Come enjoy this cozy low country hideaway, attending a Marine graduation or simply enjoying a southern getaway. The Nest is nestled in the trees above The Proud Mary vrbo #875038. The Nest is just minutes from Historic downtown Beaufort , also just a 20 minute drive to Hunting Island Beach, This loft style apartment has an open sleeping and living area, with a fully stocked kitchen and dining nook, full size bathroom. The king size pillow top mattress is perfect for a peaceful nights sleep. The sofa pulls out to a queen size serta sleeper. enjoy movies on the 32" flat screen tv with netflix and internet connection.Relax with a cool drink on your porch and listen to the birds sing, take a stroll to neighborhood shops and restaurants or bike the amazing Spanish Moss trail on the two seated bike provided , fish or crab from the Port Royal Pier , put your boat in and experience the low country from the water or simply sit and soak up the sun at Sands beach all this and more in the charming seaside town of Port Royal. Cozy Nest.....Loved the tranquil neighborhood!

Great experience was in town for grandson’s graduation of the Marines. Perfect location close the Paris Island. Was able to get out and visit a few local establishments and a walk along the beach. Bed was comfortable and place was neat and tidy. Quite little hideaway. Would definitely stay again if in area. Easy check in and out. Owner very pleasant to work with. .

People down stairs did not let us get any sleep for four days. It would have been nice to know there were 19 steps to get to the nest and that it was in the attic. Old people need to know that. Found a cockroach in the bathroom. I hope they don’t get into our clothes. The place needs cleaned up and repaired. No smoke detectors either

My husband and I wanted a simple quiet weekend and we got it. The location was good. Others staying at the house were quiet, we were blessed.
I would have loved to have had a bench or trunk in the nook where the intimates chest was to put my luggage, maybe some hooks in that area to hang hand bag, etc. Updated fluffy pillows? Just some thoughts. It's an adorable place.
Suggestions for meals--Paninis in Beaufort, Lowcountry Cider Company on 21, Beebos on 21 and Fishcamp on 11th. All really great meals!!!

Messaged my host at 2:30am because this house is split up into a lot of little VRBOs. The people below us were up until 4am partying and screaming, loud music etc. i still have not gotten a message back from my host two weeks later.

My daughter and I stayed in the upstairs apartment known as “The Nest” for two nights to visit Port Royal and Beaufort. It was perfect for us, easy to find, and the location was great. Everything we needed for a weekend getaway was available and we appreciated the owners attention to detail. It was our home-away and I would certainly be happy to return. Thank you!

The Nest was cozy and exceeded my expectations. Port Royal is an amazing place and so wonderful to be able to walk everywhere from the rental. The view from the porch was fantastic, especially at night with a full moon. A very clean and safe location. I plan to return.

Beautiful property in the heart of a quiet beach town non-resort. Walking/bike riding distance to everything on the island. Do not have to leave the island if you don’t want.

Overall the property was nice, it was clean and close to Marine base where we went for a graduation. Only complaint is the people who rented below us were very loud, running back and forth , hammering at one point sounded like they were drilling. After second night of listening to it my husband went down to see what was going on and there were about 20 people in there with a bunch of kids running in the house. Other than that it was very pleasant

My partner and I stayed from December 13-15. We were freezing the entire time. The WiFi barely worked. The towels smelled horrible and were stained. The second night I took a shower and the water was freezing cold. I contacted the property manager. When explaining to her that I have an autoimmune issue and was freezing and both the heat and backup electric heater weren’t working, she cut me off very rudely and doubted that I had the heat on correctly. She came over and saw that it was actually set correctly but it wasn’t working. So, she plugged in the backup electric heater. She kept insisting it would work. But, it never did and my partner and I froze the entire night. She did give us extra blankets but it was just way too many. Overall, I am not happy with my stay and won’t be returning.

We visited for our grandson’s USMC boot camp graduation at Parris Island. The location was perfect. Walking distance to great restaurants. Minutes to the events on Pattis Island. Highly recommend.

Quick ride to Paris island. Only took about 45 to Hilton head when we decided to go to the beach, which was absolutely beautiful. Place was perfect. Nice quite neighborhood.

Absolutely loved this home. “The Nest” is pretty, cheerful .. and so cozy. It was nice to come “home” after a day exploring Port Royal/Beaufort. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud. Phoebe has many little extra touch's all around The Nest that make it that much nicer. This home is close to the water and is in a nice quiet neighborhood. I loved sitting out on the deck early in the morning, listening to the birds and just taking it all in. We plan on returning, we’d like to live in the area. We will definitely stay at The Nest again! Thank you, Phoebe!

We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. Bed was great with plenty of room for the two of us. Drawbacks lacking of hand towels in the bathroom, TV stations would cut out due to weak signal. Couldn’t get Netflix to work. We brought our own fire stick so that was the only way to watch TV. Pheobe was receptive to our needs and will look into the problems we had.
