Für einen Kurzspatrip geeignet. Es ist besser anderswo zu Essen.

Das Essen ist völlig überteuert. Preis Leistung stimmen überhaupt nicht. Das geschnittene Tischbrot ist hart und die Speisen leider schlecht zubereitet. Auch die Atmosphäre im Restaurant stimmt nicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist zweitklassig. Abgestandener Fruchtsalat und gumige Brötchen. Nicht einmal frisch gepresste Fruchtsäfte.

Amazing views from the rooms with balconies…definitely upgrade from a garden view room!

So we arrived and checked in to a room with a garden view. This room was clean, pleasant but felt just like every other premium hotel experience. There is nothing special about these rooms and I would recommend you upgrade to a balcony (lake / sea view) room. We went straight back to reception and upgraded. The sea view rooms are bigger with a large balcony which was impressive, the views however are amazing. The spa is lovely and the food in the restaurant for the half board was good.

The swimming pool / spa could do with a refurb. A lot of tiles were loose or missing. Some of the buttons to activate bubbles were broken.

Stay there but don't eat there, it's not worth it

The place is very quiet, the pools are nice, a great place to relax (especially if you are on a strict diet)

I went to relax and left stressed because there was no normal food, only lactose-free/gluten-free/vegan/organic/fair trade/bio options. The only normal option was the burger that had no taste at all (47 francs). I ordered a Catalan cream that tasted like a wall. I have never paid so much for such bad food. The restaurant is horrible, from breakfast to dinner. Luckily and thanks to Google, we found a hotel/restaurant Cacciotori nearby that saved me from starving to death during those days.

The view.

I was there at its opening many years back. Nothing has been done since. I used to love this place. Now it’s just very sad.

Breath-taking views, clean spacious spa facilities, helpful staff, and a lovely hotel!

It is very easy to see why this is a sought after location and property for a get-away The drive up from the bottom of the mountain to the hotel is as scenic as it gets If you're into your cars/racing, you'll be greeted with corkscrews and hairpins We upgraded to a room with a balcony and the views were nothing short of breath taking and astonishing The transition between the rooms was smooth and hands-free The amenities at the hotel are absolutely immaculate - spa, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and numerous other features in the spa, spacious, were hygienic, clean and well kept The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, they greeted us on every occasion, recommended local attractions and shops The property/hotel/rooms are super clean Atmosphere and ambience of the hotel is lovely and peaceful throughout the day

Slightly on the pricey side, but understandable! Menu at the restaurant is a little limited, would be nice to have more options for veg/pescatarians Room service is limited with charges for any requests, such as additional bottles of water/towels etc There was some construction work going on nearby the hotel that made it a little noisy during the day, but not an issue overall

Superb

We loved our stay here over Easter, beautiful views, gorgeous spa area, quiet mountain location, great breakfast. We enjoyed visiting local grotto restaurants for dinner in the evenings. Great location for hiking and cycling (with bike storage). We will definitely return!

Be prepared its a good 15 mins drive up the hillside from the main road, this suited us because we liked the escape from the lakeside crowds. We would like the spa to stay open a little later in the evenings for more time after hiking etc to relax.

Beautiful spa hotel in the mountains

- Beautiful views of the mountains and lake from the hotel - Lovely room - Staff were friendly and welcoming - Very good breakfast - Great spa facilities - Lots of hiking routes direct from the hotel - Would stay there again if looking for a peaceful hotel with a nice spa.

- The dinner menu in the Bistro is quite limited. - Buses are every hour down the mountain to Lugano. This mostly worked fine for us but it meant that we ate in the hotel every evening, whereas otherwise we would have tried some of the restaurants in the nearby villages. - The pillows provided were very very soft. They do have a pillow menu which we should have used to switch them over to ones we preferred... but we didn't.

value way above average

luxury for relatively little money. beautiful views, great food, kind staff that senses what you need or don't need, especially for me as a solo traveller I never felt awkward. instant access to hiking and biking paths (came with a gravel bike)

parking seemed an issue until I discovered the extensive extra parking behind the first car park. the 12 min car climb is inconvenient but is fine for what you get.

Great value for money. Spa is great and breakfast is good but expensive View is great if you are on the right side

Size of bathroom towels Bed with 2 small blankets... not very nice for couples. The room equipment is a bit dated like the beds. Price of the restaurant is a bit ridiculous if you come from outside Switzerland... the smaller antipasti will cost at least 30€...
