Superb

10 mins slow (it's very hot & humid in Cartegena) to hotel from airport. Very welcoming & helpful staff (Si habla espanol como extrajero) Clean,comfortable & air conditioned.Great local Cafe for lunch on road to beach. High street good for cafes & supermarkets.Nearby bank atm which doesn't charge fees.All good. Bus to Centro.Not too far to walk along sea front if the heat doesn't bother.

Breakfast was yum. Very well located.

I lost an earring - told the receptionist but it was not found though it was on the sheets. My mother's room was uncomfortable because the ladies serving were loud in the middle of the night - did not let them sleep. They need to be respectful of their visitors and not be loud.

Budget hotel just not for us

To be fair, it is a fine budget hotel, we are just not budget travelers any more, we decided after staying here, and had been staying at places much more expensive. Helpful staff, clear checkin and check out, and billing. Great communications in terms of our late arrival. Decent breakfast for low price. Nice common area. Room was clean. Water and pop available in vending machine at front for purchase. Extremely close to airport, really could have walked there. Bank machines and grocery store nearby.

We booked at double room with a queen bed. Got a room with three single beds, one towel. Were given another towel, upon asking. Not sure why we didn’t get the room we booked, didn’t ask as we arrived very late after a flight … too tired. Used towels to cover myself as no blankets on bed, only a sheet. Air con seemed to work on only two settings: freezing cold or sweating hot. Door handle broken on outside of room, though it did lock. Would not have felt comfortable leaving our luggage in the room for any extended period as such, though staff at front desk and in-room safe. Dog barked next door nearly all night.

worth every penny..and its only a few

my 2nd time useing this little hotel....great local..walk to or from the airport....everyone is very nice.....the place is clean clean...bed is hard but............i can deal with that.....great breckfist,,,,,i will stay again....

Unpleasant one night stay.

Practical location near the airport.

We had a big problem with biting ants by the beds during the night. The staff wasn't nice about it and barely gave us a solution. The quality of service was very poor compared to the value of the stay.

My 2 cents

The 2 male desk clerks were GREAT. They were both super nice young men. Both friendly, helpful and kind.

The room was SO tiny. Evidence of black mold, which they did spend time scrapoing off. Mold on a pillow too. Some cleaning staff less helpful

Exceptional

Only stayed for one night as we needed a place close to the airport for varied early flights. Convenient location and staff was exceptional!!! Gentleman at the front desk when we arrived late was so pleasant.

Excellent, I will return.

The hotel is simple but nice. I travel with my family and we only stayed one night but everything was perfect. The staff was friendly, the room comfortable and large and the beds perfect. They offer breakfast service which is very good too. Excellent price and quality. I would return.

The truth is that there is nothing that I did not like about this hotel. Maybe they should modernize the bathroom but in general it is a good hotel.

Perfect to arrive or leave town

It's a very relaxing place with a very friendly staff. It's a few minutes walk from the airport. But also a short walk to the beach and to some restaurants. I enjoyed my stay. Perfect to arrive or leave town.

Well... There was this strong gasoline (!?) smell in my room. No idea why, a generator out back maybe? Something to look at I would say. :-)

Brealfast wasn't include on my reservation. Had only 1 day, very poor.

They give me a roon, smell so bad the himidity, the excjange me to another room, and smell gas, maybe from rhe AC. Was no hot water.

The hotel is really good located!

The rooms are too small, the bathroom setup isn’t the best. Also, they don’t clean properly the rooms. The staff service was too slow, they didn’t helped us much to guide us to the city. You can also hear everything outside the room. It’s too pricy for what the offer, not so good.

Exceptional

Easy walk to the airport with 2 suitcases, only 1 small block away. Beautiful courtyard to mingle with other guests. Very quiet and clean. I would highly recommend it.
