About this apartment rental
This cozy apartment features custom furniture in every room and a fireplace to warm up next to on a chilly night. Make use of the well-stocked kitchen to cook a hearty breakfast before setting out to explore the city! The primary bedroom has a King Bed, the second bedroom as queen bed and the pull out sofa in the living room has a queen bed. All of the mattresses are high quality memory foam.
Parking: 1 gated parking spot included & plenty of free street parking
Items of Note:
1. The condo is located on a nice quiet block in the Little Italy/ UIC neighborhood. The center of the city, West Loop, River North and many other destinations are close by and can be easily reached by public transit, it is just a few minutes' walk from the Western Blue line stop, or Uber/ Lyft/ Cab.
2. The condo comes with access to a gated parking spot. There is also plenty of free street parking should you need a second spot.
3. Each room has a least 1 piece of custom made furniture.
4. If you are looking to cook, the kitchen is well equipped. I enjoy cooking and I made sure it had everything I would need.
5. There is an Amazon Echo, who you may call Alexa, to entertain you during your stay. Ask her the weather, to play music, set an alarm.....

Guests will have the 2 bed 2 bath condo and a gated parking spot all to themselves. There is a queen bed in each room and pull out sofa bed in the living room, which is quite comfortable. The bathroom comes equipped with shampoo and soap should you need them. Linens and towels are of course provided as well.
Every guest is different and has different preferences and needs. As your host I always do my best to provide you with all of the information you need before your stay. I will also will answer any questions that might arise during your stay.
**Note**: There is a camera above the exterior thresholds of both doors. They simply monitor who is going in and out of the home. Neither camera can see inside the home and there are no other cameras anywhere on the property.
House Rules:
1. Please read over and agree to the rental agreement before booking. Any damages or house rule violations will be deducted from the damage deposit.
2. Please note we may require that you answer a few questions after booking. We look forward to hosting you!
3. If full payment is not received 28 days prior to your stay we reserve the right to cancel your stay and keep the amount already paid.
Rental Agreement and House Rules: Once you book, you agree to these terms.
General Principles:
• These House Rules are intended to ensure that our property and neighbors are respected. Rest assured, there should be no problems if that happens, but if you feel you cannot follow our Rules, we respectfully ask that you not book with us.
• Please respect our property and neighbors (there are families in the association) and keep noise to a minimum, especially after 10 p.m. Guests are not permitted past 10 p.m.
Zero Tolerance Policy:
• If any party that may disturb our neighbors is thrown, large or small, or anyone engages in drug use, including marijuana use, we will require you to leave the property and impose the fines below.
Damage Deposit and Fines:
• We have overwhelmingly positive relationships with our guests and are rarely forced to fine anyone. Our intent is not to prevent you and your group from enjoying yourselves. We want all of our guests to have fun! Instead, our intent is to weed out bad actors and prevent situations that may disturb our neighbors and damage our property.
• We impose fines if any party is thrown, large or small ($1,000); anyone smokes in the property ($350); the keys are not returned ($35); the garage door opener is not returned ($100); or any theft occurs ($500 minimum depending on the item). We may also impose a $100 fine for excessive noise.
• If you timely let us know that an item is missing or damaged, we will simply charge a replacement cost. But if this is unreported, we will impose a fine of, or reduce your damage deposit by, three times the replacement cost for the missing or damaged item.
• Parking in the correct spot, described below, and properly centering your car between the lines is critical. Failure to center your vehicle in the spot will prevent neighbors from being able to park and will result in a $75 fine.
• If the number of guests exceeds the number specified in the reservation, we will impose a $25 charge per unspecified guest each night. If the number of guests exceeds the maximum allowed by our listing, we will impose $50 fine for each extra guest each night, and either keep your damage deposit or impose a $100 fine.
• On rare occasion, when our home is left unusually dirty, the cleaner charges extra. If this occurs, you will be charged $50 for each hour of cleaning beyond the allotted cleaning time.
• Checking out after 11 a.m. on the last day of your stay may result in a $50 fine if you are not out by 11:15 a.m. and an additional $50 fine for each subsequent hour.
Prior to Booking:
o We require that you have verified your email and phone number through the rental site. We also encourage you to provide additional identify verification such as your social media profile, a government-issued ID and a clear image of yourself.
After Booking:
o After booking with us and before your stay, we will require you to send us a picture of your government-issued ID. (We respect your privacy. This security process is no different from a hotel requiring you to present your ID upon arrival.) Upon receipt of your ID, we will send you the access instructions for the unit approximately one week before your stay or else immediately if your stay is less than one week away.
We may call you to conduct a final screening. If we reach out to you, access instructions will not be released until we speak. If we do not hear back from you in 24-48 hours after reaching out for the screening, we may ask you to cancel your reservation.
Check-out:
o Check-out is at 11am on the last day of your stay. This check-out time applies to all stays unless: (1) an alternate plan has been agreed to and (2) payment for late check-out or extending your stay has been made. The alternate check-out plan and payment must be made at a reasonable time before the last day of your stay.
o Checking out on time is extremely important. We cannot offer last-minute exceptions. The cleaners will clean the condominium right after your stay, and new guests often check in shortly thereafter.

Very comfortable beds. Stocked kitchen and towels. Walking distance to train. Gated building and parking.

Friendly neighborhood. Easy walking. Western L blue line station not far away so you can get around the city pretty easily.

Blue line train just a short walk away. Was also able to walk to favorites like Chick fil a. Nighttime was quiet, which we really appreciated. Everything was as expected.

Nice, reasonably quiet. Cozy and modern! Bed was too firm for us but you can not please every one. Host was very attentative and answered our questions promptly. There are 3 flights of stairs to get up to the property, so if that is difficult for you avoid this. It wasnt a problem for us. We really appreciated the off street parking. Nice place. Would stay here again.

Our stay was pretty good overall. It was nice, quiet, and had all the things we needed for our stay. The host is a great communicator, and answered all our questions in a very timely manner. We liked the room to move about, the gas fireplace, the main shower with the rain shower head, the gated parking space, and the small fans in each room (stored in closets) was a bonus!
There are a few things we didn’t care for though:
It’s on the third floor. Thought I might have overlooked this when booking, but upon looking again, it does not tell you.
The bed in each room is very firm. Like, someone could do jumping jacks next to you while you’re sleeping and you wouldn’t know it, firm.
To my knowledge, there was no live TV, just apps.
The process of getting into the condo is a bit of a process. Especially in our case, when it’s -9 degrees outside. Having to park on the street to unlock the box to get the key to open the front gate, find/get into the condo, get the car gate opener, go back to your car, drive around back, is a bit much, to say the least.

My hasband and I stayed at this lovely condo over Thanksgiving (Wednesday through Sunday). Our adult daughter live about 3 blocks away in a one-bedroom so we wanted a place close by that had a good kitchen, was quiet, and appropriate for a festive small family get-together. This surpassed our wishes. The kitchen was fun to cook in and had almost everything we needed. The design is railroad - one long hall with bedroom, laundry, and 2nd bathroom ending in the living area. Tri-Taylor is a cool little neighborhood just west of the UIC/Rush medical district, is pretty quiet, and full of city charm. There is a gated parking lot with designated spot with the rental, which is huge in Chicago! We loved this place and will definitely book it for future trips.

My family had a great time. It was a little tricky navigating how to get into the city with the blue line under construction, but the buses proved to be the best way in. The kids loved the playground right behind the building. We’d love to come back!

Nice apartment, but BEWARE, it's on the 3rd floor and only assessable via the back wrought iron stairwell. This posed a problem for dragging suitcases up and down (as well as groceries), especially being that we are of the "55 and older" crowd (and status-post a knee replacement!).
Also of note, the floorboards are very squeaky, but that's certainly not a deal breaker.
Even so, we enjoyed our stay, and Alex was super friendly and accommodating.

Booked this wonderful apartment for my wifes birthday weekend, this place is everything the host said it is. The beds where very comfortable, the home has very nice furniture, Big T.v, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Very well put together. Parking was easy, 2 min walk to the blue line to take it right into town. Very quit neighborhood. From booking, checking in, and then checking out was very easy, Alex did a fantastic job! We appreciate you letting us stay! Keep up the great work!

Also very convenient to both Rush Medical school, and UIC. Everything was walkable.

We had a great time in Chicago! The location was great, owner communication was easy, and the unit was spacious and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed and the master shower was incredible. We would highly recommend it!

Condo was amazing! Kitchen stocked, beds were comfy and 2 bathrooms was amazing. I had 3 teen age boys and we had plenty of space. Close to downtown and all the sites in Chicago. Alex was great to work with and quick to respond. We had a great time!

Enjoyed our stay here in Chicago. Family of 5 with three teenage boys. Apartment gave us lots of space to spread out. Quiet building; we hardly heard any noise from others. Loved having two bathrooms and a full kitchen plus washer/dryer for our family. We used the Western stop nearby for transit. Easy checkin. Great communication and response time from host. Definitely recommend.

Cute place! Condo was bigger than expected. So much space. Having 2 bathrooms was so worth it. Everything was cute and upgraded. You do have to go up 3 flights of stairs so if that’s an issue keep that in mind. But we loved the place. Location was about 5 miles from the loop where there are plenty of restaurants. 15 min to downtown and 20 miles from the airport

Contemporary decor, immaculate, super comfy beds and pillows, great showers and water pressure, well-stocked kitchen, really (really) quiet. Bonuses were side-tables next to beds, plenty of drawer and closet space, and clear surfaces to settle in and make it our own for a few days. Oh, and two blocks from the blue line! Hard to beat!

Place was perfect! Inviting place, accommodations met for all. Third floor was a hike but worth it. The rooms were spacious, kitchen fully equipped, and private parking was a plus. So close to all the spots- get the Chicago pass - explore the museums as you are as close as you can get.

Check-in was easy, property was clean, and property manager was responsive. Super close to the metro station (about ~4-5 min walk). Not that many restaurants nearby or maybe we didn't explore enough. In any case, very comfortable for our long weekend stay in Chicago. Unit is on the 3rd floor so be prepared to climb stairs!
