A nice stay

I stayed a few nights here. Comfortable and clean dormitory. Hot shower. Friendly staff and a great location in a quiet area away from the busy main street. A really nice restaurant to the left of the hostel. Easy to get around and close to everything. A very good price also. I'd definitely stay here again.

5 nuits à New Ubud Hostel

Le personnel est très gentil, l'auberge se situe dans le centre ce qui permet de visiter beaucoup de lieux à pied. L'auberge est calme. Pour le petit déjeuner, vous pourrez déguster un pancake à la banane vraiment délicieux. Le dortoir est frais ce qui est très agréable après une journée de visite. Les lits sont confortables et le débit de la douche est bon.

La connexion wifi n'est pas très bonne. Les portes de la douche du dortoir Magic ne coulissent pas bien et se bloquent parfois. Le robinet du lavabo de la salle de bain est en très mauvais état et l'eau coule à un débit très faible. La porte du dortoir est bruyante car elle coince. L'éclairage dans la salle de bain n'est pas suffisant.

Perfect location and very friendly staff

Doors are pretty thin, so not very comfortable bathroom situation, since neither you or others can have some privacy there.

Good stay. i meet a lot of travelers too!

The location was great. its in the center of ubud. staff are really warm. you'll get what you pay for. but if you plan to go out everyday and just get back at the hotel to sleep this will be the perfect place for you.

smelly and dirty kitchen. bathroom needs daily cleaning also. when you have a motorcycle on your trip to bud, the gate of this property was really narrow. please be careful.

banana pancakes are great, the staff is really polite they have a cute dog. all in all great value for money

The airco is amazing, works really well and very quiet. Also the bed space is very big and comfy

I got sick and that same night there were many people from everywhere chilling in the shared space. It was very loud and they made it really late. I decided to leave the next morning instead of staying 2 more nights. Not the best hostel to be sick in. Also not very hygienic

Simple place that can be cleaner

The hostel is simple and in a central location but still is peaceful because it’s inside an alley. The staff are helpful but can sometimes be very hard to find. Breakfast is edible but don’t expect too much.

The social area is right outside the dorm rooms so you hear chatter even when you are in the room. The restrooms lack hooks where you can hang your stuff, they also don’t have locks. It's a bit dirty. Overall cleanliness and maintenance can be improved.

Location is good and the staff was nice

The dorm toilets ran out of toilet paper twice in one night and even with the doors closed you could still smell cigarette smoke throughout the dorm. The Wifi could be better.

Nice hidden stay in the city center

The hostel is really good hidden in the market but it's very cute and nice. It was also very easy to meet new people there. The hostel has also a very cute baby dog, which is the goodest boi out there.

was ok

the bed was comfy and the location was amazing! super central! it’s cheap and definitely worth staying for just 1 night as a stop over sort of hostel rather than long stay.

the room was quite dirty and so was the toilets, the room was loud throughout the night, with people talking.

Exceptional

Beds really comfy with good privacy, shower was great and free banana pancakes every morning were delicious. All the staff were friendly and there was an amazing little puppy to play with 😂

Very spacious beds in a large dorm with good Aircon. The location was great. Close to the centre of the town with most things within walking distance.

I don't think the bathrooms were cleaned during the 3 days we were there.

fantastic expect no hot water and bathroom lock

beds are comfortable, bathroom looks lovely, lockers are huge!

no hot water and no lock on the shower doors you have to lock the whole bathroom which stops someone else’s using the other shower, toilet and sink.

nice friendly and worth the money, just some more toilet privacy.

cute friendly staff, and there were cats! good beds with mostly private feeling.

just a little bit dirty/disorganized in bathroom, and no locks on toilets and shared sound space as rest of bathroom so could create a poop choir while someone brushed teeth in the middle

Excellent

It's really nice place, comfy bed, good wifi and breakfast. The bathrooms have privacy and a door, with beautiful marble style floor. The place is in the center of Ubud market so convenient to walk to the market and all the restaurants and cafés. I also forgot my items there and I communicated with them through Whattsup and they kept my stuff until I returned from Gili Islands. I am so thankful 🙏🙏🙏
