This was the perfect spot for a Bachelor Party gathering. We had a great time all weekend. The house had plenty of space to accommodate all that attended. It was fully loaded with amenities. We also used the back barn, which gave us a great spot to be outside, play yard games and enjoy each others company! The location of this place was great very close to where ever you needed to go in local area and perfect view of the Lake! The host was readily available and easy to communicate with. The check in and check out process was smooth.

Total Eclipse ruined. Didn't stay. Place was uninhabitable. Owner was staying in house. It was smokey, filled with garbage, dog feces and urine. VRBO did not help us find another property even though we shared pictures and had contact with them and they talked to the host. Host agreed to cancel so we could get a refund and never did. Still trying to work with VRBO to get money back for a vacation that never happened.

The location was great as it was very close to the Marina and good restaurants reasonable distance. Cameron was a great host. He checked with us several time to make sure everything was ok. Ready to reserve for next year.

Upon arrival, the check in was smooth. Once we started exploring, we noticed quite a lack of cleanliness, general housekeeping and the worst part was a big patch of mold in the main hallway. Cameron is a nice guy, but this property needs serious attention. Weeds growing up through the deck with the lake view, very dirty outdoor furniture with sounder webs growing off of them. The grass was recently mowed and mulched, leaving tons of clippings all over. Screens are all broken so you can’t even open windows for fresh air without letting bugs in. An old garbage can full of very old garbage sits on the east side of the home instead of being removed. Some TLC and this could be a solid property. 8 guys on a golf getaway weekend can deal with it, but my family would have not accepted the conditions.

Property manager was mowing the lawn and left clippings. Hard not to track grass everywhere including into the house. The party barn was littered with owner’s personal belongings and not cleaned. It was also further from the house than anticipated. However the owner was on site quite a bit to check in on our group to ask if we needed or wanted anything.

Wonderful location and beautiful view of Lake Erie. In spite of the many knickknacks throughout the house, it suited our group of 6 adults and 7 children well enough.
The host was available to answer any questions or help if needed.
The only downside was that it was impossible to wash the towels, linens and dishes, and then put them away while also feeding children, packing up and getting ready for travel. So if there’s a penalty for that, so be it.

It’s exactly what we expected. Slept in the house but spent all our time in the barn. Played cards, pool, darts and watched football. If you are throwing a bachelor party I would recommend this place. Golf course was 15 minutes down the road.

Simply wonderful!
We stayed at Cam's place for the annual Thunder on the Strip bike rally. There were 9 of us and PLENTY of room for everyone! (4 couples and a single) This location is just beautiful inside and there is plenty of back yard space to cook out or enjoy a night by the fire. The interior of the home is super spacious and pretty much everything we needed was right there! It is far enough from the strip that we weren't up all night with noise from the bars (not walking distance for sure) but close enough it didn't take forever to get to the places we wanted to be. Cam, the owner, was super friendly and helpful in locating less busy places to eat with such a big group. I honestly don't have anything to complain about! Some might balk at couples having to share a bedroom but, for our group, it was just fine. Would definitely stay again!

Good spot for bachelor party
Good time and get away. Had a bachelor party setup and had games with drinking and hanging out. Not far from the town there either. Fire helped with the mayflies (so definitely recommending grabbing some wood). Living area inside is really good for the group and cards, watching sports, etc. Back barn had tv, pool table, fire pit, grilling, etc. Cool guy's hang-out type place. Would go again.

We stayed at Newph's landing last weekend with a group of friends. Several unsettling incidents occurred while we were at the property. First of all, the property is not clean. The floors are dirty and there are cobwebs and dirt everywhere. Second, when you rent the property, the owner requires you to rent out the back barn. He requires you to pay in cash, you cannot pay through the app, to avoid taxes and fees. In addition, if you have ANY additional guests he requires you to pay in cash. He also lives in the back barn and says he is "cool with everything" and "won't bother you". This is completely false. He will lurk around your parties the entire night and his personal kitchen is in the back barn. The state of the back barn is also disgusting. It is not clean, the bar area everything is rusted and not wiped down and the couches have holes and are discolored and brown. In addition, when we needed to pay for our additional guests, he refused to let us pay through the app. As we were 5 hours from our home, he took advantage of us being on the property. He then pulled my boyfriend into his apartment where he has loaded guns laying around and knives. He also informed my boyfriend that he has had to come at his tenants with guns before. Then he calls my boyfriend a "cab" which was unmarked, and made him go to the ATM. This man is an absolute fraud and con artist. We have reported him with VRBO, BBB, and plan to file charges. For reference, we have paid him close to four thousand dollars in total for this incredibly terrible stay. Now, he will reply to this review stating that we "did not follow our rental agreement." However, I have pictures of the way we left the house, all cash paid to him, and plenty of other negative reviews (that I wish I had read before we went on this trip). Feel free to contact me for ANY of this evidence! We followed every single ridiculous cleaning request he has in his rental request and he only returned part of our deposit (again, just conning us into more money). When I asked him for evidence of what we left wrong and the name of his cleaning company his reply was "Too late, job is already done." Overall, horrible horrible place to stay.

The house is big so it was nice for hosting. The home owner is a very nice person and helpful. It is a Lakehouse so there were bugs/decor that reflected that.

Beautiful and fun - perfect for group outings!
Newph's Landing and it's owner, Cam, were great! We were a group of 10 adults (35+) and spent the 4th of July weekend at the house and barn. From the beginning, Cam was beyond helpful as we prepared for the trip, and once onsite he was attentive, fun, and made the weekend easy and fun. The house is larger than it looks in pictures, plenty of space and well stocked. The barn is such a fun addition. The backyard of the house is also spacious and we spent many afternoons/evenings sitting there by the fire pit. The best part by far is the view! We spent every evening watching the sunset over the water. If you are looking for a easy and fun house, this is it!

We had a wonderful time staying in Geneva on the Lake.. I was a little disappointed in the charge to rent the back barn when it was not something we wanted or something we used. The cleaning list upon leaving was a little over the top but Cameron was a pleasant person who wanted us to have a good time!

Newph's Landing
We enjoyed staying a Newph's Landing. The home was very comfortable. Bedrooms were nice size and having 2 bathrooms made it very nice. My favorite part was the big back yard which was a surprise to me. I have 2 small dogs and the back yard was perfect. You will enjoy sitting it the living room and looking out to the lake. Beautiful!
Everything you needed for a nice stay was provided. We met Newph (owner) on our arrival he introduced himself and he gave us a tour of the home, which I have never had anyone do. It was nice because there was no guessing where anything was or a problem with something being wrong. He came and replaced a light bulb I never even noticed was out. Very nice gentleman.
We toured most of the wineries located here and it was so nice staying so close to all of them. If you are looking for a nice convenient place to stay then I would recommend staying here.

This was the perfect location for our family! We had the best time. So close to all the beaches.
