Modern apartment close to the beach

The hostess was very nice, the apartment is modern in a secured area. The beach is about a 10 minute walk.

Exhausting

The coffee maker was very nice. There was wine waiting which was thoughtful. It was not far to get to the beach. It was quiet at night. Nice security. The owner tried to make us comfortable with a late checkout option.

We left the area and our vacation early because we were exhausted from the very loud heavy construction drilling, hammering and yelling around the corner which started at 7am and often lasted without stop until 6pm. One day it ended around 4?30 because of rain. It was impossible to even talk on the phone inside if the windows were open. It was summer and indeed they had to be. The owner stated there was no way to predict the noise. However, one should be warned that if you do not want to wake everyday at 7am or if you have to be in the apartment for any length of time during the day there will be loud construction which is predictable since it has been going on at least a year. If you sat outside on the balcony it was worse and in the evening the heavy smoking from below just came up into our space. The sheet (and I say 1 sheet singular) was rough like burlap and did not even fit the bed so either your feet or worse your face had direct contact with the mattress. There were no extra sheets to fix this problem. I tried to use 1 spare towel. The refrigerator had food remnants on every level and inside the freezer. Cabinets were greasy and I just tried to disinfect everything. The living room did not match the photo shown here, there is no hanging chair. There was a TV, but there were only 4 local stations and the rest of the applications one would have already had to have a subscription to. There was no way to use other applications because the smart remote was not in the apartment. 500 pln deposit is uncomfortable to leave.
