Exceptional ! Our Host was wonderful, very caring and knowledgeable as well as being available 100%

It was absolutely fine, everything you needed was there!

We experienced not only the great history of Norfolk, but visited some very nice restaurants, only thing is you must be very careful coming back to your Cottage at nite, as the roads, and lack of lighting into the property is a little concern. We managed very well, but someone who didn't like the drive in. Would need to be very careful, otherwise not a problem.

Very clean, restful place to stay in Norfolk Island

Apartment was very well appointed and very clean. We were met at the airport and the tour around the island from Ariane was most helpful. The hire car was an excellent 4WD - which is included in the booking. Apartment is located in a quiet location, with very nice views from the cliff tops. Great place to relax and use as a base to enjoy the island. Host checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed.

A very pleasant relaxing week. Great facilities.

Having been in retail business AND early days in tourism (SCUBA school and charter boat on Gold Coast) we tried to "exceed expectations" ... over deliver rather than under-deliver. Breakfast could have done with a second alternative cereal, some fruit, and tomatoes, a packet of biscuits to have with tea or coffee?.. all of which we scouted around and bought.We found out about the "Farmers Market" on the day we left. Secondly, on the mid-week "Clean & fresh towels" perhaps the above items could have been "topped up"... all of this is minimal cost. Perhaps a call the next morning after the first night would sort out any minor problems? We had no Foxtel control and were still uncertain on phone operation.

Whilst understanding that Ariane was away, and maybe Brad was under there pump, but the following are general comments. A bottle of wine in the frig. Maybe some flowers on the table (Hibiscus?).A bowl of fruit. A small box of chocolates .None of these are big ticket items but help make a visitor really feel welcome. Overall, it was well-done but a few minor touches can be a big bonus.

Walks, history and beauty.

The beauty of the location. Facilities provided gave you options to dine in.

No reflection on the premises, but I could not connect to the Wifi.

Loved the place with an exceptional view over Cascade Bay from the high cliff.

Breakfast included white bread, butter, honey, guava jam, eggs, cereal and a selection of teas and coffee pods. Tv went through Foxtel which gave a lot of options and the Wi-Fi worked well for phone calls and internet connection. Big comfortable bed and huge shower with plenty of hot water. The road in is a narrow dirt track with lots of potholes which the X Trail, which was part of the deal, handled no problems and made you feel kind of adventurous.

Perhaps send a list of possible breakfast products so there is no waste. Then guests can choose.

Fabulous ocean view clifftop cabin with EVERYTHING!!!!

The cabin was sooo quiet and spotless. A super comfy bed and everything you could possibly need was there, plus a great view.We even had a breakfast basket which was huge!!Also a mobile phone for local calls.

Nothing really. It was wonderful. The only possible things was foil/gladwrap and a plastic cutting board for meat. The road in was challenging but all roads on the Island are for us Aussies:)) Nothing else ,it was great!

Comfortable accommodation with ocean views

The location overlooking the ocean and Cascade Pier was superb with just a 7-8 minute drive to both the township and the Kingston historical area. Breakfast consisted of a breakfast basket to last the 7 days - adequate but nothing out of the ordinary. We found the bed extremely comfortable and liked the big bathrooms.

We had issues with the TV and Foxtel but that seems to be normal for the Island. Didn't bother us much as we weren't there to watch TV!

Wonderful holliday and fabulous hosts

Ariane met us at the airport with our car and drove us to the cottage. On the way she pointed out some of the island's attractions, restaurants and facilities. The cottage was very clean and extemely well appointed in a beautiful forest setting with breathtaking views over the clifftop out to sea. Ariane also provided a local mobile phone for use while we were there. And when we decided to extend our stay, she was extemely helpful in accommodating us. Would highly recommend.

Forrester Court Cliff Top Cottage was sensational.

Continental breakfast was an initial basket of food. Well provided for and shops in town were easy to access. The view was spectacular. Cliff Top Cottage was anything one needed for a restful stay. Ariane was the perfect hostess. In retrospect, should have gone to the High Tea that Ariane and Forrester Court does. It looks spectacular. Trouble was, we were looking for a nice rest and this was certainly achieved in spades.

I would not have liked to arrive expecting to play tennis. Unfair comment really as we did not bring racquets or expect to play tennis, but the lawn court was in need of attention.

Great experience

Our host Ariane was fantastic. Very helpful, gave us a lovely tour around town on our first day pointing out things to do and where to go. The Cottage was very roomy and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful with a lovely spot on the cliff top with an amazing view of the water to enjoy an afternoon drink. A great place to unwind!

Best place to relax

The location is secluded and private. Beautiful views. Host vas very helpful when I fell over some slippery steps. She drove with me to the hospital organised an excellent osteopath to treat me on the day. She also brought me books and ice packs.
