Would come again - it was in the right location

I liked that the gates surrounding the hotel were locked at night.

Not having to go down to reception to request milk and coffee for our breakfast

Unusual

I used to stay here alot years ago now its being renovated so only a few rooms available I like the room we had. But not the single beds. I like they had simple breakfast options & nice modern decor

I didnt like the fact its completely covered in plastic & no where does it warn me. I hate the single beds -at least have king single but really should only have doubles in twin room. I hate I asked for phone to be fixed & nothing was done so to get room service i had to ring in on my phone. Otherwise was good & I’ll definitely stay again.

Probably won’t stay again

The fridge still had food in it and the bagging from the builders was annoying. Didn’t find out about this until I’d paid

It was ok place to stay.

Spacious rooms

The painting- they are busy painting at the moment and the fumes were a bit overwhelming- they popped me on the same floor they were painting on. They also seem to be low on staff but once found a staff member they were willing to help.

Construction site and no notice of this anywhere. Very poor communication re the refurbishment. Hotel inside was fine

That it was a construction site. Horrible mess below our window and building covered in scaffolding.

Fine, will be interesting to see once they complete the renovations

No air conditioning, no ability to to cast to the tv. The furniture was decent, however, the mattress and bedding were not clean and there were bugs throughout the room. The bathroom was not clean with pink mould in the bath and the bathroom sink overflow was full of gunk. I hope the exterior renovations make there way inside as well.

Good value in a great location. I would stay again.

Good value and a clean place to stay. The refurbishments did not impact my stay.

Sounds picky, but the rooms look quite funky in the photos with the orange accessories. When you remove them, the rooms look bland and a little miserable. PUT THE ORANGE BACK !!! Super King bed is just 2x singles pushed together so there was an uncomfortable ridge down the middle of the bed.

Nice bed. Friendly receptionist.

Room wasn't vacuumed. Unacceptable They were doing major renovations even on Saturday and there was hammering and noise all day. I couldn't even sleep

Comfortable Bed. Quiet.

No information pack in the room. Towels were not very big or soft. Step down from shower a bit precarious when wet. No table other than the desk. We had breakfast included with our room and were told breakfast was from 6.30am - 8am. As breakfast is served until 10am in the dining room this was a little unfair for those of us on holiday.

WARNING save your money

A nice bed

Very old pictures. When we arrived there was construction work going on as we were staying over the weekend we asked would this continue answer was yes from 9am till 4pm should have been told this information before considering to book there or some kind of discount applied. No aircon in the room only a fan supplied. No extractor fan in the bathroom very old worn-out furniture not what you would expect from a room labelled as a one bedroom suite costing over $400.00. Old lifts barely any staff bar closed very early when we checked in we were told the hotel was not booked out so could park in a number of places yet our room was placed 2 doors down from the construction area. Room was not nice didn't have a nice feel to it and remote for tv had flat batteries. We had added the Buffet breakfast to our booking and it was the poorest buffet I have ever had. Scrambled eggs were like soup very runny the baked beans were the same the bacon was dry and brunt bread was fozen in the middle had to ask twice for more food and staff didn't bother to rush. General public area lifeless and not welcoming. Would have happily left but no refund for room and for that amount we stayed father than pay more money for another motel only reason we stayed there but never again.

We would book again in the future

The location was amazing for attending our end of year function. We were able to walk to dinner and didn't need to worry about having a drink, as we didn't have to drive back.

The breakfast was fine and the property wasn't too expensive and central.

The little things make all the difference. The bathroom wasn't that clean (someone else's hair on the floor and in the shower), the receptionist hadn't even ironed their shirt and the thig that really annoyed me was that the manager tried to charge me $10 to send my driver's license (that I left in the room accidentally) to me. You'd think an evelope and stamp wouldn't be worth the poor review.

Grubby shower

A/h check in was easy. Relly comfy bed/pillows.

The shower hadn't been cleaned and had someone elses hair all over it. I was pretty happy with everyting else untill I showered in the morning...

The room and booking did not match. The explanation provided from reception was all booking.com fault. Simply a feeble response and no customer service offered at all

Reasonable place to stay

Well located, walkable into town, to restaurants shops and supermarkets. Really friendly staff. Good internet. On site parking. Comfy bed.

No air con in the room. Breakfast was on the expensive side.

Great location, a short walk to restaurants and mall. Rooms were very nice, bed was super comfortable.

The restaurant was closed due to lack of staff which was disappointing.

Superb

Room very good and well appointed. Restaurant a bit on restricted hours but we had no problem with food choice.

Only problem was the safe did not work. Only a minor problem. Still enjoyed the stay.
