Amazing place to stay in La Rioja wine valley. Sleepy little village with cobblestone streets with good food and cheap wine! The host was very nice...didn't speak much English (not a necessity), but was very nice and accommodating.

It was slightly warm and no A/C but the owner put us in a cooler room. The weather is not the owner's fault, so no blame.

I had some work to do, but the wifi wasn’t available. The owner was super helpful and did her best to get it fixed before we left.

Everything was great!!! One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Virginia was so lovely! She gave us a tour in her property. I’ll never forget it, it was so unique! She welcomed us with fresh flowers and the place was delightfully decorated and smelled delicious! It had a balcony with charming views of the town. The beds were the most comfortable. The bathroom was lovely decorated too, and super clean. We absolutely enjoyed our stay!!! Thank you so much Virginia for your hospitality. You are a super host!!! We’ll try to come back soon!!!

Virginia was exceptionally kind and friendly. She was a wonderful host. The accommodation was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay in Mayor 35 and would highly recommend it.

Location was excellent on the main Street of Laguardia walking distance to everything. Quiet tiny courtyard out of the windows so even over the weekend was very quiet at night. Very clean. Friendly owner provided good local tips.

We stayed during a very unseasonably cool end of July- max 25 degrees. Because of the lack of air through the courtyard/no aircon or fan we found the room stuffy and very warm at night. We really do think this would have been a major problem at normal temperatures, as it affected our sleep even at these low temps. To make up for lost sleep we had a siesta one afternoon and the host was introducing new guests to the bedroom. Anyone talking in the stairway is very loud and you can hear loudly in the room, wouldn’t bother us normally as guests but the fact we were trying to snooze made it annoying. No noise whatsoever however overnight other gusts seemed very respectful.

- personnel didn‘t speak English - room was extremely hot and there was no air conditioning or similar - wifi did not work in the rooms - no additional treats like free water, coffee (there was a machine but no capsules) - no breakfast or alike despite advertised

The Mayor 35 is located right in the middle of the historic district - a pedestrian zone. When you step out the door you are right in the middle of everything. Although is has no air conditioning the massive walls keep the room nicely cool - even in hot summer days. Wifi was working without any problems.

The breakfast was reduced to a self-service coffee machine and an some packed cookies.

Beautiful facility. Sparkling clean. Close to everything worth visiting, walking distance to many. Many good eating options within walking distance. Gracious hostess.
