The house was beautiful and the setting was lovely. We spent several days with three adults, four kids, and two dogs. Everyone enjoyed the house and location!
The beds and furniture are on the older side and the lack of any curtains in the upstairs bedroom had all the kids rising with the sun. It was a beautiful place to spend a quiet morning, but some curtains would have been nice…

This house had some of the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in. So uncomfortable that we left several days early. The warning on the fireplace saying that it leaked and that smoke would come in the house was a little alarming as well, especially when the power went out (unavoidable in a nor’easter) and the temps were quite low. The house is beautiful and one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in, the views spectacular, and the game room was the favorite spot for my husband and children. Had we all been able to get comfortable sleep this would have been a great experience.

Me and my husband live this cabin, the location and view!! Also love the fact that it is very dog friendly! Rated 4 stars this time because the beautiful in home stone fireplace was out of order and that was not disclosed to us before renting / arriving. The fireplace to us is a huge part of our enjoyment so it was pretty disappointing to arrive to a broken damper. Also vacasa provided the incorrect lockbox code so I had to call to get the correct one and finally Wi-Fi was not working. After scouting around the house for 1 day we located the router in the basement connected to a non working power outlet. We reconnected it to a working outlet and network was activated. We still love this place and would recommend but a bit bumpy this last visit. Will def check if fireplace is working for our next visit.

We had a wonderful time here from start to finish. It's a spacious and comfortable home located in the forest with a spectacular view of the nearby mountains. Clean and modern, full of character. Definitely a place to return to.

The property itself was wonderful. Just as described; very clean and very well appointed. The bonus was the beautiful views of the mountains.
The management company, Vacasa, was NOT responsive and tarnished the experience. They were virtually uncommunicative which was very frustrating.

My partner, in-laws, 2 dogs, and myself had a wonderful stay at the Eaglet Log Home. We were welcomed by an incredible view of some of the White Mountains finest peaks the day we drove up, and throughout the stay. No problem with directions or getting into the house. We used the kitchen to make breakfast (eggs, toast, coffee). All amenities we needed to cook and clean the dishes were provided. Wood was available for the fireplace a quick walk from the back door. One bathroom worked for our group of 4, no problem with hot water/toilet. The dogs had a blast in the secluded backyard, no neighbors in sight.

Never ever fails to provide a great time! From the spacious and well equipped kitten to the awesome stone fireplace to the charm of the logs to the views and outdoor firepit. This place rocks! Hope they never stop renting and sharing this wonderful cabin.

Franconia getaway
We had a wonderful summer getaway at this cabin in Franconia. It was remote And private but not too far from plenty of outdoor activities and restaurants. The views were amazing! We had fires every day and the yard was a perfect area for our 2 year old to run around. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location
Spent the 4th of July weekend with out 2 kids and pup in this cabin and had a great time. Very close to outdoor activities (hiking and biking) and very relaxing and quiet when we spent time at the cabin.

This was our third time renting the Eaglet, we think It is perfect for our weekend getaway. You have privacy in a beautiful log home in the woods. The views are amazing and the house is so cozy and comfortable for all of us. Looking forward to going again next year!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin in Franconia. The cabin was very clean, we had a ton of fun playing in the snow and enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee looking at the view of the mountains and the beautiful pine forest that surrounds the cabin. Would highly recommend this location!

Absolutely Loved It
We rented out the cabin home for our chapter retreat and it was an amazing experience. Even though we traveled through an unexpected snow storm to get there, it was worth it! We had some trouble getting the fire started for the heat due to the wetness of the logs and the property maintenance man was there to help in no time. It was cozy, it was spacious, the view was amazing and the snow on the hills looked like something out of a movie. The only thing I hated about this place was the 1 bathroom. For a group of 8 women, 2 bathrooms are a must lol. We would recommend coming here and we look forward to returning soon!

The property looks so good in the photos that you suspect it’s just good photography and that the reality will be less impressive. Not so. It’s exactly like the photos.
We had everything we needed and more. We were warm thanks to the open fire and wood fired furnace. There was TV and board games and pool.

Dave and Michelle were the best! When the lights went out on Tuesday 10/22/19 evening for about 4 hours, Michelle came by right away with 2 flashlights and 2 lanterns. This was the 2nd time being at the cabin. I was there in February 2017, the manager at that time was Cort Roussel from Franconia Notch Vacations Rental & Realty. I felt at that time that Cort wasn’t as accommodating!!! It seemed that he was not interested in his job!!!

Fall Leaf Show in White Mountains in the Perfect Cabin Home
The title says it all. We loved the home and the area. My only comment for improvement would be to leave very simple step by step instructions next to the wood burning furnace. It was easy to operate once we figured it out, but if you have never used one before it could be tricky to use.

A Beautiful, Cozy, Oversize-Log House in the Woods!
Beautiful cozy log house in a remote area of the White Mountains of New Hampshire! Comfortable and warm furnishings that welcome you the moment you walk in the door. The large bathroom shower with river rock floor always had excellent water pressure and nice hot water. A full kitchen of amenities to make you feel like a chef at home; gas stove/oven, full refrigerator, coffee maker, cookware, dishes and utensils. There's even a big beautiful fireplace that the owner keeps stocked with timber for a warm cozy fire. The house is built with oversized logs; making the interior peacefully quiet with plenty of windows all around to view beautiful sun rises and sun sets over the mountain landscape. There is even an outdoor fire pit, gas grill and a solid log picnic bench in the backyard while you enjoy the sweet smell of natural balsam in the air. Downstairs there is a full washing machine and clothes dryer, a billiards (pool) table (that converts to a ping pong table), a foosball table and many board games to bring family and friends together on those unexpected rainy vacation days. There are a few single and double beds (one a bunk bed) in the upstairs bedroom and loft. A fold-out sofa bed and a larger bed in the master bedroom downstairs. The whole house was so well equipped, it often felt more like a second home rather than a time share, hotel or most other rental properties.
