A lovely and spacious beach house that can sleep up to 9 people. Ideal for families or friends groups. The house is located 400m from the beach. great location with a short walk to shops, cafe's, plaza, cinema, hotel & beautiful beaches.
House Configuration & Features
Bedroom 1 has single bed and set of single bunks. Bed 2 has a Queen bed and full ensuite with walk in shower. Bed 3 has queen bed wardrobe and dresser. Large Lounge with 127cm flat screen TV and DVD player. Netflix available and WiFi connection. Large Split System for heating and cooling in Lounge and Kitchen/Dining area..
Kitchen / Family Area: has fully equipped modern kitchen with large bench tops. Appliances include, dishwasher, microwave, stove top and oven, fridge-Freezer, electric jug, toaster, Large split system for heating and cooling. There is ample kitchen utensils including cookware, cutlery, crockery and glassware.
Main bathroom has large walk in shower and bath with a lovely vanity and large mirror. Laundry: complete with washing machine, Dryer, Iron / Ironing Board, sink and storage cupboards. Seperate toilet off main passageway.
Bungalo: has kitchenette with sink, Electric Jug, Toaster and microwave with ample cupboard space. Bedding consists of two single beds. There is also a flat screen TV and DVD player for the kids together with a split system for cooling and heating comfort.
Doors from the kitchen and bungalo open onto the large timber decking to create indoor-outdoor entertaining and living.
Back yard: Large timber decking with outdoor setting to seat 8 people + BBQ all with a backdrop of landscaped gardens.
There is an outdoor shower (hot & cold water) for those quick wash offs after the beach.
Parking: Large single carport with space for second vehicle in drive or on large nature strip.
Please note that we supply doonas, doona covers and pillows for all bedding but no sheets, pillowcases or towels, so please arrange to bring some.
A $1,000 bond payment is required 1 week prior to the arrival date.

Cleaning
The property is professionally cleaned after each guest leaves however guests must ensure that the property is left in a clean and tidy condition before leaving i.e no dirty dishes, stove and oven cleaned (if used) bbq cleaned (if used) general sweep of floor and mop if drinks etc have been spilled. Any excess cleaning may attract an additional fee which will be deducted from the property bond.
Damage / Breakages
Any breakages or damage must be reported prior to checkout. Depending upon the nature or extent of breakage / damage additional fees may be charged.

We were a group of 7 mature aged gents staying on the Peninsula for a long weekend of golf. The house provided comfortable accommodation with ample space indoors and outside on the deck. The house is in an ideal location, walking distance to local cafes for breakfast. We also visited the RSL for dinner and used the convenience of the courtesy bus for pick-up/drop-off.

House was a great space in a great location. Check-in was easy. Upon entry via front door there was quite a strong musty odour in the lounge room, but with all windows open it disappeared relatively quickly.
All bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms and bungalow was as described and in great order. The kitchen lighting was very impacted and too dim with one downlight blown above the main fridge/prep area. Using a bedside lamp did improve the lighting.
Unfortunately the house did not have any hand wash and only 2 rolls of toilet paper.
The host was very easy to contact and quick to respond, offering a valid explanation and providing solutions.
Overall although there were a couple of hiccups, my family and I had a great experience in this house with lots of memories made and we would stay here again.

Wonderful family holiday
Brilliant location; shops and eateries nearby; easy walk to the beach. Large, spacious house for our group of 6 adults, 2 infants and dog. Air conditioning located in several zones. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, (decent sized coffee cups!) and utensils etc., along with some extras of items often needed like salt, glad-wrap, oil etc. Bathrooms were large and modern. Lots of good hot water for showers and washing. Communal areas were large enough for all of us to gather together. Beach items were supplied like bucket, spade, foam board, noodles and chairs. Communication with Shane prior to arrival and during stay was excellent. Any questions and concerns were promptly answered. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

What a great house. This was perfect for us with 2 teenagers and a 10 year old this place had a space for everyone and within walking distance of everything you could need. The communication from Shane was great. I would highly recommend this house and the location.

Really well appointed house with everything you need in great location. Feels like home. Three decent bedrooms, excellent bungalow, 2 bathrooms AND an outdoor hot/cold shower that is accessible via the side entrance so you are not traipsing sand through the house. Lovely private and secure garden. Would definitely stay again. Overall experience surpassed our expectations.
Opportunities for improvement: 1) WIFI in bungalow, 2) cleanliness of kitchen and bathrooms, 3) queen mattress in room without on-suite very poor (it's the only thing that would make me question staying again), and 4) red couch needs some odour eating treatment!

Beautiful, homely property very close to Rosebud beach and shops. Perfect little getaway!
Our family stayed here with some friends and their kids for a few days in early January 2019. There were 10 of us all together, 6 adults, 3 children and our dog. This property was the perfect fit for all of us.
Property is very roomy, lots of space for the small children to play and run around whilst also giving my teenage son his space to watch the tennis on TV in the living room.
Backyard is very well kept and was the perfect size for us all to be outside - the kids especially loved to jump under the outdoor shower after spending the day at the beach!
Rosebud beach and the main strip of shops were only a short 5 minute walk up the road which meant we didn't need to use our cars during the duration of our stay except to pick up a take away dinner one night.
The host, Shane, was easily contactable and kept us informed throughout the whole process and our stay - including to let us know we could check-in to the property a little earlier than initially advised.
We all had a wonderful time at Seamist making new memories and would love to stay again in the future.
