Friendly and accomodating

The room was clean and had a good a/c. Nice to have a little balcony to get some street view of catania.

so clean and beautiful! the host is a very nice gentleman and always ready to help. everything works perfectly fine,tv,air conditioning,warm water,enough clean towels,room smells very good and clean. the entrance to the building is a bit old but don’t let that hold you back from the amazing rooms. We will definitely come back here.

Overall it was very pleasant stay.

The location is in the very center of Catania, 100 meters from the Fountain of the Elephant. The host and the staff is super friendly (although you must obey some rules - no extra guests, no noise making etc.) The room is clean and well maintained. The room is split into two levels (very high ceiling allows that) so you have a lot of space. The bathroom is well equipped and clean.

The room's equipment is very basic. You have a refrigerator, a kettle and teabags, but no teaspoons, only plastic sticks. (The intention is not to eat in the room). The breakfast is indeed a coupon, which you have to use in the café Prestipino. The café is at the central square, the staff there is super nice, but you can get only one pastry, one coffee and one juice. So the whole idea of the breakfast here is unnecessary, you'd rather go to any bakery nearby (for example, Panificio Bakery).

Great B&B in a historic building, linked o Bellini family, in the heart of Catania very close to main attractions. Carmelo the host was very courteious and helpful. I would strongly recomend this B&B!

The breakfast at the nearby cafe in a beautiful surrounding. The appartment is located in the very city centre, it is close to everything that is worth seeing. A very good seafood restaurant 50 m away from the appartment, excellent fish, seafood and pizzas. The host is very friendly and eager to help.

The greatest apartment in Catania. Comfortable for everyone!

The apartment in the center of Catania with comfortable beds and super nice indoor. Although it is located in city center, the apartment is very good muted. The owner was very nice and helpful. We had also a breakfast in italian pasticceria, what was additional big advantage! That was the best place in Catania I could imagine.

Nothing to add here. Everything was perfect!

Pleasant

The location was fabulous - close to the main plaza and duomo. It was a short walk to everything we wanted to see in Catania, and near many wonderful restaurants. Our host was also very friendly and gracious. The room, although spacious and generally well appointed, fell short in one very important aspect.

The bed was very uncomfortable. It was the worst I have experienced in a long, long time. The mattress was very thin, and on a non-flexible wood slat foundation. I found it very difficult to sleep and woke up with a backache. Had the bed been comfortable, the entire place would have gotten an excellent rating.

Very nice, would recommend

Great location near a popular Piazza with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Carmelo our host was very nice and helpful. The room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean, modern and spacious. Breakfast was very good but it was at a restaurant which was a two minute walk across the piazza.

OK for one night

We had the last room, which was large with a mezzanine for 6 people. The main room was comfortable with a small balcony & the premises located in a quiet street with little traffic. The owner, Carmelo was friendly & came to guide us in. The B&B is also very well located in the heart of Catania near to the cathedral.

It was very difficult to find Amenano & parking was difficult to find in nearby streets, also the B&B is on the 2nd floor of the building with 2 steep flights of steps to climb to reach it. Unfortunately we also found Catania to be a poor & dirty city in many parts, quite unsavoury.

Perfect location in the center of the city but still pleasantly quiet.

I stayed there with my wife but the apartment has 6 beds (second floor built due to the high ceiling) and for more than 3 people a small bathroom is not enough in my opinion.

Just beware that the B&B is located on a second level of an old building, and there’s no elevator :) Hauling heavy baggage might get a little tricky.

Convenient location, easy to reach, good communication, clean and comfortable.

We stayed only one night in order to catch an early flight next day. Although we missed information that there is no lift Carmelo had been so kind to helping us taking our suitcases to B&B. The room was big and comfortable, the location is very convenient, you are literally in the center and reach anything you need in minutes. Commutation was very easy, Carmelo responded promptly. We highly recommend to stay there.
