Superb

Konstantinos is very helpful and welcoming, the best host we could've asked for! The apartment was true to the pictures, very clean and has great location. Thank you for the wine and tsikoudia!:)

Superb

Apartment was cleaned every 3.day and it had everything we needed for our vaccay. The best part is that the beach is 3min away.

Everything was great. The card maschine was not working so we had to get the money from the bank, notice to bring cash for paying.

Excellent location and accommodation with sea view. Fantastic host.

Location excellent, apartment with lovely sea view. Constantinos, the host, was most accommodating even lending me an adapter for my phone. Welcomed us with drinks and fresh fruit. Excellent overall.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome accompanied by Tsikoudia (a traditional Cretan spirit) and a selection of fresh fruits. Our host Konstantinos was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond by providing us with recommendations on places to visit, the best dining spots, and which beaches to explore. The accommodation was clean, and we enjoyed spending time on the terrace with a sea view. The beach is just two minutes away from the accommodation, and there is a long promenade along the beach that leads to the old town. The white wine we got upon departure was excellent!

Go for it!

Nice place close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The owner was very kind and helpful. He helped me make a surprise and he suggested us different locations where to go. We were welcomed with fruits, water and a traditional drink.

We did’t have hot water in one of the apartments.

Our host gave us some fruit and a small bottle of raki upon arrival and we were given an apartment, for 4 persons but with a restricted sea view further back..The bedroom was comfortable and the balcony was ok.

The apartment was a good 30 minute walk from town.The dining area was somewhat bare like a school classroom.The kettle did not switch off automatically and the cooker was old and slow to heat up.We had no hot water for 2 days out of 4 and no rubbish collection for 3 days.So all in all a bit of a mixed bag 🛍️ although we were given a bottle of wine on our final day ..

Absolutely wonderful place, very friendly and kind, supportive host, picobello clean (snowwhite sheets and towels, very proper regular cleaning of the room and balcony) Very close nice beach payment free (50m) Couple of nice restaurants also not far. Grear Chania Vebetian Harbor easy to visit with the local bus even without a car! In one word - perfect! And stunning sunset ! Just the sea was bit stormy, but the nature cant be influented. We really enjoyed all the rest if days and used stormy days for the sightseeing. Big thanks to Konstantinos and regards from Vienna!

Top location, right next to the beach,nice view,big apartment (suits up to 4 people), many nice coffee shops,bars and restaurants around and big supermarket.The staff was very kind

Apartments are very well equipped(stove, iron for clothes, dishes, fan, AC, washing machine),location was great, market is like 20m from the motel. Constantinos, the owner, welcomed us with Tsikoudia(schnaps) that he made(it was very good), he was very nice to us and helped us with everything(to find nice beaches and where to eat), he even sent us some wine to drink before going out :) . We felt like at home thanks to him, very nice, polite and funny guy. Everything was nice during our stay, we liked everithing, havent felt such hospitality in a long time, you usually just come to appartment and receive keys and then return them when time comes to go home, but Constantinos welcomed us, helped with our baggage and server us with schnaps and also waited us when we we exiting the appartment.

A very nice place, close to the beach. Cleannig and towels change every three days. Good kitchen equipment. Wi-fi works very well (I worked remotely for several days and Internet quality was ok). Very nice and hospitable manager - Konstantinos :-)

Very nice apartment 1 min from the beach. Very recommend ! If you stay, go to the hosts recommend taverna Akropolis, which is in 10 minutes walk and the best quality!

The accomodation was super comfortable. The room was spacious and cleaned every 3rd day. All of the amenities listed on booking were there. We had a balcony overlooking the beach and could hear the waves in the evening. The beach is literally a minute away, it couldn't be any closer. Konstantinos, our host, was super welcoming. He helped us order some food to our accommodation the evening we arrived. We were completely exhausted as our flight was delayed and we arrived some 3-4 hours later than planned. We also got some raki and fruits upon our arrival, as well as a bottle of wine later in the week, as wine is one of the specialties of this region. Konstantinos helped us with any other information we needed, from the local transport, and excursions to the nearby places to helping with some issues with our transport to the airport. Namely, my friend had an issue with the shuttle bus transport, as her booking code could not be found in the local agency. Konstantinos called the local center and solved the issue and got her information about where and when she should catch her shuttle bus. Needless to say, we both arrived to our destinations on time and without any hiccups. We really have nothing to complain about, we enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in Rethymno in the years to come! :)

Apartment near the beach

The beds were super comfy. Nice views form the balcony. The owner was very friendly and offered us a welcome local drink and fruit and also brought us a bottle of wine later. The apartment wasn't big but had everything and was in front of the beach. But I recommend going to the beaches a bit further from there

There weren't too many restaurants around and it was 20 min walking to the old town

Outstanding hospitality, great location, very nice rooms

The host Konstantinos is very gracious, friendly and cheerful. He keeps alive the tradition of Philoxenia. He greets guests in person with gifts of fresh fruit and raki. He’s always on site and eager to help with any information you might want about the neighborhood and all of Rethymno or any other type of assistance. The location is superb less than 100 meters from the endless sand beach which you can see and hear from the large balconies. (See attached picture from my balcony) It’s about a 15-20 minute casual walk along the beach to the center of Rethymno, 30 minutes to the entrance of the Venetian Fortress. If you prefer to drive Konstantinos will explain where you can park free near the center. The neighborhood around Sunny Beach has a large variety of very good restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk in both directions up and down the beach. The on site parking is super convenient just steps from the apartment entrance. The room and bathroom are modern, spacious, and sparkling clean. The AC is cool and quiet. The shower does NOT spill out onto the floor unlike several other places I stayed on Crete. The kitchenette has a two burner stove top, small refrigerator and the essential cookware and dishes. The sound insulation is great. With the balcony door closed I couldn’t hear any outside noise. Everything was as expected or better, and the hospitality exceptional. I thought it was a great bargain for the price.

Everything you need

The apartments are in the great location, 20 minutes on foot from the center of Rethymno, so the zone is very quiet. In the radius of 10 meters you have a beach, bar/restaurant, an ATM and a store. Basically, everything you need. The owner, Kostas, is more than welcoming, we really felt as if we were at our own home.
