A wonderful Good Friday was had by all, possibly one of our best ever.

Rudy and Avalon were the perfect hosts. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the balcony was the perfect spot to relax and gaze at the calm blue ocean yonder. The deluxe continental breakfast put on by Avalon was absolutely flawless, delicious and it set us up for the day of walking around the local area and exploring. We even got a bird feeding show from Rudy while we were having breakfast, we saw the giant cockatoos and kookaburras, and the tenacious and charming lorakeets, as well as the brightly coloured king parrots, all having breakfast with us together. Thank you guys for making our Good Friday stay something really special!

Fantastic location in the heart of Palm Beach

Good continental breakfast, but went the extra yards - with organic locally sourced breads, special jars for spreads, house prepared fresh fruit & yoghurts with Juice, Tea, & Coffee. Soft boiled egg available if you wanted one :)

Not too much - Avalon & Rudi are great hosts, go out of their way to help guests with local sites, lifts to the nearby, superb restaurants, and a great opportunity to just relax & unwind.

Peaceful, beautiful place to stay.

Wonderful location, and the bird feeding at breakfast were a real treat. Lovely amenities and the layout of the house was great.

Amazing location and hosts, once in a lifetime feeding with wild birds.

Nothing of note, maybe internal noise insulation could be a bit better, but that's old houses for ya.

Clean, cost effective, tranquil location with engaging hosts.

The hosts were very accommodating of all our requests. We even arrived one day early, and Rudi and Avalon made sure that we were most welcomed. Breakfast was superb with a good range of different food types. The rooms are very clean with a lovely little balcony off each room to take in the serenity of the outdoors.

Rudi & Avalon... WOW!!!

Everything about our stay exceeded any expectation we had. The breakfast had the wow factor! From quality, to selection, to service, everything provided by our hosts was second to none. The accommodation was private and clean. Our bathroom smelled so lovely with mood reeds wafting beautiful fragrance. Rudi and Avalon were full of information about the surrounding area and their knowledge and years of experience was truly appreciated. Not once did we feel like we were imposing on their time and we witnessed them treat each guest with the same level of personal attention. It was an amazing experience and we will rave about this for a long time to come. If you have the opportunity to come here you must grab it! :)

Beautiful relaxing tranquil B&B with views across Palm Beach.

Rudi & Avalon such lovely kind caring people. B&B was extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast very delicious fruits, teas, coffee, yoghurts, cooked eggs, cereals. We all loved our stay here and they are doing a magnificent job having been the B&B owners for over 25 years!

Lovely old residence, very accommodating hosts.

Wonderful breakfast in peaceful surrounds. Grand old home. Bathroom was super clean and functional. Loved the hosts. Loved the location. Offstreet parking in hosts driveway (absolute necessity in PB). Close to Barrenjoey House and other facilities.

Bedrooms were just bedrooms, no private lounge area as such, only common lounge which was a bit dated and cluttered with owners paraphernalia - added character but a little bit much for us. While we loved the location, the rooms were all booked and the home smelled old and damp - this was quite overpowering of a nighttime when doors all closed. Opted not to stay the second night because the bed was probably past its use-by-date and the room whilst overlooking the beautiful green garden, didn't really provide the comforts we'd normally associate with a B&B at this price point.

The idea of a hosted b&b was really appealing. we had an absolutely wonderful, relaxing time made all the more perfect by Avalon and Rudi who were very accommodating and hospitable. Excellent breakfast 👏

The wonderful stories told by Rudy, the excellent local knowledge and being toured around in a gorgeous red Bentley. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was amazing. Thanks to Rudy and Avalon for their superb hospitality.

Perfect accommodation and awesome hosts

Avalon and Rudi are excellent hosts and the accommodation was superb. From the super comfy bed to the views from the balcony to the electric massage chairs which were a welcome bonus after a strenuous walk around the area. We will definitely be back.
