Per prima cosa i padroni, Leopoldo e la sua meravigliosa Signora, un appartamento meraviglioso con una vista spettacolare sul mare…. Un infinito tra mare e cielo ….

Well planned apartment with amazing sea view

A lovely residence with a beautiful sea view in a quiet area. Clean, spacious, modern and well planned apartment. Would recommend a car since the buses are scarce and often full (at least high season). The hosts are super friendly and helpful!! We look forward to the next visit!

Difficult to move around only relying on the bus service (high season).

Amazing location, wonderful hosts and would highly recommend. Leo and Ida are exceptional hosts.

The property location was ideal for our family with excellent facilities and stunning views over the ocean. Furore is approx 7KM from Amalfi town, so transport is essential, however the local Sita bus service was somewhat unreliable. Leo, the host however, was always at hand, nothing was too much trouble and he was always available to help with transporting us to Amalfi, where you can utilise the superb ferry service to all areas of the Amalfi coast. The Zaffiro apartment at Residence Calipso is exceptional when it comes to cleanliness and facilities. The beds are comfortable and the location is quiet, so a good nights sleep is assurred. Believe me you need it after all the walking and exploring of this stunning coast! You can sit on the wonderful shared terrace and enjoy a Limoncello Spritz cocktail, made with the lovely bottle of prosecco gifted to us by Leo and Ida; we also enjoyed a few lemons from Leo's tree in his garden and made a superb lemon pasta dish for dinner! We used Residence Calipso as a lovely base from which to explore the Amalfi coast with trips to Capri, Positano, Atrani, Ravello, the Path of the Gods and Pompeii. It was always nice to get back to the comfort of our apartment and relax on the balcony or terrace.

The local public transport was appalling. Make sure you arrange your transport to Amalfi, and you are set to enjoy your stay at the Residence Calipso.

Superb

Scenery outstanding. The friendly owner didn't speak English at all.

The first couple of nights could. No preheating. Coffee maker takes time to filter. Could use some more pottery and cutlery. No glasses for prosecco. No sockets beside bed.

Beautiful place and location. The owners are really helpful.

The apartment was beautiful and the view from the terrace was amazing. Leopoldo and his family was really helpful in everything. We would really recommend this place!

You need to rent a car or scoorer to get around Amalfi

Very peaceful and comfortable place to stay a couple of days.

Wonderful apartment with an amazing view from the terrace; very spacious and well equipped, perfect for a family of 4. Watching the sunset from the balcony with a glass of wine was marvelous!😊 The hosts were very communicative and friendly.

The place is quite isolated; you need to walk along a busy road to reach a shop or a restaurant.

This place is amazing. Great apartment with even better views from the balcony. Located in a very peaceful and quiet area which was a big bonus. Leo was very helpful and a great host overall.

The location of the property was a bit of an issue as it was far from the ‘touristy’ places like Amalfi and Positano. Therefore I would definitely recommend renting a car or scooter as the these places are not very accessible by foot and the buses are always busy no matter what time. Taxi’s are also very overpriced.

Great apartments with stunning views

The view from the apartment terrace is amazing. The terrace has a table where you can enjoy your breakfast with stunning views and sunbeds in case you want to enjoy the sun. Also, the apartment is recently renovated, very nice, modern and it is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and it has even a dishwasher and an electric oven. The bathroom is very nice, modern, big and clean and it has also a washing machine.

Just an amazing place to stay! The views are breathtaking.

The location is perfect if you rent a bike or a moped for your stay. It will make your life a lot easier. Public transport is a bit wonky and not reliable at all.

Furore paradise.

Everything was perfect,amazing view, beautiful apartment,great location close to bus station,few nice restaurants around. Leopoldo and wife very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend that apartment.

Exceptional

Amazing apartment, the view is just breathtaking. Only 15mis by car from amalfi, and there is a bus stop just next to the appartement. Leopoldo the host is a very very kind man, he helped us a lot and drove us to amalfi because we missed the bus. This is such a nice place so just take it without hesitation. Nothing to complain about.

Excellent and perfectly equipped. Great location and a starting point for trips around Amalfi. The view is breathtaking. We had lots of privacy from other tourists. The host is so friendly and makes you feel like a family member, goes beyond any standard of hospitality <3

We were sorry to find out that only one bedroom had a sea view, otherwise it's all perfect.

absolutely quiet and far away from the crowds, nice decoration, very clean and agreeable - and the absolutely splendid views from the terrace, just awesome!

not a major issue, but the bed was extremely soft and one single matress, so that every movement of one person was noticed by the other

We loved Calipso apartment and specially Leopoldo and Ida, they are amazing hosts.

We loved the amenities, the hospitality of Leopoldo and Ida, the view from the balcony and the parking, which was very close and big compared to others here in Amalfi coast.

The table on the balcony was a bit wobbly and we would need maybe a few more kitchen utensils.. wifi could also be better, it almost didn't work in kitchen.
