Out stay at Hotel Elvezia was wonderful. The room has stunning views at the lake and a big balcony for yourself. The room has nice size, good shower and the personal is attentive. The restaurant also is very good, attentive staff and excellent food. At night most of the tourist go home and you can have the island just for yourself. Beautiful place!

Very friendly staff, a lovely view from the room, and the hotel restaurant were wonderful spectacular. In addition, the tour of the Castle and gardens was wonderful. I recommend only a one-night stay, as there is nothing else to do.

I didn't realize that you leave your car and take to ferry to the Island. The ferry system is crazy. If you have luggage, I recommend that you ask for the ferry that takes you right in front of the hotel. There are multiple ferry vendors, all independent and trying to sell. Otherwise, you have to lug your luggage. The island is minute and loaded with tourists and touristy sales stands.

Lovely romantic hotel in the middle of the lake.

The location was excellent because it was across the street from the Isola Bella Ferry terminal. The views of Lago Maggiore from our balcony were breathtaking. The room was tastefully decorated in country French style. We loved all of the finishing touches including the natural granite slab in the bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and dinner was also very good.

Fantastic location (bring your paddle board!) Amazing views Lovely staff Very nice breakfast and restaurant Value for money compared with other places in Stresa

Each night there were fairly large groups eating on the restaurant terrace just below my windows, which was loud. And early in the morning I heard glass bottles being moved and what sounded like a lawnmower. I could get back to sleep, but light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.

A perfect little hotel in a perfect location.

Excellent choice at breakfast with the added bonus of being on the veranda with stunning views. Attentive staff. Stunning location. Comfortable bed with fabulous view from window.

beautiful hotel in perfect location staff are so attentive and food in the restaurant was excellent. breakfast was one of the best- fruit, cheese, yoghurts, cereals, bread, juice, coffee, cakes…all served on the terrace with most incredible views highly recommend

Really lovely hotel, with exceptional staff going out of their way for guests. We had a really nice dinner at the hotel restaurant, food and drink really good with beautiful views. Would definitely stay here again

Lake beauty

The room were lovely. spacious, had balcony and view of the lake.

It was disappointing that the island activities and shops close by 6 pm and the last boat to return to the island is 7 pm. only way to get back to the island then is by private boat taxi and that should be prearranged.

Superb

The staff were outstanding, exceptionally friendly and helpful. Especially want to mention (I think he was called) Marco who was really knowledgeable and attentive. The restaurant and menu was brilliant.

The balcony furniture wasn’t relaxing - the table was so big it was almost impossible to sit in the chairs!

Unique location, Isola Bella is a real Italian Pearl After 7pm the island is empty and you can enjoy the place Lake rooms have amazing view Super nice staff Delicious hotel restaurant Rooms are clean
