About this house rental

Beautifully renovated old-style country house with modern comfort. Beautiful unobstructed view over the valley. Perfect for large groups. Consists of a main building with a luxury kitchen with fireplace and a library / salon with fireplace. There is a large veranda at the rear where you can easily dine with a group of 26 people and enjoy the sunset.
There is also a Big Green Egg for enthusiasts.
On the first floor of the main house there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a beautiful master bedroom with open bathroom and free-standing bath. The ground floor has underfloor heating, the kitchen has a very large stove of 120 (smeg) with two large ovens, a bar, quooker, two dishwashers, an American refrigerator with ice maker.
There is also a service room in the main house with an extra fridge, a large washing machine and a dryer.

The outbuilding, directly attached to the main building contains 4 villas, 3 of which have a living room, kitchen & bathroom with a walk-in shower on the ground floor and two large bedrooms on the first floor. Plus 1 large villa that has a passage to the main building. This villa has an open kitchen and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bathtub on the ground floor, a master bedroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the first floor.

All villas have patio doors leading to a private rear terrace with unobstructed views. The front overlooks the attractive courtyard with a beautiful ecological private swimming pool and a beautiful old gate that closes the courtyard.
The annex also has a service room with a large washing machine and dryer for the villas.
There is a large carport with parking on site. There is also a large playing field for the children with football goals. There is also a table tennis table, a table football table and a badminton set. The location is perfectly located near the airport of Bergerac and in the midst of endless breathtaking medieval villages. You can walk beautifully and enjoy nature in and near the Dordogne.

Tailor-made catering can be provided if desired.

The atmospheric courtyard is a perfect location for large parties and parties, weddings and family celebrations.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our family holiday than well equipped, beautifully situated Bellevue. Jon and Jolande welcomed us warmly and dealt promptly with any problems or do with the property.

There were 16 of our family celebrating one of our daughters birthday and it was a fabulous place. Each family had their own unit but we all ate together at lunch(when there) and every evening. We had one very special night when Isabelle cooked us a fabulous meal that suited all ages from 3 to 76. Would highly recommend her for at least one evening. Surprised about charge for sheets but mostly everything was as described. The pool and sunbeds and umbrellas were high class and we all left saying another week would have been great!!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house. Sometimes, holidays do not look as good in real life as online, however this place is amazing. The house, the adjoining villas and the outdoor areas are absolutely fantastic! As a large group of 15 adults and 5 small children, all of our needs were met. Communication with Susan about checking in and out was great, she was very responsive and made the logistics very straightforward. The facilities included are excellent. There's indoor and outdoor cooking equipment, so lots of options. We made extensive use of the outdoor dining options and spaces, especially the large group table outside which can comfortably seat 25, overlooking the rolling Dordogne countryside - this was a particular highlight. Regarding the pool, aside from the occasional bit of wildlife in the pool, everything was great! The pool is a great size for swimming, relaxing and even big games of water polo :) The location is very peaceful and tranquil, with the small town of Lalinde a 5 minute drive (or 40 minute walk) away, if you want a change of scenery. There are some very small details that weren't so great, such as the bedrooms getting very warm on hot days, making for some uncomfortable nights. We also had some issues with ants, but I guess it's the price for a rural location. Overall, we had a great time. Thank you!

Our holiday at Belleuve was very nice. We were a family of 14 people and we all loved it there. The house is large and you can find everything you need in there. Jolande was very friendly and helpful. The house was clean and the nature around the house was beautyful. We enjoyed beeing there.

This was our second year at this property, nothing has changed, we still think it perfect. We are a party of six families, each has its own space, yet there is plenty of communal eating space and room for family time. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and simply furnished. The kitchen is well equipped, and we kept the two dish washers pretty busy. The pool is perfect. Everything I wrote last year still applies. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property, and will definitely be looking to book again in the future. A bit tricky to find initially, you need to follow the provided instructions carefully. We met the host on time who was very welcoming and gave us a quick tour. We are a party of 23 from 6 families, 12 adults and 13 children … all the accommodation is of good size, the house sub rooms are little cramped, and the decor simple, clean and effective. The kitchen is well equipped for a large group and the communal eating spaces brilliant. The pool is a massive asset, big enough to swim in and a perfect distraction for the children … the pool man came twice during our stay to check all was well. The nearest night life and shops are a short drive away but that suits us. We weren’t troubled at all during our stay and everything went according to plan, checkout is what it is. Be reminded that you have to pay visitor tax when the get there … for 23 it’s quite a hit! Highly recommend.

Bellevue was the most beautiful holiday villa we have ever stayed in and perfect for large family holidays with 5 separate adjoining villas giving everyone lots of space around a gorgeous pool. It was very well equipped with high quality items. We particularly enjoyed the large range of garden furniture and cushions making relaxing and dining outside very enjoyable.

We had an amazing week with a group of twenty people. The area is beautiful and so is the house. Lots of amenities and it feels new and clean. Communication with the owner and checking in was very smooth and flexible. We would love to come back!

We used this property to get a group of friends together for a special birthday. It provided the perfect mix of inside and outside communal entertaining space with private spaces. Each of our guests had their own private suite or apartment, and the main kitchen and dining spaces provided everything we could need for catering for a large group. The owners obviously take great care and pride over the property and were both charming and responsive - including arranging for a chef to cook for us one evening. The property is beautifully appointed and very well designed. Highly recommended.

The house is beautiful and perfect for big groups and small children. The location is nice and private, but also close to several towns and places to explore. We found the communication a little slow (receiving no check in instructions) and the property could have been cleaner, though it was explained to us that there had been a big group in there before us. These issues aside, I would recommend the property!

Susan, - thank you for making this a wonderful trip, your place is even better than the picture in real life! Your wonderful mum and Jan were always on hand with any questions and even helped our stranded group to the airport when a taxi didn't turn up. The catering by Isabelle was also superb and so nice to not have to worry about feeding 24 adults each night. The 4 infants also had a great time and couldn't get enough of the pool. To top it off it's such a beautiful area of the country, we look forward to coming back next year! Thank you so very much again

I stayed at the villa with my family (13 of us) during the first week of July and we loved every second of it. Jolande and her husband are so friendly and always on hand to answer any questions. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful but only a 5-10 min drive from the supermarket and not far from busier towns for any day trips you might want to take. The pool area is beautiful! The water was the perfect temperature and there were more than enough sun beds for us all. Having separate villas was a lovely touch as it meant that people had their own space (bathroom/lounge/kitchen/bedrooms) but were still only next door. All rooms were very clean and the kitchens were equipped with everything you could ever want! The seating areas for dinner were a highlight of our holiday, along with the BBQ. We sat out every night and watched the sun set together. I can’t thank Jolande and her family enough for bringing my family together at their villa. We had a perfect week and can’t wait to come back! I would recommend this villa to anyone in a heartbeat.
