Enjoy this quaint cottage-style home. This home was freshly painted inside & outside & has all new stainless appliances fall of 2024. Both bedrooms are made up with beautiful designer linens and pillows. The living room has a new 55' flat screen TV. Master bedroom has a King bed with 48' flat screen TV. Guest bedroom has a queen size bed. This home is equipped with WIFI, cable TV and washer/dryer. A queen size air mattress is available upon request. ***Please note this is a NON SMOKING home.

Nice rental with a convenient location. Not far from Siesta Key Beach, stores, etc. Home had what we needed and owner was very helpful and responsive. We felt very comfortable even with the passing of Tropical Storm Debby (which became Hurricane Debby)! The neighborhood offered great opportunity for walks.

We had a great stay in this little house. I loved that everything for a trip to the beach was provided including sand toys, chairs, towels, umbrella, noodles, a cooler, and a bag. The kitchen is also fully stocked. The king bed is incredibly comfortable. The house was very clean too. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return again.

This is a renovated older home in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was friendly and helpful when we needed batteries for a remote. House was clean. The king sized bed is quite high, my mom is somewhat short and was not able to climb in it. This isn't a criticism, just information for future visitors. One critique is that the shower should have grips or rails to hold onto when stepping in/out of the bathtub. It isn't a walk-in shower, and some older or disabled people may have difficulties getting in and out. Overall, this is a nice place to rent and we would recommend it.

I stayed at the property with my parents. This is a clean and well equipped rental. It has everything you need for the beach, a grill, and bikes! The decor is also very nice. Although we dined out, you could easily make meals with the items available in the kitchen. Depending on who you are traveling with, sharing the one bathroom could be a challenge. We appreciated Nancy promptly coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out.

This property is fabulous! The location is great and the neighborhood is safe.
It is very clean, cute and comfortable. The hosts offer beach gear (beach umbrella, chairs, toys, a cooler and a tote cart), which was fabulous for our day at the beach. There were also 2 bikes available for guest use.
We spent evenings in the back porch, playing games and enjoying the wonderful weather.
We would definitely stay here again, it's top of the line!

This is one of the nicest properties we've stayed in. The pictures accurately reflect the home, and it was very clean, with comfortable beds. What was unusual, though, was the thoughtfulness of the owner in providing extras that are rarely given - hand soap in the kitchen and bath, dish detergent, laundry detergent, extra garbage bags, coffee filters, condiments, and plenty of towels for both the kitchen and bath. This is in addition to the beach 'stuff', and bicycles! And it made for such a relaxing vacation, as we did not immediately need to run to the store so we could wash our hands. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood, which we appreciated, and the screened porch is the berries! We spent every evening out there, as well as eating most of our meals there. Just a lovely property, and Nancy was SO easy to deal with, and very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Nancy is about the nicest and most accommodating hostess I have rented from. Her house was only 15 minutes from Siesta Key Beach and surrounding areas. It was very easy and convenient to get to. The bonus was that everything you needed to go to the beach with - she had it. The AC worked amazingly great, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything necessary to cook and or make coffee.

Nancy was great. We had an issue with the plumbing (toilet would not flush), she got a plumber over right away. The location is very close to Siesta Key beach and the strip of restaurants. We had a great time at the cottage.

My husband and I spent the 2023 winter in Nancy and Doug's comfortable cottage in Gulf Gate. We enjoyed eating out on the lanai. The neighborhood is pleasant, quiet and a great place for taking a walk or riding the bikes. It is an easy drive to Siesta Beach and Myakka River State Park. It was also easy to get downtown. There are lots of good restaurants nearby, as well as grocery stores and a CVS.

Wonderful Getaway
We stayed at Nancy’s place for a week and it was absolutely amazing! Nancy was extremely nice and helpful and the house was really clean and fully equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable too. The location of the house was great and not far from the beach and good restaurants. Nancy had everything we needed for the beach which helped a lot since we flew there from Ohio. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks Nancy for your hospitality and for making our trip great!!

Very clean, beautifully decorated property in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Nancy was very welcoming and communication with her was excellent. Lovely cottage in quiet neighborhood
My husband and I stayed here for an extended stay. Owners were very responsive, easy to reach and addressed any issues that arose. The house is charming, comfortable and the owners have added lots of homey touches that made our stay even more comfortable. Loved the big gas grill and enjoyed our meals on the screened porch. The neighborhood was quiet and nice for walking. Grocery stores and pharmacies are nearby, as are some great restaurants. There are also some terrific places nearby for hiking.

Relaxing vacation getaway!
We enjoyed our stay in Nancy's home immensely! The home was clean, comfortable and inviting and the quiet street/neighborhood was a good fit for our family. The fenced in backyard made a great place for our 21 month old to run around and play. We loved the fact that it was only a short drive to the beach (about 10 min), as well as the grocery store since we visited both frequently during our stay.

Sarasota Vacation Treat
This was an excellent property extremely clean and well maintained. We had an air conditioning problem on a weekend and no service people were available that night so Nancy graciously made arrangements for a motel for that night. The property is located 12 minutes from Siesta Key Beach and 15 minutes from many dining establishments. Great experience!

Another Great Vacation
This is our third time staying at this property. The house was clean and comfortable and stocked with all the necessary essentials. The garage was loaded with all kinds of beach items, including folding chairs, umbrella, noodles, etc.(and bicycles, too!).The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, so noise was never a problem. The overall experience was pleasant and relaxing.
We must add that Doug and Nancy were exemplary hosts and were able to answer all of our questions.

Nancy was such an awesome host & the house was spotless & cozy! Spent a lot of time in the hammock in the early evening & then rode bicycles (which they have in the garage) around the neighborhoods. Don’t worry about bringing beach chairs or umbrellas because all that stuff is there too! There’s a Publix right around the corner as well as a CVS & Walgreens. Anything else you could need or want is close by & Nancy has lists made of stores, restaurants & activities! I would HIGHLY recommend eating dinner at Owens Fish Camp. I honestly could go on & on forever about how much we enjoyed our time there & cant wait to visit again!
