can have a good swim.

Sharing a bathroom with others guests may be a bit unpleasent sometimes. But this has nothing to do with the house or the hostess, but more of the guests... some forget that they are not the only ones using the bathroom.

The location was amazing. Garage for bikes was nice.

It's basically an normal apartment with individual rooms rented. The shower is inside a bathtub. The soap and shampoo were empty bottles, and they don't leave much toilet paper rolls available.

A Steal for a Wonderful Stay in Switzerland!

Linda was the perfect host! The apartment is beautiful and we had everything we could have asked for and more- a comfortable bed, a safe place in the garage to store our bicycles, wine and beer to purchase, a hot shower, all the tea, coffee, and fruit we wanted. The apartment has very nice common areas to cook and relax. Linda had great stories to tell and even let us weary, wet cyclists do a load of laundry across the hall. Breakfast very large. We couldn’t have asked for more!

People in previous reviews complained about the church bells. They rang at 19:00 for about twenty minutes and were the loudest and most glorious sound I’ve ever heard. After that, they quieted way down and we barely heard them, even with the windows wide open on a warm summer night. I heard them in my dreams, and it was very nice.

A random selection but good surprise

Very good location, steps away from Rhein river. Nice little town with beautiful sightseeing. That was our last minute random decision to stay there but ended up good. We checked in very late because of traffic on the way, but the owner was very nice and came to open the door for us, arrange things for us and had a really nice chatting. Everything is clean and room is small but cozy. Shared bathrooms and living room, dining area are all very clean and things are well organized. The whole setting makes us feel home. Breakfast is absolutely great. You have everting you need as a typical western style of breakfast.

The church nearby ring the bell every hour even in the night ...lol... we used to let window open when we were sleeping so the ringing was bit annoying but after closing the window it was better.
