the hotel generally is very good
The breakfast buffet was very ordinary, as was the "tapas" offered. After experiencing them we decided not to eat at the main restaurant for dinner.

We loved both the over water cabin and the garden cabin (we were in both) were amazing! We could snorkel from the overwater cabin right off our deck. Porters were great, placed our luggage in our room upon arrival and took it to the lobby when we were leaving.
Wait staff in the restaurant seemed unhappy, they seemed like they didn't want to serve us. Service was "adequate"

La posizione vicino al centro, negozi, ristoranti e bar e sopratutto alla spiaggia pubblica di tamae
il mare è un po’ sporco, torbido e non c’è una bella barriera corallina…non adatto allo snorkelling

I honestly don't have a single complaint about this place. We stayed in one of the overwater bungalows with a view of the mountains and it was fantastic! They were able to store our luggage on check in and check out, we got welcome juice when we arrived, the resort offers free activities like kayaking and paddleboarding, the cocktails are delicious and strong, the poisson cru was good, and our bungalow was right over a great snorkeling area (see attached picture for some of the fish we saw; the other two pictures are the view from our deck during the day and at sunset). I REALLY recommend getting a bungalow facing the mountains of Mo'orea, they're really SO beautiful. Didn't get any pictures of the room but it was exactly as pictured online, perfect. :)
The sliding door in our room had a little gap between the doors and when the wind whistled through it at night, it was actually pretty loud. It was fine for a night but we probably would have asked for help with it if we were staying longer; I'm sure the staff would have been happy to accommodate because they were so lovely every time we interacted with them. :)

Great location and beautiful waters/ snorkeling
Property is extremely old and needs major renovation. Broken titles by the pool. Million ants crawling in bed with us which was disgusting. They were everywhere in the bathroom. Mosquitos in the room everywhere. NOT PLEASANT.

Location
Run down condition. Worn out mattress. a/c did not work well. Mattress worn out and uncomfortable. Electric switches that didn’t work. Shower drain stopped up and didn’t drain. Very poor value for the price. Could not recommend.

First of all the property is beautiful! The staff is amazing, from Timi at check in, to the restaurant staff and the pool boy. I loved the relaxing feeling. I love that they have the bar that serves food until 9:00pm and then a restaurant that includes breakfast buffet.
There’s no hot tub. The pool closes very early at 6:30pm.

Nice over-water bungalow, fabulous reef right there
Food was not great, sewer smell from shower drain, the lounge chairs need cushions (very uncomfortable)

The property has a nice lobby and gift shop area
The grounds are lush and green with easy access to the beach even if you are not in a beach or over water bungalow
The food at the restaurant is mediocre

exceptional snorkeling-saw turtles, sharks and a variety of fish from our deck. we did not need to leave the resort to snorkel. from our bungalow facing the ocean we had both sunsets and sunrises. 5 minute walk to market, restaurants and bank. front desk so helpful and go above and beyond to help. this is a smaller resort and a great value. close to the airport and 15 minutes from the ferry.
the dinner buffets were not worth the price, go to the bar instead and wait around for the show to watch from the sidelines. the burgers and fries were great. we had that twice. all employees were fantastic except the bar hostess/server was very rude.

We really enjoyed our stay in the overwater bungalows- incredible views and loved being able to snorkel from our deck. The restaurants were great, along with the cultural show. The free activities onsite were a bonus. Having access to the resort until we were ready to leave. Very tidy and clean and quiet.
At check in we were not shown our room (just given directions to it) and felt like we had to ask a number of questions as there was no info in our room. We had to ask about wifi, buffet breakfast (missed one morning as we weren't aware we got it for free in our package) and had to ask about the activities.

The resort has amazing location. It is very clean. We were greeted by Jade who was very professional and polite. We stayed in the overwater villa with amazing sunset view. Easy to take a morning swim or snorkle. The resort has very good facilities: paddle boards and kayaks. Dinah from concierge helped us with our dinner bookings and renting bikes. The resort has amazing breakfast! Would recommend it and definitely will go back there!

The welcome to the Hotel was impressive. But the appearance of the room was a welcome sight. The staff had spend considerable time decorating the room and it was impressive.
The price was high and I was disapointed that such a high class Hotel did not offer transportation from the ferry to the hotel. When the Hotel wanted to charge me for additional coffee as apparently only 2 were given /room/stay and when they charged me for a local call to book a taxi, I thought this is not how I want to be treated as a valued customer.

We were in a Premium over water bungalow. it was a beautiful room in a wonderful setting. the better rooms are those numbered 42…Avoid 401, 402 and 403 as they are close by the port which is used by lots of boats, jet skis and boats unconnected with the resort and they start their trips early. The rooms are large air conditioned and comfy and the resort is very quiet, clean and well managed. I had read reports that the food menu was “repetitive “. it doesn’t change but the light bites and fish dishes were imaginative, well prepared and interesting and NOT the huge USA portions. Buffet breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice, fresh local and tropical fruit, bread and pastries or a cooked option. The resort is well managed and staffed by friendly helpful people. outside the main entrance are 2 or 3 cafe/bar/ eating places and one run from a van that does good and inexpensive food although it’s hot and humid to eat there. the small supermarket is about 300 yards up the road and you can buy good bottles of wine, beer, stuff for lunch, fruit etc. The excursions are numerous. car hire is very expensive and best avoided. This is the type of resort where you just arrive and relax. I also liked that this wasn’t a “chain” owned resort like Sofitel or Hilton. The staff here seem to treat everyone a bit differently to the rather plastic approach from major hotels.
I feel the resort is missing a “ trick” or two. You cannot buy anywhere any light snacks before 5.00pm and I’d have liked a cake or a pastry or an ice cream in the afternoon. Only option is to walk to the local shops outside. Also bearing in mind how many people are here, a coin operated guest laundry would be very helpful as although hot, it’s humid and things don’t dry that well. There is only a very expensive in house laundry service.

The resort was beautiful. Our over the water bungalow magical. Every thing was clean, beautifully maintained. The pool was large, with trees giving added shade cover. Loungers, pool side tables for ordering meals. The bar also had a menu for tapas as well. Plenty of umbrellas, and beach areas to select from. The food and beverages were excellent. Every thing was freshly prepared. There were water recreational items for guests to use and return at the end of the day.
I can’t think of anything.

very nice staff, helpful and friendly.
we particularly like the transit room service offered to us when we arrive in the morning when the room was not ready. they let us use the transit room quickly to change and freshen up. same on check out date, our ferry was in the afternoon. we had activities booked in the am, the hotel offered us 45 minutes to use the transit room after check out to take a shower before we take our ferry back. it’s a free service that the hotel offer! such a great idea and we feel we were well taken care of!
just some reno going on right now, hopefully that will be done soon. it didn’t affect us since we were usually out during the day
