Exceptional

If Call me by your name would have been shot in Amalfi, they would have probably picked this house. The view is breathtaking, absolutely stunning. Nothing beats taking a shower or a bath in the morning and looking at the deep blue sea from a little white wooden window. I highly recommend taking the room with the terrace, the night sky is beautiful from there (there's very little light pollution at night) and in the morning you can see all the coastal line up to Positano.

Pricy for the property but location is good

Perfect view on the sea Self check in Clean Welcoming staff It’s a Villa and you rent the room but There is a big setting area with kitchen

Not easily accessible, no signs or clear directions, photo map was communicated in the very last moment The bed is uncomfortable, I woke up with back pain. Limited car parking

Cozy space. Lovely, clean, great views. Barbara is one of the greatest hosts. She looked after us very well. She even helped us with transfers from the port to the apartment with just a small and reasonable fee.

Quite a bit away from the town but there’s a bus stop right in front of the propert and easily accessible with scooter or a car.

My favourite place - ive ever stayed

My stay with Barbara was magical - not only was my apartment the perfect space, with a view where the sky and the sea connected (incredible) but it was also so perfectly idilic for rest and only 10 mins from the main town. The space was quiet and the bed was incredibly comfortable - the whole apartment was gorgeous. I actually enjoyed my stay so much that I asked Barbara if I could stay an additional night. I travel alot and one thing that needs to be said, is that Barbara is possibly one of the sweetest people on this planet, she was always on hand - even long before I arrived - helping with routes/advice/places to visit and even down to the buses I might need to take. I can't recommend this place enough!!!!

Perfect spot to unplugged yourself from wherever you come from ❤️

The whole place was Magical, cozy and with the whole local vibes. Perfect for meditation, connect with your self, breath, connect with such amazing view (really, never saw such an incredible view in my life before and I come from Caribbean Sea) simply no words. Ms Barbara was the best, what a kind and lovely lady, she treat us with love, the breakfast was accurate, she was always cared about how did we feel not only in the hotel but also in the Amalfi Coast by giving us the best advices to visit and how to. please, consider to stay here, from our site; it’s our for sure place to go back to Amalfi. Location is perfect regarding its in between cities like Amalfi and Positano. We had car and we could park for free in the area, so we could move easily from there to everywhere in Amalfi, including Ravello too. the room? PERFECT, we took the one with terrace and was like a whole flat for us haha. The clean was simply perfect, Ms Barbara cared every small detail of it and was kind and lovely as I mentioned before. Please, just book here ❤️☀️

Very sweet owner, place was in a nice neighborhood. the room walls were really thin and could everything

it was in a nice quiet neighborhood with a nice view. on the sea. Owner was really sweet and helpful.

We did not have hot water in the shower and you could hear all the other guests. Woken up multible times. Our room had a connecting room which was locked, but there were also other guests, who were really loud. I mean we could hear them having sex - not just hear, you had a pretty good idea who did what and what position.

Great alternative up and away from tourists towns.

The view is everything. Parking in front (down a few sers of stairs) is a bonus along the Amalfi coast. Access to kitchen facilities and terrace with stunning view.

I will definetely reccomed stay @Barbara’s and will stay again if life allows me to come back to Amalfi.

Casa Barbara is very peaceful place, not far from Amalfi and/or Positano. It offers an stunning view from the balcony as it is shown on the picture. Even though the room is simple, it offers all you need for your stay: clean bed and bath, air conditioner (well needed if you are coming in summer). Barbara can even accommodate any last minute needs, like ours that needed an extra bed for my daughter. Breakfast is nice and best of all, it is done with love from Barbara, who stays there until the last guest leaves. Very complete. when you comeback at night, beds are done, room is clean.

I did like staying @barbaras. Even though all good things made it up, I will warn if you are carrying heavy language, you will need to carry them upstairs, which maybe is a momentary hassle. Beware you need your own transportation since public is scarce. In summer you need to check the last number of your car’s plate because there is car circulation restriction at Amalfi and Positano. Otherwise, enjoy!

Barbara was very sweet and helpful. She is always available when you ask something to her. The breakfast was good and Barbara even makes toast if you want to! There are fresh eggs and fresh milk which you can choose from. We felt very welcome at this stay! In the region it is very expensive, and this is one of the more affordable stays. For the price this is good and Barbara is very helpful. There is a bus stop around the corner where you can take the bus to Amalfi. 8/10 stay for sure!!! Recommend you this one!

Location is far up the mountains. (with car and bus this is ok! but I would not recommend walking ;) ). However, parking at Amalfi coast is in general a nightmare so this is a really good spot close by Amalfi and Positano.

A wonderful stay at Casa Barbara!

A wonderful house with a breathtaking view! Even from the shower window, you can look straight at the clear blue sea below. Our room even came with its own huge private terrace overlooking the sea. Barbara was lovely, made sure we had everything we needed and prepared a very tasty and generous breakfast for us. Will definitely come back one day :)

The house does have some very steep stairs, which can be a challenge when transporting luggage. We did not have any issues though and managed to get everything up and down without problems.

Barbara was very kind, the perfect host! She shared with us useful information about public transportations, locations to see and events going on nearby. We booked the Balcony Room, spacious, comfortable and finely decorated! The views from our room and from the living room balcony were absolutely beautiful! We loved the breakfast, lovingly prepared every morning. It's a very peaceful and relaxing place! The only suggestion I would give to people booking this place is to keep in mind that public transportation here on the Amalfi Coast is not as frequent and fluid as it can be in a big city, so it needs to be planned in advance (bus timetables are available online), but the owner of the B&B happily helps you with all the information you might need.

Our host Barbara was excellant doing everthing to make us comfortable, provide and arrange transportation and make sure we were taken care of. Plan your transportaton in advance as Tovere is a distance from Amalfi...which provides a restful location away from the tourist rush!

Perfect spot at Amalfi coast with stunning views at the sea and lovely person as a host!

Perfect choice, that was exactly what we were looking for: stunning view at the sea from all over the place - from the room itself (even from the bathroom when taking a shower :) ), from the big terrace we had for ourselves and from the balcony where we were taking breakfasts. On top of that we found the perfect host with great sense of hospitality and customer service, not to mention Italian temperament, Barbara was taking care of us and was ready to answer all our needs and caprices - including lovely fresh bread with sausage from local bakery :) Perfect contact - that's been a great pleasure to spend 3 days enjoying conversations with Barbara. Top! We kept such lovely memories, we will come back one day, and meantime I recommended this spot to our friends.

Casa Barbara is an once in a lifetime experience. Breathtaking view of the horizon where the sky meets the sea and lets you witness the shape of the earth. The room is decorated beautifully in traditional Italian style and has all the amenities. Barbara, very welcoming and warm, made delicious breakfast for us every morning and completed the whole experience. Can't wait to be there again. In one word, Felicità!
