Prachtige locatie, heerlijk eten!

Zeer mooi hotel, ruime kamer en badkamer. Heel hygiënisch en de tuin is prachtig! Ontbijt was uitgebreid en heerlijk. Zeer vriendelijk personeel!

Exceptional

Awesome place to stay, rooms are very comfy, we swapped to a bigger room for our second night, which was great with a view of the garden. The staff is very friendly, beds are extremely comfy, everything you need is there. Food at the restaurant is awesome, the chef is doing a great job, fresh seafood, veggies and good wines to combine. Eating in their garden is lovely.

We had a great stay after a long walk on the Camino di Ronda.

Excellent food!! Very creative cooking. Very friendly staff. Superb building. You can finish your evening with an excellent wine at the open fire.

Exceptional

This place is a gem. The service is friendly and professional at the same time. The food is excellent and vety good value. We enjoyed the gourmet dinner with local wines. Breakfast was very nice too and with a different spread than the usual. We felt very welcome with our dog, which was allowed everywhere in the hotel and restaurant. We will definitely repeat

Country charm with modern amenities.

This hotel had the charm of being in the country with all the modern amenities. We booked a junior suite which was spacious and it had a loft that we did not need to use. There was a doorway that was low, and my 6 foot husband bumped his head a couple of times, so watch out. The staff was super nice and helpful. We loved the large wood burning fireplace in the common area. We had dinner and breakfast here and the food was quite good. Highly recommend this hotel.

Not really a negative of the property, but we came during the off season, so the town was a bit deserted.

Great, but can improve

- Overall architecture and decorations. - Excellent breakfast.

- active road is very close by and no trees in between. - no wifi in the room (too weak signal). - noisy aquarium. Not sure about who would think it is cool. - the lobster dish was way to salty for our taste.

Beautiful top quality hotel just outside of L'escala

This is a very nice hotel in an old beautifully refurbished flour mill. It's located just outside of L'Escala but very much within walking distance from the town center or beaches. It also sits on local walking and biking trails so you can start them from your doorstep. We booked a superior double but ended up in a junior suite. This particular junior suite is not in the main building but in a separate building adjacent to the outside dining and lunch area. We stayed there in the offseason so there was no outside eating but I can imagine that in summer the terrace causes a lot of noise when you are in your room and people are eating and chatting right next to you. The room is fitted for disabled people with a ramp, a large open shower but also a toilet without any separation from the rest of the room. The mattress is on the hard side and wifi is not super but it does the job. There's also a safe, a fridge and a sofa. I don't know the high season prices but the low season prices are actually on the low side so for us this was a bit of a steal. To top things off: there is also a high end restaurant for fine dining on site.

The toilet situation might feel awkward for some.

Very good

Spacious room, great shower, lovely building respectfuly renovated. Private entrance to room.

Restaurant on the expensive side compared to local restaurants. No big deal but it is the first hotel I have ever stayed in where there was no room cleaning service during the day, e.g. beds not made.

Room was rustic style but luxurious. It was separate from the main building which also seemed equally beautiful. The breakfast was a stunning buffet of fabulous fruit, sweets, meats and cheeses. Very high quality. We had a fabulous meal at a reasonable price. Public transport from Girona where we flew into - infrequent but very comfortable and cheap. 2-3 minute walk to hotel from the bus stop. 10 min walk to the beach.

I was happy with everything. Other restaurants were probably about 15 min walk away, but the hotel restaurant was way better value for the same price as one other we tried.

Very pleasant stay for two nights. Would go again.

The room was very clean and comfortable. very good bathroom. Breakfast was a good selection. Very friendly young girl serving us. Evening meal was good.

Great Hotel would stay again

Mattress exceptionally comfortable. Big room really good shower. Sheets and towels changed every day. Good restaurant and reasonable price. Lovely breakfast. Sitting room with free coffee machine. Lovely garden for a pre dinner drink. Would definitely stay again. Staff very welcoming.

FRIENDLY WELCOM ON ARRIVAL. THE HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL, BOTH ROOMS AND OUTSIDE AREAS. HAD A FANTASTIC MEAL IN THE HOTEL RESTAURANT.

Would definitely go back again

Very friendly staff. Amazing breakfast. Lovely surroundings. The historical ruins are near and lovely beaches and walks.

We had a beautiful converted barn room. Really exceptional but it was a little hard to keep it warm. Front door not insulated. However, we were there in February so I'm sure in Summer its wonderful

A lovely small hotel, just on the end ge of town, with all the pleasures of a country inn.

Ate the best dinner in four months travelling in Spain. Many thanks to the chef who went way above and beyond to produce a really exceptional, delicious and original vegetarian dinner.
