Great staff very friendly. Excellent breakfast for the price.
Room a little small but to be fair we did order a budget room. There was a little mould in the ensuite which was a shame as the rest of the room was very clean.

The breakfast was superb. Freshly cooked to order. And you could have a choice of scrambled , poached or fried egg with your full English breakfast. The quality of ingredients was very good. Tea or coffee and cereals and toast and fruit. The staff were so friendly and despite having a bad experience with a coach party were extremely professional towards us. The view from our room was lovely. Sea view. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Close to the beach and shops are about 10 mins away.
The rooms need an upgrade but for the price is acceptable.And it is a budget hotel.Also as said before it was very clean. The WiFi did not work in our room 305 but it didn't really matter to us. You can easily connect to it in the bar.

Breakfast excellent, the entertainment on the Saturday evening was unexpected and very good and the staff were very obliging, serving coffee at no cost during the day. . We were very impressed.
Toiletries, eg shampoo and conditioner weren't supplied and that was unexpected.

Restaurant and bar were nice enough
The room was extremely dated, you could smell how old it was (musty)
The room wasn’t clean at all. Hair and debris on carpet, extremely dusty everywhere and limescale covered every inch of the bathroom.
The furniture was scratched, the bed frames are so battered that even the covers the hotel used didn’t conceal it.
I also struggled in the bathroom, due to being heavily pregnant, it was hard to manoeuvre in such a tiny space
Had I of been staying for longer than one night I would have raised it with the staff, however I was just too tired to do anything about it. For reference I’m brunette so there’s no way that the blonde hits on the carpet belonged to me 🫣

They had a 5oth birthday party (which we weren't told about) and they held it right outside our bedroom, very loud music. Over 50 people very very drunk and loud.
We left the property at 10pm and went home.

The public areas were lovely and the location was beautiful. Barman was so friendly and chatty.
I've never stayed in a room so small! It was actually fascinating how they fitted what they did in that space. Seriously needs redecorating/gutting of the single rooms.
The restaurant has recently been refurbished and was very stylish but as we were eating breakfast, we had ant crawling up the chairs and table legs onto the table.
Notified the waitress and was simply told "yes, we're aware of the problem"
Breakfast was beautiful but obviously lost our appetite when we saw the infestation.
Such a shame.

The view was exceptional ,breakfast was plentiful ,it was a pity there was no evening meals available but staff were helpful in providing local take aways who would deliver to the hotel and we were able to eat these in the bar.

The comfy bed was amazing, great sea view of the bay
The breakfast was horrendous….. they were totally wrong when they first arrived from what we ordered, the beans were so concealed together they had become one….and they were cheap as, thick and almost a grey/brown in colour. No taste on the bacon, first bite of the sausage was all fatty, full of gristle and my other halves fried egg looked really good but was somehow fridge cold….don’t even know????? There were 6 of us and the food left on the table was just not good! Very cheap produce but also lack of love and care in the presentation….such a shame because we have stayed at this hotel many times and have always had a lovely breakfast 🍳 not sure what has happened???

It had excellent views out over Exmouth and the sea etc. It was easy to get to and parking was good. The receptionist was very helpful. The cooked breakfast in the morning (incl in the price),was very nice.
Although it was ‘out of season’ on booking in the entrance lobby and downstairs / reception area looked tired and in need of bringing up to date. Our room was on the ground floor, very close to the reception and next to the main entrance. We’d been driving all day and although the beds were fine, we could hear people coming in and out and walking past the door, this went on until well after midnight. The furniture in the room was a bit Spartan looking and the extractor fan in the bathroom was a bit temperamental, I had to stand on the toilet seat to switch it off.

The hotel is an enviable location with amazing sea views, easy parking outside the hotel and along the street, fabulous breakfast and very friendly and welcoming staff. We were arriving late and the communication was perfect to arrange a late check in. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

All staff were polite, efficient and professional as well as being helpful. The location is ideal and if you enjoy a sea view it is spectacular. Good parking and a well stocked and comfortable bar area. Excellent breakfast.

Very comfortable. The breakfast was really good. Great location for walking to the town and to the Exmouth Pavilion which was the reason for our stay.
No on site parking. It was advertised but parking was on the road. We were lucky that there was a space nearby when we arrived. A leak from the ceiling in the room meant we were then rushed to leave on the Sunday morning.

I stayed for one night and it was a nice welcoming stay. The view from our room was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and flexible and the breakfast was nice.
Unfortunately the bed was very squeaky/creeky, as was the floor in the room which was a shame. Also, the corridor was very loud at night time, which I understand can't be helped due to it being an old building and other guests staying, but it kept me awake. Sadly I was awake every hour due to these 2 things. Also, the corridor on our floor was being decorated I think, so there were paintbrushes and tools all out on the floor in the hallway, as well as hanging leads and even an alcoholic drink!
There was also mould in our room and the decor left much to be desired but, again, I know it's an older property.

The hotel was in a great location close to the beach. The full English breakfast was very good and lots of it. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful.

Although we knew that the room we had booked was not the best had the hotel had to offer . We still found the room very bad is , no toiletries available , and one small mark on the bedding . I would say that you get what you pay for on this occasion x. Somewhere to sleep , with breakfast included .
