Très bon séjour, personnel très agréable et petit déjeuner sur terrasse. Nous étions dans un studio au rez-de-chaussée car plus de dispo de chambre. Certes, le studio est un peu sombre mais il est bien agencé et permet de passer un excellent séjour. La rue est très calme et très bien placée. Je recommande.

Apart from the fact that the Mangano family members are perfect hosts, the place is simply wonderfully located (2 minutes walking from my conference venue! 5 minutes away from the Piazza Duomo! 5 minutes away from a very nice beach!) in a charming and peaceful little alley. Breakfast is served in a very practical and environmentally friendly manner in the dining area on the roof terrace which has a charming view. Our luggage did not arrive with us, but the receptionist very sympathetically tried his utmost best to assist by phoning the Catania airport. The Manganos are a very caring family. They work extremely hard to offer quality and friendly service. Thanks to Cinzia, Maurizio, Stefano, and Flavia!

Located in a typical laneway, next to an Osteria and a short walk to Fonte Aretusa. Don't be fooled by the exterior as the rooms are modern and well-designed. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.. Breakfast on the small terrace is plentiful and varied. We would happily return.

We loved eating our breakfasts on the rooftop - everything we ordered was served including extra coffees and delicious homemade jams. The room was very clean and sunny. The staff was wonderful. Stefano and Antonio were pure delights. Both were very helpful and interesting to talk to. Stefano recommended 3 excellent restaurants for us to have dinner - and guided us to stores to buy gifts for our family. He even helped us when we wound up in the wrong arrival area which could have been a disaster. But thanks to him - it wasn't.

The owners. Oh my goodness, so friendly, welcoming and everything . Made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing breakfast on the rooftop terrace, home made jam too and freshly squeezed local orange juice. Senza glutein options too. Comfy beds and pillows. In the heart of town but not too noisy. Thank you Stefano and you family. we will be back.

The B&B is in a perfect location in Orti
gia. The room was spacious and extremely clean with a small balcony; beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was a mini bar and a small kitchenette with a lot of amenities. The bathroom was big, clean and modern. We had daily cleaning and changing towels. The breakfast on the sunny terrace with a great view was outstanding. The hosts were extremely helpful and nice. One of the best B&B I've ever stayed at and it really exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend it. Gracie mille!

everything was exceptional. the rooms are big and clean, the location is great, right at the heart of ortigia. my favourite part was the breakfast, the terrace offered a great view. we felt very lucky to stay here.

Everything. The great breakfast, including a big selection of homemade jam. Stefano gave great recommendations for food and reserved restaurants (for example La Medusa). The apartment was comfortable. Best of all was the location, close to everything.

So welcoming and helpful. The situation is perfect for exploring the old town. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby and a lovely breakfast with a huge variety of jams in-house. The rooftop space has wonderful views.

Amazing breakfast, helpful hosts, really comfortable beds with excellent bedding (I really appreciated the pillows - most places we stayed in Sicily provided very few). We stayed in the first floor apartment and didn't take advantage of the kitchenette but would be great if you wanted to keep some food in the room! Loved that breakfast was made-to-order and had more options than many places in Sicily. Hosts were also helpful with parking, directing us to a garage that was about a 5 minute walk away.

1. Position. Just by the Fontana Aretusa and Gallery Bellomo, 3 minute on foot to the Cathedral, Castello Maniace, and the most beautiful beaches in Ortigia on both east and west sides, surrounded by countless restaurants, you cannot find a position better than here!
2. Having breakfast at the terra on the top floor in the morning sunshine is no doubt my favorite enjoyment in the whole journey in Syracusa! Wonderful food, perfect service! You can also take the breakfast to the room.
4. There is an AC in the bedroom and a heater in the bathroom, which make the whole room warm and comfortable. For me, at least, a heater in bathroom is very important.
Hot water sometimes not hot enough. Perhaps I did not use it rightly?

Stefano the owner is wonderful host. we arrived perfectly at the place which was in the middle of the old city . it is due to his detailed explanations. the place is clean , in a wonderful location and we enjoyed a lot. next time we will arrive with the kids.

Our four nights was absolutely fantastic. We (Bruno and Mrs. Bruno) had the privilege of staying here and meeting a family that truly cares about their guests.
We travel quite extensively. Sefano, Maurissimo and Antonio are the most happy, funny, helpful people we have ever met while traveling. They know everything about Ortygia and Syracuse.
Quick story…. we arrive in the pouring rain just when restaurants close for the afternoon. We asked Sefano if there was a restaurant nearby for quick lunch. Instead of trying to give us directions, he grabbed some umbrellas and said…follow me. It was just a couple of minutes away and he asked the owners if they could stay open. Who does that……
They also arranged on short notice a taxi to drive us to the beach Spiaggia dell’Arenella and pick us up later. The beach was worth visiting.
Everyday we were met with a smile. The rooftop area breakfast was awesome as well as the food and service. Maurissimo is very charming and funny.
Our room (#6) was very large, clean and bed extremely comfortable. The ceiling was hand painted and very nice. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious.
The location is fantastic. Close to the water, shopping, restaurants and all the sites in Ortygia and Syracuse. But we traveled by train so we needed to take a taxi from station.

Everything! We loved the apartment, it was very well appointed, quiet and a very comfortable bed, super shower and a 5 star breakfast. The staff were so friendly and genuine and really cared about providing you with the best service and experience possible. We loved the choice of Mauricio’s homemade jams and his humour was appreciated as was Stefano’s friendliness, we enjoyed our chats at Breakfast time!

Lovely family run B&B in the heart of Ortigia. We had a nice and comfortable room. Location is excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Gave us tips, suggestions, restaurant recommendations and booked us tables for dinner. Breakfast was delicious.

Stefano, Maurizio and their family are excellent hosts, flexible, very friendly and very committed. The B&B is located in the heart of Ortigia next to restaurants, bars and main attractions. The breakfast is a big plus very nice with an excellent view. It is definitely best value for money if you ever come around Ortigia and will definitely come back.
It was a bit noisy due to us staying on a Saturday evening but nothing major. You can request for a room in the upper levels which will be quieter for sure.
