Passable

The location is excellent. Easy to walk to places to eat/drink and equally easy to get to bus/tram stops to get anywhere in Amsterdam or directly to the airport. The accommodation was lovely, but beware, there's no lift to the apartment and the stairs are fairly narrow and steep.

Two main concerns a) Communication re arrival. We were notified to call a number before our arrival. On landing I received a text asking for our estimated time of arrival. I texted our reply. I heard nothing and, on repeated texting still heard nothing. On arrival, no-one was there. I than rang and was told someone was on their way. After 45 mins rang again to be told person on way had a puncture but was on way. After another 30-45 mins a lady arrived. When I mentioned puncture, she had no idea what I was on about...In that time we'd been stood outside property for over 1.5hrs b) You are asked to send a €500 deposit before you arrive. It took me 2hrs to transfer the money over. It took 14 days to get the €500 back. Whilst I accept they need to check the property after we had left, and they state it may take 7-14 days to get money back, I feel in this day and age it should be returned as soon as property checked.

Amazing property great location and great staff

This is a clean and spacious property which is very central to the busy Amsterdam. It is far away enough to not hear noise at night time. The apartment was very clean on arrival and had enough towels for 6 people. The communication between accomodation management and host was very easy. They were very flexible and friendly despite having a 5 hour flight delay and missing check in time they were able to wait at the property until we arrived for check in without issues. Property had baggage storage following check out at 11. Kept our luggage there until 3pm.

The stairs are VERY steep but it was quite funny lugging our suitcases up with the host

Pleasant

Convenient location.

Too expensive for what is provided, deposit to be paid extra separate to booking.com, thin walls and loud entrance, no or minimalist decoration which doesn't justify a deposit, lack of security with gas hob which doesn't work without lighter.

Fantastic stay - great location and well presented!

The location is perfect. The apartment has an incredible balcony and the interior is immaculate. It is ideal for 4 or more people, as there's lots of space and very clean.

One thing to note is that the stairs are VERY steep - be careful when coming in and out at night. But this is normal in Amsterdam, so not the property's fault.

Disappointing

The location, coach.

Nonfunctional key, wrong number on booking, they pushed us to do all the cleaning, demanded unexpected deposit (maybe it's written somewhere) cash or bank transfer. Pressure to leave before checkout, rip-off rate for late checkout. Plenty of coffee but no tea, one dish machine tablet, promised to bring more, never happened. And the coffee machine actually leaked too much to prepare a coffee. And more

Perfectly fine, clean, good location, good host, would use again. But not a luxury apartment.

Excellent location. Good kitchen facilities. Very clean!

Could do with more mirrors. Very steep stairs! The sofa bed in living room is falling apart and not comfortable at all. The bathroom is huge.. with a bath - it’d be better if it had two showers!

Loved this apartment. Excellent location. City centre walking distance.

Good location. Spacious apartment.

Flights of stairs are steep to apartment (typical in traditional buildings in Amsterdam though). Bedroom at front of building is noisy at night-time (typical of city). Bedroom at back much quieter.

Don’t recommend this property at all! Advise you to not agree to pay deposit because they’ll find an excuse to charge yo

the apartment looks good but the management team has not stopped disturbing us on our stay.

the property have faked a smoke alarm in order to charge a 500 euro deposit from us that was not protected by booking. they also cancelled our early check in last minute without any option to keep our bags on time. The heating wasn’t working well.

Very good

Great location, super central, we visited all Amsterdam walking. Very good for a family with children (one main bedroom and another bedroom with 4 individual beds)

Personally I would have liked some blinders to block the light in the morning from entering the rooms. A few basic courtesy details would have made all the difference from good to excellent on this great apartment (lack of matchsticks to turn on the cook, a piece of fruit for a late arrival, a towel for the floor of the shower, etc..)

Only downfall was there was no smoking options and being in Amsterdam and being a smoker and not being able to go on the

Wasn’t allowed to smoke on the balcony 3 stories up away from everyone!
