Excellent breakfast with typical Sardinian products. Friendly staff

Beautiful place, all the staff very professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet with every delicacy of Italian cuisine with also some Sardinian specialties. I had booked at La Smeralda because I had seen that you could enjoy a typical local breakfast. I travel a lot both for work and for holidays and I wanted to finally have a different experience, to break away from the usual boring patterns, because I didn't want to find the usual international cuisine for breakfast (scrambled eggs, sandwiches, sausages, smoked herring, etc.). Here I found delicious homemade cakes and desserts, local cured meats and cheeses, Sardinian milk and pastries, strictly seasonal and local fruit (therefore not fruit out of season which travels thousands of km to reach the other side of the world) and I really appreciated this because it is a demonstration of great attention towards the customer. Highly recommended

Incantevole atmosfera: rilassante e familiare

Dopo un lungo tour dell'isola siamo stati felici di concludere la nostra vacanza qui, in un posto che conserva la sua unicità. La struttura è deliziosa e intima, curata nei minimi dettagli. La camera era nuova e aveva un bel giardino fiorito esclusivo tutto per noi dove godere di piacevoli momenti all'aperto. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il mare trasparente a due passi, il buon profumo delle torte al mattino, l'eccellente pulizia. Lo staff, in particolare, offriva agli ospiti l'occasione di un'atmosfera amichevole e familiare che noi abbiamo accolto con grande entusiasmo. Si è creato così un bellissimo rapporto che ha reso il nostro soggiorno un'esperienza piacevole e rilassante. Non ce ne saremmo mai voluti andare :) Grazie ancora a tutti!

A 5-star stay (for the price of 3)

Excellent solution, just how we wanted it. After years of experience in the tourism sector, my wife and I are in the habit of choosing accommodation based on a few simple but essential requirements that we appreciated during this stay. First of all, the property is small, so everything works perfectly and the guest is not a number, but a truly special person. We understood this even before arrival, when we received personalized messages to better organize our arrival times. At check-in we were welcomed with smiles, friendliness and professionalism. The room is new and modern with a beautiful design and balanced decor without glitz. Latest generation windows for optimal acoustic insulation. The cleanliness is impeccable, we saw with our own eyes that the owners personally make sure that in the end everything is perfect. We know that the linen comes from the internal laundry and not from the industrial laundry. This usually allows a manual check of each individual item, and in fact the linen was always perfect, without the slightest stain. Breakfast is Italian with local products and a good balance between sweet and savory without excesses, maintaining a high quality standard. Because we knew that a friend had tasted excellent Asphodel honey the previous year, we asked the staff where we could buy it and the next day the staff made us find it on the breakfast buffet. It is not always easy to find properties of this type, we are therefore very happy to share this excellent experience which we rate 10. We are sure that those like us who choose their stay based on these requirements will fall in love with this place.

Schönes Zimmer mit großem Balkon. In 2 Minuten zu Fuß am Strand. Gutes Frühstück.

Liegt direkt an einer Straße. Nachts aber eher wenig befahren.

Ottimo soggiorno a Golfo Aranci !

Abbiamo fatto un weekend lungo a settembre e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo La struttura è nuova e si trova a due passi dalla bellissima terza spiaggia e a pochi minuti dai principali ristoranti, inoltre è un punto strategico per visitare le bellissime spiagge circostanti Gentilissimo tutto il personale e ottima la colazione a buffet con prodotti tipici Super consigliato, torneremo volentieri!

We had a fantastic time, wish we were there for more than four nights.

The staff and owners could not have been more wonders. The breakfast was superb! Location was a one minute walk to a beautiful beach with a bar . The town was incredible! We will be back. Roz and Robert .

Wonderful, memorable stay with a lovely, accommodating staff.

We had a wonderful stay at La Smeralda. The rooms were beautiful and clean, as was the bathroom. The breakfast every morning was wonderful, especially the homemade cakes and tarts. The staff was absolutely wonderful too - very kind and attentive and always willing to help make our stay the best possible. The location was also perfect - in the town center. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

Best vacation ever

Breakfast served in the morning with very large choise of Sardinian products. Excellent stay, very close to the most beautiful sandy beach, lots of restaurants 10’ walk from the hotel. Staff helpful, welcoming, speaking english and french.

Reception opens at 15h, so if your flight is early in the morning ( we arrived at 8am) there is no option to wait at the hotel. We asked for early check-in ( it’s arround 50-65€) but the earliest you can get in is around 11.40.Isolation in the room not so well, you can hear people talking in the other rooms

Nice hotel at an affordable price

Very clean hotel and nice location. 10 min walk away from bars and restaurants. About 5 min away from the beaches. Awsome hotel staff and a good breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent with kind staff. Room very clean with spacious bathroom. Loved loved loved the cherries as a welcome gift in the room!!

Check-in could have been a little bit easier, and there was a slight misunderstanding over payment: as I was going to arrive later than 9pm I sent my friend to pick up the key, and I rang in the afternoon to arrange this and ensure I could pay for the room over the phone. I was told the room had already been paid for through Booking, but when my friend turned up she was told this wasn't the case - and as she had no cash on her she had to drive to an ATM and return to the hotel to pay for my room. Not a big deal, but unnecessary stress for my friend. Perhaps slightly more flexible check-in times would be beneficial. Otherwise, a really pleasant stay!

Lovely visit in Sardinia

Staff Location is great. Basically 1min walk to the closest beach, close to some great restaurants

Unfortunately I can't justify the price for stay even with the location factor. So much plastic waste each morning with the breakfast - everything is packaged into single use plastic plates wrapped with plastic foil, plastic/foam coffee cups etc. I understand the extraordinary times, but for an over €200/night B&B they could at least use paper dishes.

Gorgeous family-run boutique B&B/hotel steps from the beach, with beautifully designed rooms and a sweet courtyard. Immaculately clean and very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
