Kommen gerne wieder

Absolute Top Lage mit riesiger Fensterfront zum See! Sehr geräumige Zimmer. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und 1 a. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Einmal etwas ganz Anderes; uns hat es sehr gut gefallen

Grosszügiges Zimmer, ausgezeichnete Lage. Sehr netter und freundlicher Empfang. Möglichkeit - trotz Fussgängerzone - mit dem Auto vor das Hotel zu fahren. Parkplatz ganz in der Nähe.

Schlechter Geruch im Badezimmer, vom Syphon im Lavabo herrührend.

War ganz i.O.aber für den Preis haben wir mehr erwartet.

Die Lage ist ganz nett, man ist direkt am Hafen. Das Zimmer sehr groß und eine schöne Fensterfront. Sehr nette Putzfrau! Pluspunkt für Kaffeemaschine!

Wir mussten erstmal suchen, wo der Check in zu finden ist. Eine bessere Ausschilderung wäre wünschenswert, da man mit dem Auto durch die Fußgängerzone fahren muss und ein Wenden schwierig ist. Der Herr sprach nur gebrochen deutsch und konnte uns kaum etwas erklären. Das Parkhaus war etwas weiter weg und funktionierte mit QR Code ( bei uns leider nicht) Der Gang zum Zimmer ist viel zu dunkel, nur Notbeleuchtung. Mit offenem Fenster schlafen unmöglich, da direkt an Fußgängerzone. Sicht wird von Bäumen und Schiff verdeckt. Keine Klima.Toilettenlüftung dürfte besser sein. Man muss die Fenster öffnen…

Spitzen Optik - Schwächen im Detail

Fast konkurrenzloser Blick aus großzügiger Verglasung auf See, Alpen und Hafenbetrieb. Modernes Innenraumkonzept und kluge Raumaufteilung. Die Basis des Objektes ist im Prinzip ein Café, welches wirbt mit dem Spruch: Brot, Kaffee, Wein und Wärme.

Ein klassches Hotel ist das Aika nicht, sondern ein Café, das diverse Appartements in einem benachbarten Haus anbietet. Für aktuell 16 Euro kann gut gefrühstückt werden, es gibt aber keinerlei Brötchen und kein klassisches Hotelbuffet zur Selbstbedienung. Das ist nicht tragisch, aber man sollte es vielleicht vorher wissen. Ansonsten noch etwas Jammern auf hohem Niveau: die Matratzen sind nichts für Weichschläfer, im Bad war die Lichtleiste über dem Waschbecken nach oben offen und die Kabel lagen frei. Die Dichtungen der Dusche hatten rötlich - krustige Beläge. Unangenehm fand ich glänzend fettige Handabdrücke an der Wand über dem Kopfteil des Bettes.

The room was lovely with a great view over the harbour and the lake. Very comfortable, with everything we needed.

The only thing that was a little odd was the glass bathroom, but we got used to it.

perfect boutique hotel with beautiful lake view

What's not to like in this hotel? our stay was perfect from start to finish. This is a quirky boutique hotel with 10 rooms, you check in the bar next door (where the great b-fast is also taking place), and the rooms are in a 3 story building mixed with flats, shops etc. Maybe due to low season, it was quite empty and totally quiet. The full height windows look directly over the lake, breathtaking views at sunrise. The surroundings are quite nice, overall it was great.

Small things: the garage is actually a public parking 300m away for which you get a voucher - no big problem. In summer, I guess a terrace would be nice. But I have nothing to complain about in this hotel, it was all good.

The cold impersonal atmosphere, simple and cheap furnishing don’t correspond the exclusive status that’s promoted. Too expensive.

Once you find it, you'll like it.

Staff very kindly upgraded our room to a suite for the same price. Wonderful view, comfy bed, very big bathroom. Location right by the lake.

We had some trouble locating the hotel as there is no sign outside and Google maps couldn't find it. Reception is inside bar next door, the staff was extremely helpful though.

The rooms are okay. The lake view is great and it's generally clean and cosy. It's great for one or two nights. The staff is really friendly, and the bakery serves a good breakfast.

The biggest problem with the room is the absence of mosquito nets. The other thing is that this hotel has no amenities, like a pool, lobby, etc.

Beautiful town, view and History. Very pleased I visited.

Only surprise was appeared I was checking in to a shop rather than a Hotel as the accommodation was in an adjacent building, but it wasn't far away and still had a great view of the lake.

Separate accommodation but not really an issue.

I had a very good stay but this hotel is not really for business trips.

The room had an excellent view ( really exceptional ). But for breakfast I had to move to another building which was not very pleasant , especially because the weather was not very good.

Difficult for finding a parking place for my car. I travel most of the times by car and there is no parking place for cars near to the hotel. Moreover , the area is for pedestrians only which makes it difficult to bring all your stuff to the hotel room.

Phone signal was bad inside the building, so no data internet usage, WiFi did not work at all. I came around 9 pm and founding the place was a nightmare as it is hidden in the buildings…

Restful, wonderful holiday weekend getaway on the shores of Bodensee!

Wonderfully helpful and cheerful Aika team, from arrival through departure - phenomenal view - delicious plentiful breakfast - tremendous modern apartment in a central location - good restaurants nearby (but make reservations!) - running / walking trails plentiful...

Nothing Aika could have done about it - day of arrival had stunning clear skies...then two days of cold, cloudy, foggy and damp weather...and day of departure again stunning sunny clear skies. Ah! Weather in Germany!

Exceptional

Knowing a couple of locations in Friedrichshafen this one is the best for tourists. The view on the lake is mind blowing. The women who showed me the room was very nice and changed the room by upgrading to a better one because she noticed that there was some smell. Although the place is not cheap I would recommend it cause regarding the location it's worth every penny 🙂.

Very good

Everything just perfect. The 2nd floor has a kind of one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and living room with an extra bed. the view is fabulous with a very nice terrace.

But I advise you to avoid room 601 because there is no mobile network signal, also no wifi. they need to install a wifi repeater somewhere near.
