Très jolie surprise, parfait !

Un belle surprise à deux pas du centre, un petit oasis de tranquillité avec hamac et jardin ombragé, petit déjeuner très bon et la gentillesse des hôtes !! Notre chambre pour 4 était très bien !

Eau chaude dans la salle de bain ne fonctionnait pas bien mais pas un problème du fait de la chaleur extérieure

Adresse de charme au calme et dans le centre

Bon accueil de Miguel avec une présentation de la ville, situation excellente à la fois au calme et à 2 pas du centre-ville et de la joie rue piétonne 41 La literie confortable Le cadre, très joli jardin et patio Le 1er petit dej n’a pas pu être pris car nous partions tôt pour Chitzen Itza mais Miguel a eu la gentillesse de nous servir un café et des fruits

La salle de bain un peu vieillotte Les biscottes du pdj pourraient être remplacées par du pain oú toast frais

Gran lloc a Valladolid

Els anfitrions han sigut molt molt amables. Ens van cuidar com si foren de la familia. Estem molt agraïts . Serveixen um almorzar de.menjar típic molt bo. Els llits son comodes i les habitacions amplies. Sense dubte tornariem a quedarse ací.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, toller Garten, schöner Pool, sehr nettes Personal. Ruhige Lage, aber sehr nahe zum Convent de San Bernardino und kurzer Spaziergang ins Zentrum.

Good stay for a couple of days

The wifi was good, it had a secure parking for the car, the breakfast was excellent. These were the main points we wanted to tick when searching for th*e property and Casa Xu Unan delivered brillinalty on these. Also, the owner gave us a good "induction" at our arrival about the facility and what we could see in Valladolid, which was very useful, plus tips on where we could go for dinner The location is excellent, as you can walk to the city centre on a very secure and vibrant road full of shops and restaurants

Our room (room 3 I believe) was on the ground floor with a view on the internal courtyard, so we had to keep the courtains always on to preserve a little privacy. For this reason, although the room itself was spacious and had all the facilities including the air conditioning, it felt a bit clustrofobic if you had to spend too much time in it. I do not think there is anything that can be done about it, it is what it is, and for a couple of days it was perfetly fine and, to be fair, I believe the price compared to the nearby property was reflective of this (i.e it was a bit cheper). However, I thought to mentioned it just to make everyone aware that if they intend to spend a little longer on the property, perhaps they might consider enquire for a room on the upper levels. The other comment is in relation to the breakfast time. The main reason why most travellers, like us, are staying in Valladolid is because of its vicinity to Chichen Itza. It takes, by car, about 40 minutes to get there and the acheological site opens at 8:00am. So, to be there by the opeining time and avoid the crowds you would have to leave the property by no later than 7:20am. Unfortunately Casa Xu Unan offers breakfast from 7:30am owards only, which is a bit late if you would like to be in Chichen Itza by 8:00am. We asked if breakfast could be anticipated to 6:30am or at least 7:00am but we got a very firm "no, it is not possible". Not sure why, maybe they have very good reasons for it, but it is a pity from the travellers point of view and perhaps this is an improvement that the management could consider for the future. In our case, we gave up breakfast on our first day because of this, which was a little disappointing, even more so because we discovered on our second day (when we did have breakfast at the property) that it was absolutly excellent

We loved the breakfasts - fresh fruits, fresh juices, lovely Yucatan breakfasts. We really enjoyed trying new foods. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

It would have been great to have clean towels every couple of days.

Prix un peu élevé mais bel endroit

La maison est magnifique et dispose d’une piscine si vous le souhaitez. Vous êtes au centre de Valladolid même, à côté de l’église. Le parking privé est également un plus. L’hôte et les employés sont vraiment très sympathiques (prend le temps de donner beaucoup d’explications). La chambre dispose d’un fer a repasser ce qui est un petit plus. Il y a également un frigo à disposition bien qu’il était débranché et que nous ne l’avons donc pas utilisé. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et il s’agit de spécialité du Yucatán.

En dépit de tous ces points positifs, je dois souligner que le petit déjeuner ne peut pas être pris en avance alors que la plupart des touristes viennent faire des visites très tôt (je trouve ce point dommage). Nous avons eu une difficulté à communiquer et de ce fait nous sommes partis pendant que les employés préparaient en avance un petit en-cas (l’effort a été apprécié). En fait, je trouve dommage qu’il n’y a rien pour compenser cela pour le prix du logement qui est assez élevé. C’est par ailleurs la seule chose que nous avions demandé à l’hôte. Je pense que ce point mérite d’être amélioré pour passer une expérience parfaite et découvrir le Yucatán le ventre plein. Une petite brosse pour les toilettes à disposition serait mieux également (ça éviterait d’appeler quelqu’un à chaque fois).

Top Lage.

Sehr gute Lage. Das Frühstück mexikanisch und immer eine Überraschung :) der beste Saft auf unserer Mexiko Reise. Ein Riesen Bett und viel Platz im Zimmer. Alles war sehr sauber. Wir haben noch eine Nacht verlängert und das war kein Problem :) Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Leider können wir kein Spanisch, somit war die Kommunikation auf Englisch nicht immer so einfach. Trotzdem total nettes Personal und mit Google Übersetzer hat auch dies funktioniert

A delightfully hospitable BnB

The hosts are very friendly. It's a beautiful house, I appreciate the sounds of birds in the mornings and papayas from the backyard. A delightful experience in that sense.

It would've been great to have a coffee maker in the room. A mini fridge would also be nice to have in the heat, but not particularly necessary.

chambre pas très propre, les housses des oreillers sentaient mauvais, nous avons dû mettre une serviette dessus car pour nous, ils n’étaient pas lavés et nous pensons qu’il en était de même pour les draps. Aimant marcher pieds nus mes pieds étaient vites très sales ce qui montre que le sol, bien que brillant, n’était pas lavé. pas d’eau chaude ni de pression a la douche. Svp chers utilisateurs ne vous laissez pas séduire par les propriétaires qui vous demandent de bien les noter si ce n’est pas le cas, car vous trompez les prochains voyageurs sur le produit, merci

Un lugar muy bonito y centrico

La atención de la chica que nos recibió en la tarde ya que tuvimos un poco de problemas para llegar temprano. Todos fueron muy atentos, el desayuno estuvo muy rico y de buena porción. La habitación estaba limpia, ordenada y la zona muy centrica, se puede ir caminando al centro de Valladolid.

de klantvriendelijkheid en het gevoel van thuis zijn. Leuk huis, nieuwe en schone kamers. Lekker ontbijt!

Helaas waren ze aan het verbouwen, wat positief is voor de toekomst want ze zijn de boel echt aan het opknappen! echter was er dus veel lawaai hiervan. Rond 19:00 hielden ze wel op.

Super adresse pour Valladolid

Logement très bien situé à 10 min à pied du centre ville et 15 min de la Cénote Zaci en passant par des petites rues commerçantes très typiques. La chambre est grande, très propre, 2 lits très confortables et propres. Petit frigo, bouilloire et micro-ondes dans la chambre. L'accueil est très convivial et arrangeant. Les petits déjeuner sont excellents. Parking sécurisé ou possible à l'extérieur.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad, prima kamer, mooi aangelegde tuin waar we een Mexicaans ontbijt kregen. Locatie was perfect. Lieve eigenaren, echt een aanrader om Mérida en omgeving te bekijken

Por supuesto qué regresaría a hospedarme ahi, y queda justo a la vuelta del convento

La atención a la llegada salio la persona a recibirnos al patio, con todo, llaves y controles. Super agradable el patio, puedes hacer uso de la cocina y enceres, alberca pequeña pero super agradable, palapa y sala de estar. La habitación muy amplia y el baño también, tiene percheros, espacio para colgar ropa, para poner las maletas, cama y almohadas muy cómodas

En la habitación el aire acondicionado no enfriaba muy bien. A mi consideración el check out muy temprano a las 12 del día, a las 11 me fueron a tocar qué me quedaba una hora para mi salida

Susi and Miguel are super nice hosts. They cooked every day another typical breakfast from Yucatan. Also when we had an issue and needed to shorten the stay by one night they accepted immediately and with Booking together everything worked out perfectly. Recommend them 10/10!

Already planning our return!

Breakfast was very nice, location was close enough to walk to the park and activities. Staff was super nice and friendly. The property is very nice and well maintained.

The pool was a welcome bonus, but getting in and out can be a bit tricky for older folks.

Couldn’t recommend this Casa more!

Susi and Miguel were incredibly warm and welcoming. Miguel gave us great recommendations on what to do and where to eat. The Casa was really homely and has everything you need…and the breakfasts were delicious! Thank you Susi and Miguel!

The only (big) negative point we had.. It was not really clean. The fridge was really dirty. The bedsheet had stains and the ground of the pool was slippy. In the bathroom were hairs, the bathroom sink was greasy and the toilet really smells like pee.

All of the family was very friendly and welcoming. Lovely garden with a pool and hammocks to hang out in. Can hire bikes fir the day for 100 pesos.
