About this house rental
Fabulous prime location. We bought this Morningside Townhome recently because of its superior location and being able to walk to the beach, golf course or anywhere downtown. We have completed renovations and we have three full bedrooms and two full baths. We have furnished it with $37,000 worth of new upscale bedding and Adirondack style furnishings. Each bedroom has a new 48' HD TV and the living room has a incredible 75' HD TV. (like going to the movies!) Check out 'Elmer the moose' hanging in the living room! Patios on both 1st & 2nd floor. One king bdrm, one queen bdrm and both a queen & twin in 3rd bdrm. Enjoy! Permit#200208

Fully stocked kitchen(plates/utensils/etc). Great vibes for me & the boys to have a spot to chill out after a day on whiteface. Super short walk to the brewery, the bowling alley & wise guys. Little bit farther from Main Street but still manageable. No cable so we had a hard time figuring out how to stream the football games. We managed to get on YouTube TV on the smart TV setup they had. We were very happy with our stay.

Great experience staying in lake placid for the first time. The property is close to everything and spacious for a group of 7 that we had. The property owner was very responsive and great to deal with. We would all stay at moose lodge again !

Beautiful place to stay, walking distance into town, quiet neighborhood and so close to the high peaks for hiking making the end of our day an easy drive. Also great that's it's dog friendly so I can bring my hiking companions with me.

This is an amazing place to stay in Lake Placid! It is in a great location where you can walk around Mirror Lake and in to town. It has everything you could possibly want or need. The 3 bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is large and has everything you need like pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc. and the dining area and living space was perfect for 6 of us (3 couples). Would absolutely stay here again!

Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and Main Street. Quiet neighborhood despite proximity to downtown. Comfy furnishings that make you feel at home in the Adirondacks. Wonderfully equipped kitchen! We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful townhouse. We were very happy with our choice. The only issue was there was no internet. The tvs were fire tvs so you needed the internet to watch them. Overall a great place to stay.

The property is superb! They have anticipated the needs of travelers in an exceptional way, including two working dryers (perfect for winter trips). The townhouse is well maintained and extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals on the days we chose not to try out some of the great restaurants in town. The home is within walking distance to Mirror Lake and Main Street.
The only issue, which is completely out of the owners control, was the tenacious local flying insects known as midges. They were awful, the worst in many years according to locals. Active in June and July, they can cause some serious bites. Insect repellant and cover up.

Amazing stay at Moose Lodge! The townhouse was very well-equipped for cooking, but also conveniently located a short walk from Main Street restaurants and shops. It was ideal for a late-season spring skiing/hiking getaway. Very roomy and comfortable. Looking forward to returning!

We stayed for a visit to refresh and renew up in beautiful Lake Placid! This townhome is spotless, very comfortable and in a location where you can walk to town and to the the lake. There's a walking path around the lake and I walked my dogs there every day. We had a relaxing stay and tried a new restaurant every evening. We had a minor car problem and Mr. Ray was very accommodating and helpful. We are defineetly planning to come back!

We were in town for an event at the 1980 Arena. Even with snow on the ground, it was still easily in walking distance to the arena and all that Main Street has to offer. It is beautifully decorated in the Adirondack style - pictures were spot on! The kitchen was well stocked, making our stay easy and very enjoyable. Thank you to the owners for sharing their amazing place!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were only four, but the condo would have accommodated double that. The condo was clean (we’re very nit picky!!), convenient to town and Whiteface, and well appointed. Beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious. Ron was responsive and helpful. We didn’t find ourselves missing anything and hope to go back next year!!

We stay in Lake Placid frequently and found this townhouse to be well-appointed, neat, and clean. The location is perfect! You're still in town, but feel miles away. The living room is comfy and the fireplace is amazing.
It's a short walk to the playground (which is a must-have for toddler parents) and you can walk to anywhere in the village within 15 minutes.
Pro tip 1: look at the map on the fridge for a walking shortcut to town!
Pro tip 2: Look inside the ottoman for board games.

This townhouse was absolutely perfect in the decor, the fully equipped kitchen and just a short walk to Mirror Lake and into town. Our only disappointment was a Buffalo Bills loss as we watched at a great sports bar in the village. GO BILLS!!

Wonderful townhouse in perfect location. Very short walk (with cut-throughs) to mirror lake beach area. Golf just across street. Short walk to Lake Placid Brewery, ice skating, Olympic museum, downtown shops and restaurants, etc. Home is beautiful; wonderfully decorated with Adirondack and olympic / outdoor sports themes. Even has books on the history of lake placid. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Family Getaway
This property was everything it was advertised to be and a perfect location. We found the beds and furniture to be very comfortable and loved how easy it was to get anywhere in town we wanted to go. Parking was easy and for a pet friendly rental you wouldn’t even know it with how nicely kept the space is. Hope to stay again!

Perfect place to stay
What a great place, the Moose Lodge! The property was spotless and captured the Adirondacks feeling perfectly. My husband and I, along with our 3 teenage daughters and their friends, stayed for 3 nights and it was the perfect size. Location was ideal, parking was easy, neighbors were kind, kitchen was great. I could go on and on about how wonderful our stay was. Can’t wait to return.
