HABIAN FUMADORES DENTRO DE LA HABITACION

Preferí retirarme del hostal antes ni siquiera me quede a dormir y busque otro hospedaje, en la habitación habían dos chicos fumando weed y habia una alarma de incendios que no funcionaba lol

Recomendadísimo !!!

Las instalaciones muy bien distribuidas, limpieza absoluta, personal atento. Nos brindaron las facilidades de utilizar las duchas luego de haber realizado nuestro check out antes de la hora. Custodia del equipaje también es un plus. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.

The place exceeded my expectations: Travelling alone, I felt home and well surrounded.

The staff, the location, the room, the multitude of activities provided, etc... the list goes on. I would move, and live there permanently, If I could.

I love Selena Hostel!

Selena hostel is in a great location, just walking distance from restaurants, bars and shops. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed the Arepas making class that took place in the kitchen on my first night there! They always have fun events going on. I loved the cute little coffee shop downstairs which was so nice and convenient when you wake up and want to grab a cup of coffee and quick breakfast. My room was clean and my stay was very comfortable. There wasn’t a lot of noise which was one of my favorite things about this hostel.

I expercted more from Selina

Location was good

The private room was very bad furnished. Common bathroom was dirty. Yoga classes were planned but they did not take place. The bar closed very early

Excelente Experiencia!!!

en realidad todo me gusta de estos Hostales, son comodos, el desayuno es muy bueno, hay muchas actividades que puedes hacer como yoga, tours, etc... tienen coWorking lo cual es excelente por que trabajo en lìnea y la atenciòn de los recepcionistas siempre es excelente, cerca de restaurantes y de un centro comercial por lo que se merece un 10 de calificación...

Probably nicer places to stay

Location was good and the salsa class.

A couple of things: 1. Room is a bit grim and needs some TLC. Did not feel clean. Windows are very thin and it was noisy (I know the Selina cannot control this). No a/c and hot water was limited 2. Staff were disorganized and unhelpful. The bar during the salsa class was chaotic and did not seem as though anyone was trained properly 3. Aside from the salsa class, there was not much else happening and the bar was not open for the other nights we were there

Llevo varios días solicitando la factura electronica y no me han dado respuesta, por favor prestar atencion a este tema porque estan incumpliendo una norma tributaria.

No me gustó que no hay citofono,hay demasiado ruido de la calle es decir las ventanas son convencionales,el ruido interno es peor,la comida llega fría en el restaurante y sobre valorada,vi como otros huéspedes se quejaban y la chica de la recepción no le buscaba solución decía que enviar una carta a quejas,cuando ingrese me dijeron que tenía desayuno incluido y cuando fui a desayunar me lo cobraron,eso me molestó por qué las personas se sentían incómodas y no hay alguien que atienda un reclamo o una urgencia,los pasillos son oscuros,realmente es un lugar incómodo con mucho valor económico para ser un hotel u hostal,no volvería ni lo recomiendo.

Muy mala atencion por parte del personal, las habitaciones compartidas estaban en pesimas condiciones y ni hablar del servicio de restaurante, los servicios de demoraban una hora o más

I won't come back, I paid a lot of money and on top of that, staff wanted to charge me IVA for all.

The bed was comfy.

There is a construction going on near the hotel, so it is extremely noisy during the day and at night there are no restrictions to guests that do parties in the rooms. Very hard to sleep or rest.

Tired rooms and more attention to the new kitten at the front desk.

Room 805 was ver pleasant and what we expected. If all rooms were like this we would have had a different stay.

We were given a room with the a/c broken (804). Our other room (803) had an a/c that was partially working, a strong odor of drain from the bathroom, and backing on to a party in a mariachi restaurant. We were able to change the room with no a/c only after insisting quite strongly. The front desk was more interested in playing with their new kitten. Perhaps the kitten was staying in the most expensive rooms?

High end price for low end quality of service - avoid at any price.

Large room.

- Didn’t gave us the correct room (the one we paid for) the first night. The second room didn’t have hot water the second day. - Very noisy neighbourhood, don’t expect silence before 1 or 2 am and no double glazed windows. - Poor breakfast, nothing except eggs, coffee or porridge. Everything else is chargeable (even orange juice or hot chocolate). Very long wait (not even got served after 1h45). - Don’t book tours with Selina, we ended-up paying 22$ per person for what was actually a free tour. - For the price range, we were expecting at least reasonable quality. Avoid at any price.

Great place, very bad service

The rooms are great, the place is very clean and the location is amazing

It’s crazy to see how the employees just make 0 efforts. It is our 4th Selina in a row and we accidentally booked 3 nights instead of 2. Employees refused to cancel the extra night (despite having spent a total of 8 nights in Selina). As we arrived, nothing was explained to us. We were offered only one option for breakfast because they did not bother showing us the other options we had. I was asked to come and pay on our second day at 11pm (??) This will be our last stay in a Selina

really unclean, doesn’t look like that the staff clean the rooms everyday. and there aren’t minimum rules in the rooms, people let the luggage in the middle of the room and doesn’t respect the space of other.

yow wait 10 min in avg for elevator, rooms are very small and crammed. toilet always dirty. no air conditioning. very pricey compared to other hostels. the crew is rude and unhelpful.

Very cool decoration, with lots of street art. Friendly staff.

Very poor sound isolation of bedroom. There’s a club in front of the hotel with music until 4am. It sounds like the party is in your room. Only warm shower water, not hot.

So much potential but seriously falling short.

the location is great, the facilities are great, great hot water showers. but unfortunately that’s where the compliments end.

All but one of the staff members that we dealt with were unhelpful and disinterested in doing their job. We were given almost no info at check in re welcome drinks, activities, breakfast. At 11am (check out) there was literally one staff member on (the helpful one though) which meant there was a big slow queue. The night club is really loud until 3.30am. We were prepared for that (it is Medellin after all) but just make sure you bring earplugs if you don’t plan to be IN the nightclub until then. my tip to Selina: Get your staff to go and stay at Viajero Hostel for a night. The location of Selina is better, but otherwise Viajero is 10x better - take a leaf from their play book.
