We really enjoyed our stay in unit 113. Had plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 kids and a baby. Loved the back deck, it was very peaceful. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Our group has stayed at the Island Club for several years and we are noticing that the houses are starting to look run down and in need of repairs. This year we experienced one of the master bedroom sinks not draining, one of the remotes did not have a battery (so we couldn't watch tv), one of the kitchen cabinet doors would not close all of the way, a lamp in one of the bedrooms did not work, we were not given extra garbage bags and there was tape holding some of the molding on to the wall. We were somewhat disappointed and will most likely look for another place to stay in the future that is in better shape.

Nice resort, enjoyed our stay. We were surprised at the simple conveniences that' were missing though. As instructed we brought our linens and towels. The only thing furnished in bathroom was toilet paper. No soap, shampoo, the normal staples you would expect. Also no toilet paper holder, no towel racks in either bathroom. No place to hang towels of any kind. No paper towels in kitchen. Need to be prepared to bring all these things to the island or purchase there. Very simple fixes would have made our stay much more comfortable.

The house was great, perfect size for the 12 of us. The only downfall was the television was broken and when we called to have it looked at, no one came. We grabbed a worker outside of the party and asked them to see if they can fix it. They looked at it and said they would be right back but then never came back. So we were out of a television all weekend which was a bummer for the sports boys.

There were a few issues with this rental. First we were told that we were not allowed in our house until 4 pm or we would lose our security deposit. However, upon arrival there were multiple people in the surrounding rentals that arrived much earlier. We were brought papers to sign for the rental and even they said they were surprised they said 4 pm. On top of that, the cleaning people left all of their supplies laying in the middle of the house as well as a large trash bag. It didn't even look like they cleaned the house as there were dirty washcloths still in the shower. The house over was in pretty bad shape. One of the toilets was not even connected to the floor and there was mold in the house. Very disappointed in the house and management for the amount of money we paid.

The cabin was not clean, in the kitchen the light over the island had hundreds of dead bugs in it, it was so disgusting, that should be torn down immediately, there were spider webs with bugs hanging all from the kitchen ceiling. the floors were dirty, the counter tops in the kitchen were dirty, the carpet was dirty. there were bugs in the bath tub and sinks. The back patio door did not even lock, there was no smoke detector. There was no stopper for the master bedroom tub and the jets did not work. all the lamps were leaning over, the washer control panel was very loose about t fall off, you had to hold it down to turn the controls. Both decks were filthy. When we checked in we had to call, I spent almost 2 hours cleaning on the first day to even feel somewhat comfortable and the second day I had to mop floors.. you don't pay $200 a night to go in and have to clean like your the cleaning person. I had to have them fixed the lock on the patio and the second day they came and blew off the deck... they didn't and couldn't do anything about the hundreds of bugs and the light in the kitchen. the kitchen table was all torn up, we could not even sit at it, then in the family room area they had this huge futon in the way, that you could barely walk thru there. This cabin needs some work and I think it is against the board of health to have those hundreds of bugs in a light right over where you prepare food. The location was good, the outside needs some work also. I cant believe they had us staying in this cabin and did not clean it or have it ready for us. We tried to stay in town till 9:00 each night so we wouldn't be in the cabin long, I was not happy with it at all and I called the office several times and expressed that.

This is the second time I have stayed in 113 and I couldn’t believe how much it changed from last year. 113 was very very dirty this year. Not from other guests from lack of someone coming in and just dusting and washing the floors. I’m not looking for a place to stay that is spotless but this was over the top dirty. We also had a major ant problem. Not only were they in our food we brought for the week we also woke up to them crawling on us at night. We also had squirrels that found a way into the ceiling and walls. They didn’t bother us but you could hear them running around! We still had a good time. I did call and say something so hopefully they will get it back in order.

This will be our third year in #113 for Spring Fling and for the most part, we do not have any major complaints. There was an Island Club staff (unsure of name) who asked several guests of #113 how they were able to stay in that location, asked us "who do you know to get this house?" and had a hard time believing that we have been staying in #113 for a few years now. The staff wasnt rude, but continued to question the guests and asked sevearl times. Also, upon arrival this year, there were crumbs on the counter top, the fridge was missing the handle (island club staff notified), there was what appeared to be black mold in the dishwasher so we did not want to wash our dishes in there, there was no vacuum in the house to clean any messes throughout the weekend. and the bathrooms had the same issues that they have had in the past years. In the main bathroom, the toilet wobbles and is loose. When you sit on it, it will rock. The flooring in the bathroom is also popped and raised in a few areas throughout. As said before, there are not too many complaints, however, if we are spending the money we are spending to stay in these cabins for the weekend, I would expect the cabins to have general upkeep and be cleaned and ready for the next group to come in. The problems in the bathroom with the toilets and flooring have been an issue (mentioned to Island Club staff in previous years) the last couple times we have stayed in #113. We love the cabin location and truly enjoy our stay but would like to see the house to be cleaner and small issues fixed to feel as if we are receiving a quality stay for what we are paying. Other than that, we had a blast and love Island Club hospitality. Thanks for another fun weekend!

I planned a bachelorette party for my girlfriend here based on the fact I had stayed here in the past for another bachelorette party. 113 could use a lot of work and cleaning. Bugs and broken items throughout the house. The 4th bedroom is supposed to have 2 full/full queen beds in there, and there is only one- not even enough room for another. With all this being said, I addresses my concerns with the property company and they handled things very well. I recommend staying at the Island Club, just not in this unit.

I've stayed at Island Club two times previous, and this was by far the nicest unit I have been to. It was a perfect fit for 12 people and had a great feel. The lot is large and allowed for several types of yard games to be setup at once. It is tucked away which can be a negative or positive depending how you look at it. We were not "right in the middle" of everything going on, but had no problems meeting new people and didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone.Island Club was attentive to any needs we had and the manager stopped by the first day to introduce herself and give us a few pieces of advice for the island.The group found themselves out to the bar every night and Mr. Ed's was the group favorite. During a hot day the Island Club pool was awesome and the party was at the pool bar called Mist.All the cab drivers were awesome and quick to come get you and take you wherever you want.Definitely one of the best weekends of my life.

The cabin was good for my bachelorette party. We had 12 girls, had plenty of room, and the bathroom was nice and big for all us. You can tell this was a party house though. The wall décor fell if you shut the door to hard and a couple of the chairs were broken when we arrived. Our TV didn't work right and we called maintenance to come and fix it but they never showed. Overall we had a blast. I would recommend this to anyone having a large party that basically just need a roof and some beds to crash after drinking all night.

There were numerous things wrong with the property, including broken furniture, leaking toilet, and broken lights. And for a house with 12 people at $2600 you would think more than 3 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, and 3 trash bags would be provided. Had a great girls trip. The house was clean and glad we decided to stay at this location. We got stranded on the island due to marine flood warnings and they didn't make us pay for the additional night. I will absolutely suggest Island Club Rentals to others. The taxi drivers were very prompt and extremely helpful. The only thing I was disappointed in was we had really bad weather so we were stuck in the house most the of the weekend. Cable was hit and miss due to the weather. We called Dottie, asked her to bring us a power cord for the dvd player or bring us a different player so we have TV? When I talked to her in the morning she was told us that once her worker came in they will bring us a DVD player. Called her two times after that and left a message and no reply or even a call back. Pretty disappointed in her reply and follow through.

Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed with our rental home. Although the home was fairly clean, it was in a state of utter disrepair. The rugs were stained. The kitchen table was so wobbly we couldn't eat on it for fear it would fall apart. Two of the kitchen chair seats were broken. The top of the washing machine where the knobs were was falling off. I am surprised that it even worked. Some of the lamps hardly worked and the overhead lights flickered and dimmed often making me feel a little uneasy about the electrical wiring. The home sleeps 12 but the living room can only accommodate about 6 to watch TV. My parents tried to use the jet tub but when they turned the jets on the water turned black from some type of sediment in the jets. There were many posted rules around the home that I t seemed as if management was very concerned about how we were treating the home but not concerned with their end of the upkeep. The shades on the bedroom windows are see through so you really can't get changed in there. In fact, one morning there appeared a groundsman right outside our window blowing leaves while I was getting dressed. We rented two golf carts from Island Club as well. One was very sluggish so we called for a replacement. Someone came and picked it up and returned shortly after with the same exact cart. We didn't realize it at first because they never came to the door to let us know they had returned. Also, the screen door didn't close all the way. The pool was okay and seemed clean. We are pretty flexible people and tend to view things casually. This didn't ruin our vacation but overall we were very unhappy with this rental. I wouldn't recommend it.

I enjoyed the island, however the home itself was terrible. It seemed as though the property was not cleaned before arriving. First the back deck was not cleaned, there was dirty panties in one of the bedrooms, there was mold in the upper right side of the room, the beds weren't made, the kitchen was dirty and there was a hole in the floor. To top it off, the TV stopped working. I called for assistance and no one would come til the next day.

We had a great time! The location and transportation is very convenient. The house was spacious and perfect for what we needed. The floors were quite dirty however, and the amount of toilet paper and paper towels was extremely too short of what 12 people would need for a weekend. We ended up having to go to a store to buy extra of these items as well as certain cleaning supplies that we were under the impression would be in the house. There was no broom anywhere for us to clean up with, no sponges, and no hand soap.

A group of 12 of us spent an extended weekend at Island Club 113 and had a great time! The cottage next to us was under renovation and the dust and noise was a little annoying. We also found some utensils and pans were not in the kitchen, but that was not a major issue since we had brought some of our own. It was a perfect weekend and that staff was very friendly and the pool was great! Overall a really good experience.
