Great stay, lovely well furnished, cosy apartment in a very convenient location with easy parking and friendly helpful h
Lovely apartment cosy yet spacious with lots of character. Very well equipped kitchen and spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful hosts provided lots of info on the area and things to do in advance and fresh milk and delicious Welsh cakes on our arrival. The apartment is in a quiet residential area next to the park, there’s a corner shop a few minutes walk away and a cafe at the entrance to the park. A 5 - 10 minute walk into town. 10 - 15 minutes drive to beautiful countryside and the Brecon Beacons national park. Parking in the drive and plenty if street parking. We will definitely stay here again.
We loved the Rafters it’s a beautiful apartment but it is on the second floor and the stairs up to the second floor are steep this wasn’t an issue for us but something to be aware of if you are not good with stairs.

An ideal place to stay when visiting the Brecon Beacons.
Nice big room with everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable. The Welsh cakes were a nice touch!

I would give my stay 7/10, with a little more attention to detail this could easily be a 9/10 stay.
Large, interesting and quirky house. Big room and comfortable bed.
The house although nice was a little shabby and could have been cleaner. Nothing was terrible by any means but for the price I would expect it to be spot on.

Fantastic stay, highly recommend
The studio we stayed in was beautiful! We really didn't expect it and as it was a birthday trip for my partner, I was very glad to walk into such a beautiful space. The photos really don't do it justice. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. The views from our room were lovely and everything was tastefully decorated. We bumped into James on our way in and out. He was very kind and helpful, even giving us some extra welsh cakes and some of his own honey as we left. The location is fabulous! We went for a hike on the Friday up to the Canadian bomber crash site, gorge walking / canyoning on Saturday which was 30 minutes down the A road and then Bike Park Wales on Sunday (yes we were exhausted after all of this) which was 7 minutes by car. I couldn't recommend staying here more.
After all of the hard work and fun activities we pushed ourselves to do, it would have been great to have a bath to come back to but we made do with a nice long, warm shower to warm our bones back up and the shampoo and body wash provided made that better.

Very good
Elegant mansion about 1 km from train station (Tesco shopping centre) and the High street . Friendly snd helpful owners .
Definitely need a car, the walk up hill with bags would be difficult. Taxis are 4 pounds.
