FEELING RELAXED

STEFAN, THE HOST WAS A MAN THAT REALLY CARED THAT YOUR STAY SHOULD BE AS ENJOYABLE AS POSSIBLE. THE PRIVACY, YET ONLY WALKING DISTANCE TO RESTURANTS, SHOPS AND BEACH.

THE BEACH WAS NOT AS EXPECTED, WITH A ROUGH SURF.

We spent a week at the villa, a family with a 4 year old child. We arrived by car from Bangkok. We really liked it, the villa is located in a quiet place among the greenery, each house is very private. High ceilings, very comfortable mattresses, good linens, spacious bathrooms, excellent cleaning. Small, but well-kept area with a barbecue zone. We were lucky with the neighbors, very nice guys. The owner Stefan is responsible, friendly, always ready to help. The only thing we didn't like much was the construction next door and the shortage of utensils in the kitchen (especially if you come with kids and planning a long stay). Summary: Ideal for families, the villa is spacious, tidy and safe. Reccomended and certanly will be back there ourselves. It is advisable to have a car or bike on the island, interesting beaches are located quite far from each other also you can reach Macro food store. Drive carefully, the roads are very narrow.

Great villa in great location

Now our favorite location on Koh Chang. It's all there. But the villa is very quiet. Beautiful grounds, nice clean pool. The owner of the villa is a great person, will help in any situation. We loved it! Too bad we were only able to stay for 6 days, all the dates are already taken. In the future, we will certainly return to Filow Villa.

Very friendly owner and Staff. The place is very close to kai bae center but also just far enough from noise from nightlife. I been koh chang many times and not many places you get this good size villa for the price so its absolutely worth it.

Relaxing week in Kai Bae

Stefan knows all about Kai Bae, Koh Chang and the daily life on the island. He had always an answer or a solution for any kind of questions. The Villa is clean and the surrounding well maintained. It was pretty quiet but also close to the street market and restaurants - no vehicle needed.

The kitchen and the bathroom are basic.

everything! it was perfect. My Thai girlfriend loves to cook so she was very happy with the kitchen facilities, everything was at hand what she needed.

Very friendly staff. Easy to arrange whatever you need (trips, motorcycles, transport etc). Very nice pool. AC in every room. Walking distance to main street with many restaurants and beach nearby. Laundry service and every day cleaning of the house.

Kitchen supplies (especially utensils) could use an update.

Probably one of the best choices for Koh Chang, unless you want to be in a resort

Very good location, only 3 min to main street and 5 min to one of the best beaches in Chang island. Premises are great - 3 villas share a pool. good privacy, good wifi in the rooms and outside. Stephan is a great host. You should also visit his restaurant for some great German and Thai food, on the main road, 4 min from the villa.

The location, the owner, all the staff were all excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. They all made you feel welcome and provided excellent service and a genuine desire for you to have a perfect stay. The villas and grounds were immaculate and a credit to everyone involved in there upkeep.

Perfect - as we were 2 couples we decided to book the Villa Filou for a week in Ko Chang. Stefan is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. The villa was has described spacious, clean, with a direct access to the shared pool, everything that you need for a vacation on the island. The staff was very helpful, it was great to have free cleaning (included with the booking). the location is great, walkable distance to the beach and main road where you can find many nice restaurants !

Superb

Quiet atmosphere with very nice surroundings. The villa is spacious with a cosy sofa and giant TV to chill. It was perfect for homeworking, the internet connection was great.

Had an good time here

Fillou Villa is just great, Stefan is there to help and provide you with everything you might need. The rooms are spacious and comfy, the villa is fully equipped, very clean and pet friendly (which is something we needed). They have a nice swimming pool and the staff is also very helpful.

I just had some trouble finding this place at first because the google maps was sending us to other places, the location isn't bad, you're relatively close to everything you need, but you'll need a car or bike to move around the island if you want to go to other beaches, but overall all good with our stay, we had such a good time.

Amazing!

Filou Villa's is a great place! It is reasonably priced, excellent location is spacious and is clean. The host was very accommodating and would be at hand if you needed anything. I was there with 4 friends and we rented 2 villas. It is a great little spot for a single person, a couple, or a group of friends. Highly recommended!

There were a few ants in the apartment but that is expected on an island.

Highly recommended villa

The villa is spacious and comfortable for a small family or group. Although Kai Bae beach may not have that much to offer, the other beautiful beaches are easily reachable by car/taxi. The owner is very helpful and kind. The villa is cleaned daily by a wonderful lady :)

The sofa could use an upgrade :) but... The only downside really is the stray dogs by the roadside going to the villa, they could be quite scary especially at night!

Be hard to pick anything other than a little difficulty finding it at first, also although out of the owners control there are a few soi dogs that may worry some
