Can honestly say the warm welcome and incredible food is top notch

the staff and food were absolutely outstanding

The rooms were lovely, warm, comfortable, but could do with a little TLC in areas

Rather expensive £30 for 2 dogs for 1 night on top of £153 b&b Dog meals a let down as pre frozen and small..

Disappointing

location but terrible road noise

dirty shower, needed to unblock shower tray, curtain fell down, we needed to fix also. very noisy road, had to constantly ask for tea and coffee top up in the room. B&B advertise for bikes but had no where to store overnight, kept them in the room

A fabulous stay in a lovely location. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely inn, beautiful location, with very friendly, helpful staff.

A blind on the bathroom window would have been useful.

Dog friendly and good location

The team were incredibly friendly and it was so dog friendly. We hadn't been told there was a charge for our dog to stay but the man very kindly charged us for one night instead of 2. Breakfast was tasty.

The room felt a little worn and you could hear people in the hall very clearly due to a gap under door. Road outside was loud.

decent overnighter with great food

great staff, v friendly and helpful. lovely food for dinner & great breakfast choices in a pretty location

little bit of road noise in the early morning- nothing major, and the bathroom radiator gurgled all the time. rooms a little tired looking with mismatched lamps (one didn’t work) and no wardrobe just shelves. needs a little renovating but still had a good nights sleep

Breakfast was good

Felt mismanaged and disorganised. Carpets needed cleaning properly as there was a lot of dog hair. Room was small and dark for the price.

Great place for a break in the Peak District. Good food, good beer, comfy room and great service.

Excellent food and service. I arrived at 18:15 and found that food was served until 19:00. I ordered my meal and was served very quickly. The food was excellent. I wanted a slightly earlier breakfast than advertised and this was accommodated.

A second bedside light would be helpful if two people are using the room.

I think the Manager was friendly

It wasn't very clean and it is in need of an update and more staff, when we came back after a long day out the bar was closed at 10pm which isn't good for residents, we don't want to go to bed that early we are on holiday.

A fantastic place run by fantastic people in a most beautiful location

Absolutely stunning place. Spotless ,Fantastic food, Roaring log fires, comfy beds ,amazing views ,great location and best of all the owner and his team really go the extra mile to make your stay special , great chef , lovely people. Incredible value for money. Thank you. we will be back.
