Fine for the price but the vibe is weird.

The pool was nice and a fairly big draw card over all. The location was good, close to loads of good places to eat at drink. The staff in reception were helpful and friendly. Same with the bar tenders, especially the girl who works in the sky bar.

One of the beds in our room was broken, so the mattress didn’t lay flat, leaving for an uncomfortable sleep. The shower head was the large waterfall kind, but no water came out from the actual water holes, so it just kind of poured out the top of the head in one thick stream like a hose, and then didn’t drain properly. The music played at the bar starts early, like 9am, and goes until 11pm, and if your room is on the lower level it’s going to be blasting in the whole time… and the playlist RARELY changes. Also, the guy who works there who takes people out on tours, had a real weird vibe and kept looking at us like we’d annoyed him, it was super strange. It wasn’t very inviting.

Je n’ai rien aimé

Je n’ai pas dormis pendant 2 nuit j’ai demander une chambre au calme on me donne une chambre au rdc sur la piscine avec le bar et bruit jusqu’à 1-2 h du matin musique, gens qui parlent etc… les dortoirs eux sont de l’autre coter de la route et donc aucun bruit mais pas les chambres privés! Odeur dégoût deguelasse dans la SDB et propreté très sommaire.

What a great stay we had! Fun loving, party vibe in hostel. Room was comfy, all the staff were very friendly, good location and lovely pool. Would stay again!

Really enjoyable!

Really enjoyed our stay here - we even ended up extending! The staff were very welcoming and helpful - they always made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The hostel offered multiple different tours which were good value for money. Would highly recommend staying here if you enjoy a social vibe 😊

The location is good and staff is accomodating.

The hostel keep the air conditioning off from 1 p.m to 7p.m during the time when it's very hot which makes no sense. There is only one female bathroom on the whole floor so if it's fully packed it's diffcult to use washroom bit most of time it's not fully booked so it's fine.

Great place for socializing

There were multiple group activities planned every day that you could join. The staff was very welcoming and informative.

Our dorm specifically didn’t have an curtains, which meant a lack of privacy.

watch out your belongings

I left something when checking out and few hours later it was gone. stuff told me nothing was found but very doubtful I recommend not housekeeper clean your room while staying as they may steal your belonging

I had a lots of fun at here . Meet up great people and staff will help you . Dorm is clean and bed is comfy. Join Funky pub crawl was fun. Cheap price if you extend stay with reception. Foods are delicious. location isn't far away from center 4 minutes to night market and pub street.

terrible. shut it down

terrible is the only word. manager was more interesting in giving out t-shirts for free and other staff played on their phones. apparently owners were away. they were up with loud music until 5.30am so I got no sleep. I tried contacting the reception with no luck along with finding another place to stay. and upon checking out they didn’t care one bit about it so I assume this was normal. this place needs to close or get new management as it was a joke. as for the room, the bathroom fixtures leaked everywhere and the floor flooded. the bed was awful

Would recommend !!!!

Great facilities, very friendly staff , nice pool and bar , Cheap drinks cocktails & beer ( Happy hour ). You can meet easily people. Excellent local and western food. The room was spacious and clean , there has air con and fan. The sunset tour organised by the hostel was sooo much fun ( countryside kids and reality of people ). Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at .

Great Hostel

100% recommend for solo travelers , Great atmosphere , Very easy to meet people , Super fun pub crawl, sunset tour , Karaoke night and more activities. Big swimming pool , delicious foods ( western & local ) . Good value for the money . Location is close to pub street and night market 5 to 6 minutes walk . Everyday happy hour cocktails & Beer .

Great Place to stay

Perfect location, very close to the night market and pub street . Staff are friendly and different activities to do on each day . We can extend stay directly with reception with good price . Great place to meet people. Hostel sunset tour was my favorite. Definitely come back and recommend to any travelers.

Terrible. Only good for shoe string budgets or people with no money.

The female check in staff are very friendly and understanding and will facilitate your needs.

Male check in staff late afternoon and at night have poor English, don't smile, are unwelcoming and checked me in, took my money, then decided they can't check me in because it's past midnight. After 1 hour, I got into a bed that rattled if you even breathe. Music is loud so you can't sleep, keys to door doesn't work so anyone can walk in, and it's essentially full of 18 year old gap year students with no money. Pay extra and say elsewhere. Garden village has a pool and has much better vibes.

Rude staff , especially Kompheak. Horrible person to speak to. Wouldn't let me check in for no reason, even though I stay here all the time. Dirty toilets, dirty pool. Don't stay.

My stay was very good, Sean and the other volunteers were very helpful making the experience ten fold better.

The pool was amazing and had great pool games to play with the reps. The dorms were very clean along with the toilets. There was always live sports playing in the bar and sky bar which has massive televisions and projectors.

COME to Funky Village

It is a party hostel. so music is expected and you can be a Dj for a night. But people doing karaoke at 1AM is not the best way to end a day of visiting temples.

Pool was a great hangout spot, and sky bar where there is 2 pool tables and 1 ping pong. I would recommend this place.

Dope place to stay on a budget with great surroundings. Main area of Siem Reap walking distances from everything

opportunity to meet people from all over. share stories while chilling on a swing bed table which this hostel has on every floor.

Could get a little load, but can’t hate you kind of signed up for it.

The beds in dorms do not have curtains. I was woken up by staff telling me I was in the wrong bed, when I was in the correct one.

Perfect time there, even better than expected !

This place is perfect to meet people from different ages and horizons! Good music, good food, lovely staff , activities, everything to have a great time in Siem Reap!
